1. Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent Packs

Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent Packs

The formula cuts through grease and food to leave dishes sparkling clean. There are no fragrances, dyes, or chlorine bleach. Just toss the dishwasher packs into the dishwasher. The product was certified by the USDA. The packs come in a pouch.

Brand: Seventh Generation

👤I have used the same dishwasher detergent for as long as I can remember. It is reliable and effective. There is a The scent of Cascade is disgusting. I have used powders, liquids, and gelpods for the past 6 years or so and my dishes would always have a very strong, nauseating odor and taste after using thepods. I couldn't use my cutting boards because of the taste and smell. I won't get into the fact that some of thepods would stick together in the package and leak. I had to throw the gel pack out, put a new one in, and run the washer again because the gel pack would stick to the tray. I'm so angry. When we moved to a home with well water, my dishwasher and dishes began to smell dirty after I used the Cascade Pods. I started doing a sink wash after running the dishwasher, which is a pain on the back, waste of time and money. My research led me back to Seventh Generation, because there are very few free and clear dishwasherpods on the market. I gave it a try, but didn't think it was very good. There is a Woo. Oh! The Pods are a pure white powder. There was no gel or colors. I have used thepods three times in three days and I am a convert. I am not sure how these littlepods pack so much goodness, but my dishes have come out clean, even though I am not sure what cycle I am running or what is inside the dishwasher. There was no clouding or haze. There is a I don't have a scent or taste on my dishes. There was no weird smell in the machine. There is a The Seventh Generation Pods are wonderful. I am so revved up about the dishwasher detergent that I didn't know I had it in me. I bought the liquid dish soap to replace Dawn and other Seventh Generation household cleaning products. I was impressed. The true test of Seventh Generation products will come when. I use their laundry detergent instead of Tide Free & Gentle. Seventh Generation is not 100% natural, but it is a lot less toxic than my previous products and the power and performance of these Pods makes me pay a bit more. What a find!

👤I couldn't get my typical super-powered Pod so I bought these. I thought I would be limiting this use to lighter loads. These worked well, no leftover food or spots. I used these to deep soak my pans and over racks. Threw a few of them in with warm water and let it sit overnight, and black baked on messes are easy to clean with a sponge. I would buy them again. You will still be satisfied with their performance if you use these ingredients.

👤I've been slowly moving towards eco-friendly products. I research to find an eco-friendly item to replace a traditional product. I tried Mrs. Meyer's dish detergent but it wasn't very good and left a smell on my dishes. It made me hesitant to try another product that was eco-friendly. I got these after giving it one more try. The dishwashingpods are more expensive but they work. There is no scent on the dishes. There is no leftover. It got off the pasta and dried egg. My glasses are sparkling as well. I'm happy I tried them.

2. Finish Quantum Infinity Shine Dishwashing

Finish Quantum Infinity Shine Dishwashing

The new Finish Quantum infinity shine scrubs, degreases, and shines deliver their best ever in clean and shine. The power to break down and remove toughest stuck on food in one wash. Grease cutting power handles are tough. LIQUID POWERBALL. Filled with power actions that dry and give a finishing boost. Compost is recycled. Before removing the plastic sleeve, remove it.

Brand: Finish

👤I threw this out because I was tired of coffee with detergent in it.

👤The dishwasher broke down after the review was written. The detergent was not the problem, it was the machine. I can't tell you if the new machine washes everything well with any detergent we've used, but I can tell you that it does. I'll be buying the Infinity again when we use up the old detergent packs. Why did you stop making Quantum Max? It was great! It left the glasses sparkling, and didn't leave a nasty aftertaste on my dishes, and didn't need the help of a booster like Lemishine to perform really well. You left Quantum Max behind. Why did you try the 'New Coke' strategy? The classic coke of quantum max should be brought back. Please! There is a I'll keep using this stuff in hopes that you will return the QMax!

👤I know what you are going to say about your dishwasher not getting clean. I have a brand new Bosch dishwasher. It isn't working properly. I don't think this is the issue. When I pull my dishes out, they still have a slick coating on them, and they smell and taste like soap, especially cups and my other glass containers.

👤I've tried at least a dozen different brands and even tried a few different formulas on my own chemistry lab at home. In a time after controlling the algal blooms of the 90's by outlawing the use of salt in food, was it the dishwasher? I have found modern dishwasher do not do anything other than waste time and energy. I use either Finish Quantum or Costco's knock off of it. The knock-off always stinks to high heaven. The Finish brand is inconsistent, it sometimes stinks to high heaven and other times its smell is vey faint, and that is comparing apples to apples, not comparing scented versus unscented. The cleaning power is consistent. This and the knock-off of Costco do some magic that I have not reproduced at home, so please do not play with chemicals at home. It can be dangerous, especially caustic lye, a common classical ingredient in soaps, as well as acids, which are sometimes used as rinse aid, even though household 2% vinegar is relatively safe, and soda ash and the likes are relatively harmless but don't play with chemical at home. Leave that to dumb rednecks and pros.

👤This is what came with my dishwasher and I don't have anything to compare it to. I bought the exact same thing after I found it was fairly priced compared to the competitors and it was what I got with my GE dishwasher. There is a I like the scent of the results. It is a clean smell and leaves the dishes clean. There is a Also, note: To anyone dumb like me that never had a dishwasher before, you just put the whole thing in the machine. The film on the outside of the dishwasher breaks up without assistance. I spent a lot of time trying to open the first one and put it in the reservoir. I have to add this note in hopes others will see it. I saw a lot of reviews about how "crappy" these were, and that they didn't actually work. You are not loading your dishwasher wrong. I had this happen a few times. I realized that my silverware caddy is in front of the little door where the detergent goes. If I put a big item like a soup ladle or tongs there, it stops the door from opening and stops the detergent package from dissolving properly. When the sequence ends and you open the door, you can see that the dishes are dirty and the tablets are not dissolved. I bet it will work if you run it again with nothing in front of the door. I never had the undissolved tablets happen, but I am now aware of it.

3. Grab Green Dishwasher Enzyme Powered Mineral Based

Grab Green Dishwasher Enzyme Powered Mineral Based

There is something in this: There is a 60 Pod Bag of Grab Green Natural Fragrance Free Automatic Dishwashing Detergent Pods. Their bags are easy to use and don't have to be zip closed. Their kitchen solutions are made from naturally derived plant and mineral based ingredients to ensure the best cleaning products with no harmful chemicals. It's safer for you, your family and the planet. Grab Green's plant and mineral-based formulas are made with high-quality ingredients that are proudly cruelty-free, never tested on animals and made in the USA.

Brand: Grab Green

👤White particles are visible in the little bits of water left at the end of a cycle. We have a new dishwasher. European dishwashers don't use heating elements for drying. More efficient. There is always a little water left at the end of every cycle. The dishwasher has a slight chemical smell when I open it at the end of the cycle. I finally saw the tiny white particles in the water that were left in the bottom of some glass containers. If I've taken the time to write this review, I want other people to know that the product leaves a lot of leftover. That means you're eating something. My child is eating it. It's possible that it's possible that it's possible that it's possible that it's possible that it's possible that it's possible that it's possible that it's possible that it's possible that it's possible that it's This isn't a user error and it isn't water hard. The water in San Francisco is soft. Going back to the Seventh Generation. It's more expensive but it's worth it. I wish I could get the other bag back.

👤I was a bit worried about getting these because of the bad reviews of the white powder on the dishes and plates. I've run several loads and my dishes and glasses have never been cleaner and have sparkled, not a trace of white powder on anything, including at the bottom of the dishwasher. I discovered that Grab Green is made of all safe ingredients because it is on the EWG list of safe products. I also use Ecover rinse aid, which is a top EWG rated safe product. My dishwasher repair guy once told me to always run my sink water on the hottest temperature for about 10 seconds as I'm starting the dishwasher to prime the hot water, which helps ensure that the Pod and powder are dissolved properly. I was looking for no smell or taste at all and it is. The packaging problem has been solved by GoGreen, perhaps because of all the bad reviews. I don't think I'll have the package sitting around for very long with regular use, but I will have to see how it does on my next order. I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the quality and safety of this dishwasher detergent, and will be sticking with it.

👤It took me a while to understand that the detergent is coating the inside of the dishwasher with gray powder and leaving dishes feeling grimy. The period during which Amazon will handle refunds had expired, so I sent a simple request for a refund, but the company refused to issue one. I told them that if they didn't write a company check, I would have to ask the Better Business Bureau to intervene. I was told that I was one of the few customers who was aggressive and refused to get a refund. The president of the company was unwilling to stand behind the product, and not even being polite about it.

4. Finish Dishwasher Detergent Powerball Dishwashing

Finish Dishwasher Detergent Powerball Dishwashing

Finish Powerball Tabs have a cleaning power that is three times that of regular Finish powder. Powerball scrubs away dried-on food. The dishwasher rinse aid Jet Dry eliminates spots and film. The dishwasher tablets have a clean scent. The dishwasher has 90 wash loads. They are here to support your shopping experience. You can call or visit them on social.

Brand: Finish

👤I bought the dishwasher tabs. You can subscribe and save via this link. The box of 90 is an excellent value because of the added savings. I used to work for an appliance retailer that recommended Finish dish tabs. Most grocery stores don't sell the best cleaning made by Miele. The next best thing is finish tabs. There is a If you have a dishwasher with a STAINLESS STEEL tub, rinse aid is important to help dishes dry better. The layers help get everything clean by dissolving at different times during the wash cycles. There is a It's not the detergent's fault if you find white spots on your glasses. The trick is to leave sauces on the dishes because the newer dishwasher cleans better. The soap needs something to do, so leave off the hard foods. If you pre-rinse everything, you will end up with soap on your glassware and silverware. It's time to stop pre-rinsing for cleaner dishes. If you're washing a light load, make sure it's clean. We cut these tabs in half and they clean as well. Kitchen shears cut them, but sometimes one half falls apart. I use the first half of the load in the dishwasher and then use the second half. We only use full tabs when there is a heavy load. It is possible to see what works best with your appliance. If your dishwasher was built in the last 20 years or so, all of the above probably applies to you. There is a Some of the more inexpensive models don't have hot water. Running your sink water until it's hot will help it get up to temperature faster and will help it clean better. It is recommended. There is a smile. Hope this is helpful.

👤The dishes came out with film, not the film I have used before. These must have been young. I received them and they didn't look right. Many of the individually wrapped detergent were broken when opened. I used them for almost two months and they came out with film on them. After buying a new box of the same product from the store, our dishes were sparkling clean, even though we thought there was something wrong with the dishwasher. I didn't know that dishwasher detergent needs to be fresh. I researched why my dishes were not clean. Will not purchase from here again.

👤We have no idea what's going on with our dishwasher, it was working great until we started using this product. After the wash, we have a disgusting white substance on everything, so you can rub it off with your fingers or a cloth. What do you get in your drink or food if you don't rub it off? I wish I could return the unused portion to someone for a credit, but it's clear from the reviews at Amazon and elsewhere on the web that lots of people are having this problem. It would be a good time to remove this listing from Amazon.

5. Cascade Actionpacs Dishwasher Detergent Essence

Cascade Actionpacs Dishwasher Detergent Essence

Formulated with thoughtfully selected ingredients. There are 1/3 biobased ingredients. Dawn's grease-fighting power is released when the Dissolves fast. There was no chlorine bleach. There was no phosphates. There are no heavy perfumes. Convenient, premeasured ActionPac. It isphosphate free. For the best clean, use the dry rinse aid and dishwasher cleaner.

Brand: Cascade

👤Everyone with a perfume allergy or sensitivity should be aware that this has perfume added, as listed on the side of the container. I didn't read the write-up because of the name of the product. The manufacturer needs to call and complain about their product name.

👤The scent was very strong. The lemon scent is stronger.

👤"Free and Clear" no longer means what it used to, and I have learned that "Lemon Essence" is no longer a label. This smells like a bathroom that has just been cleaned.

👤I was so happy to find these. I was tired of the smell of my dishes. The scent of these dish tabs is milder and slightly citrus, and they work as well as any other dish tabs I've used.

👤The dishes are definitely clean. I was looking for something without the smell of chemicals but it still stinks like chemicals and I am extra sensitive due to allergies. The dishes are very clean. If you have been getting fog on your glasses, you can put some water in the dishwasher rinse agent compartment. I've been doing this for about 5 loads and it is slowly shining up the glasses, making them clear again. I don't smell it on them.

👤We switched and were glad we did. The best tabs so far. Before finding these, I tried many other things.

👤Even though it is free and clear, I don't like the scent of my dishes. Product makers can't get it through their heads that not everyone wants a scent. It cleans my dishes like no other, but unfortunately the scent will cause me to return it.

👤I have used other brands, but I always come back to this one. It's easy to use and get the job done.

6. Biokleen Automatic Dishwasher Concentrated Eco Friendly

Biokleen Automatic Dishwasher Concentrated Eco Friendly

The Free & Clear Automatic Dish Pods are clear of dyes and brighteners. Natural oxygen bleach helps remove stains while plant-based surfactants get off tough baked-on-food and grease. The dishes are clean and free of chemical taste. Say goodbye to chlorine and hello to clean dishes. Eco-friendly, plant-based, no artificial fragrances, colors or Preservatives.

Brand: Biokleen

👤Mrs. Meyers was of a better quality for the money and was also eco-friendly. The bags made the skins non-usable. After two washes, there was a substance on my glasses.

👤I like to clean the dishwasher. The dish detergent and other stuff in the other triple acting power Pods are often left behind. Enter Biokleen Pods! There is a You understand the idea.

👤I imagined a product that was eco-friendly could do better than the one I was using. I feel better knowing that this one is not hurting the environment.

👤The dishes are clean and does not have a strong toxic scent.

👤The contents were destroyed when the package arrived. The bags of powder are smashed open so that they are no longer Pods.

👤I didn't think this was doing much and I was using 2 at a time. It's probably a similar effect to putting a small amount of baking soda in there.

👤Several of them were busted open, they cleaned well compared to other brands that left a film.

👤Don't put plastic in this detergent. It leaves a powdery white substance.

7. Mrs Meyers Clean Automatic Verbena

Mrs Meyers Clean Automatic Verbena

Automatic dishwasher detergent is safe for use in all machines. The soap tablets are made without animal derived ingredients. The Lemon Verbena dish has a light, mild scent. The dishwasher soap cup has dishwasher tabs in it. Mrs. Meyer's produces soaps that are free of animal products. Their products are not tested on animals.

Brand: Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day

👤I will not purchase Mrs. Myers products again because she uses harmful chemicals and is a marketing ploy. Does it work? I don't want to use their products anymore.

👤These are the worst dishwashing tabs I have ever used. The detergent does not completely dissolved on the dishes. It doesn't get the dishes clean at all and it doesn't have any detergent left. I thought it was my dishwasher when I ran it on the highest and longest setting for 199 minutes. What of wasted time, money, and water! I have tried the lavender kind before, and they worked well, but the Basil kind is so bad that I can not recommend it. I went back to the previous detergent that I used and it was better than this one. I was disappointed in this product.

👤Don't buy it! It doesn't work because the smell is good. Pods won't be dissolved. We used the detergent by cutting the Pods. Still doesn't completely eliminate Major disappointment. They're not clued up ortone-deaf after being called and spoke to. Mrs. Meyers products are amazing. This one falls short. There is a I'm washing twice because of no resolution. You should wash and rinse. It's really sad.

👤We believe our dishwasher should be doing the washing. We rinse our plates before putting them in the dishwasher. This has always been enough when using other brands. The Mrs. Meyers detergent packs are different. The dishwasher got caked in grease and residuals after a week of use. We're moving away from harsh chemicals so I wanted to love them. I had to call it a loss and continue my search. The smell is good and there is no harsh chemicals.

👤This was changed from 5 to 3 stars. There is a I was excited to get a brand that used less chemicals. The result is not as good as my stand-by. I tried a lot of different things to boost the results of this product. It has to be a pain in the butt. I went back to Cascade. There is a I'm not a fan of drinking glasses that are not clear and clean. There is a Try a bag and see how it works for you. I have well water that we use to filter out the bad stuff, so you might have a better result. The smell of the dishwasher tabs was not good. I would swear by Mrs Meyer's liquid dish washing detergents and liquid hand soaps. Those are amazing.

👤The automatic dishwashing tablets are amazing. They get my dishes so clean that they smell amazing, but they are not like the major companies brands, which are harmful to your health. I have used other products before, but I was worried about my throat when I smelled fumes from the dishwasher, so do not experience that with this product. I bought 3 packages of these for a low price not much higher than the price I pay for a package of P&G products, and they clean better.

8. Method Power Dishwasher Packs Clear

Method Power Dishwasher Packs Clear

There are 20 individual packs of dishwasher soap in the pouch. The dishwasher detergent has stain lifting power. There are no chlorine bleach or phosphates. Works hard in water. Powerful rinse-aid action. 48 hour stuck-on food removed. It is cruelty free. Not tested on animals. Free and clear. It lives up to its name with no dyes or perfumes. Doing business with a purpose is what they are doing.

Brand: Method

👤I have been using the previous version of this product for years and it has worked well. They recently changed the packaging and the size of the Pod, now it doesn't work as well as it used to. silverware is becoming tarnished as dishes come out with food still stuck on them. I canceled my subscription and saved money so I can find a new detergent. I plan to throw out the rest of the stock. If you read any of the reviews, bring the old formula back.

👤These are terrible. The newer version of the Method Smarty Dishtabs were recommended as the better option. The quality is not the same. They left a black film on my dishwasher. They don't wash the dishes or leave the dishwasher smelling clean after the cycle is over. Don't buy these! The picture of one package is displayed on the product page, but there is a different description. The grey bag is not as good as the other products. The discontinued mostly white bag has light blue accents and works well.

👤Just awful. I'm assuming it has a problem with hard water because some people seem to like it. I would love to return it. I think it's because of the double crosser. I told her to order more dishwashing detergent and she sent me this. Look at the photo. Can you believe it came from the dishwasher?

👤The new tablets are not as good. The tab is kept out of the wash stream by the dissolvable coating on the detergent door. Since receiving this new design, I have had 4 cycles go like this. I have been ordering these tabs on auto-renew for 3 years.

👤You have done something different. The free and clear dishwashing detergent is bad for my allergies. I want to get the real free and clear.

👤The product was awful. Don't buy! There was a white film over the dishes in the dishwasher. I don't know if my glasses will ever be clear again.

👤These are terrible. We had to pay a repair person to come out after they changed something and the new version left a lot of soap scum and white stuff everywhere.

👤We bought a new dishwasher and I bought some of the complimentary Cascade brand Pods. Whoa. It leaves a white film on everything. The dishpods are the only thing that hasn't changed. My dishes are gross.

9. Cascade ActionPacs Dishwasher Detergent Packaging

Cascade ActionPacs Dishwasher Detergent Packaging

Save up to 15 gallons of water per dishwasher load when you skip the pre-wash and run your dishwasher. More dishwasher brands in North America recommend Cascade than any other automatic dishwashing detergent brand.

Brand: Cascade

10. Better Life Dishwasher Detergent 24073

Better Life Dishwasher Detergent 24073

Powerful natural cleaning agents like soap bark, corn, and coconut are included in the plant-based cleaning ingredients. Their dishwasher gel combines plant-based power and peace of mind to leave your dishes sparkling clean and smelling fresh. Shake and squirt into the dishwasher detergent cup. It's perfect for dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans. Their dishwasher gel cuts through grease and Grime with its natural power. Better Life is a Leaping Bunny certified company that never tests animals.

Brand: Better Life

👤I ordered the 3 pack after reading all of the positive reviews of the floor and universal cleaner. I gave this product a week or so to get the dishwasher used to the new solution, but I don't think it's a good idea for me. I place the plates in the machine after washing them. All the dishes come out with something that is visible but not completely invisible, and it just keeps getting worse. I have months of dishwasher liquid that doesn't fit with my machine. Frustratingly sad. Suggestions for reasonable alternatives? As of May 25th, 2019. My review has been hidden. I removed another star if someone was sensitive to receiving a negative review. There is a It is not right for customers to only leave positive reviews.

👤I want this product to work. It doesn't. My dishes were not clean. Some of them had dry white stuff left over. When I loaded the machine, my stuff came out clean. I own a new dishwasher.

👤We've been looking for a dishwasher gel for two years and Better Life Dishwasher Gel has answered the call. It took weeks or months of using dishwasher gels to determine that they weren't doing their job, which was the most painful part of the quest. Some were obvious on first use, but others built up a film that wasn't obvious until many washes later. The detergents would cause us to rewash the cabinets and make them look new again. We're happy to report that the bottle has not been out for a while. The Honest Co. and biokleen were the worst of the automatic dishwasher gels we ordered through Amazon. Better Life Dishwasher Gel is a dishwasher detergent. There are many powders and pouches there, but only a few gels. There are always warnings about little ones trying to eat the pouches and the powders have a tendency to puff into the surrounding air, which is why we chose a gel. The gel limits the number of choices to minimize risks. Better Life Dishwasher Gel is easy to clean and does not produce offensive fumes while the dishwasher is running. Your mileage may vary, but our glasses come out clear, plates have no film left behind, silverware has no food particles on them, and silicone and plastic items have no residual soap. We have good water and a good dishwasher that is kept clean. We clean the dishwasher by running white vinegar through it. The build-up in the dishwasher has not changed from this soap. We have no complaints about this detergent.

👤There is an update for 4/2020. Since I had bought a bottle and didn't want to just throw my money down the drain, we were persistent in using this. I love this detergent. It took a few cycles to figure out how much I needed to use, but I use about a quarter of the normal amount. The detergent cubby is barely filled. I bought the last bottle in August and we cook all the time and wash dishes so frequently that I am just now running low. I am buying another bottle of detergent because it cleans our dishes. I learned that the error it was throwing on the dishwasher was because it was causing all the suds when I filled the detergent cubby full. I recommend now. If you have wood floors, you should put a towel down when you figure out how much to use on the dishwasher. I wouldn't recommend it. I did not read the instructions and filled it with normal dishwasher detergent. The dishwashers overflowed with suds on the hard wood floor. I used the directed amount after reading the instructions. There are so many suds in the dishwasher after the cycle is clean that this did not overflow the dishwasher onto the floor. The dishwasher will not allow it to pump/drain properly, so it keeps throwing errors on it. The money was wasted. It had great reviews, so it was pretty bummed.

11. Finish Powerball Tabs Power Free

Finish Powerball Tabs Power Free

The world's #1 Recommended Brand is dishwasher brands. No need to pre-soak or pre-rinse with Powerball that powers away grease and burnt food. Provides glass protection. Tea and coffee stains can be cleaned with advanced powder and bleach. It's easy to use, pre-measured dishwasher capsules.

Brand: Finish

👤When it arrived, the package was opened. The red ball is not in the center of some of thepods. Some of thepods have a blue layer and some have a white layer. The plastic sleeve that protects the Pods in the dishwasher is made of no plastic. The detergent powder got onto the other item in the package after some of thepods were damaged. I don't know if we got the full 78. I think it's a fake or someone has leftovers of different versions of the product. The package was wide enough to hold thepods.

👤A friend brought me flowers in a glass vase. I wanted to return the vase the same way someone would return a plate. It was just a regular glass vase with etchings and not that shiny or attractive to begin with. It would be easier to run through the dishwasher. It came out as Shiny as Crystal! I was horrified. The dishwasher tablets are cheaper than most of the others. There is a PackAGING is a kind of wrap around that you don't remove. I have used them where they were collapsing. The problem is solved by a coating that is dissolved in the dishwashing cycle. There is a It's not an overwhelming scent, which is huge for someone like me who is sensitive to scent. There is a Does it work? Oh yes! It's just me. I don't pre rinse things, but I make sure no chunks are on the dishes and it gets everything clean. Good price. I probably could have gotten a better price if I had bought a bigger quantity. Next time, I will get a bigger box. There is a There are so many things that are not true so far. If you've tried a bunch of others and aren't satisfied, then you should get the smallest box of this you can find.

👤The large quantity of plastic wrappers is easy to use. The smell when you open the bag is bad. It's not pleasant. I could get past that if they were cleaned well. They're the mid rangepods. I thought they would be alright. I have to wash dishes before putting them in the dishwasher or they will come out dirty. The quantumpods were great but they were too expensive and are not as good as the quantums. I've had to run dishes through multiple times and I find that my silverware is almost never cleaned out of the dishwasher on the first run. It's really frustrating. There is a They weren't packed well and the bags they arrived in were smashed. Will not be buying again.

👤I am disappointed in the end. I expected good things from the brand, but they don't work. They don't clean my dishes, there is always food stuck on, and they don't dissolve completely in the dishwasher compartment, where other brands do. I paid $18 for a big pack of these and it was a waste of money. I will never buy Finish products again if they don't refund me. I will be using Cascade Platinum from now on.
