Best Eco Friendly Bowls Disposable with Lids

👤I was happy to find a 100 pack of 17 oz bowls for a fair price, but I now regret it. You can only use them for light weight dry items. If it is warm liquid, double them for milk or triple them. Don't use them for hot liquids or it will be on your lap.

👤The bowls are better for the environment. Microwaving damages them. The first time I used a microwave was to cook oatmeal. I put it on the table. I moved the bowl and found a stain that ruined the table's finish. The heat must have caused a reaction. Hot food makes eating unpleasant. A product by a different company said that would happen. I chose these because there was no warning. It should have been written in the description. I wouldn't have bought them. I'm trying to locate the seller but haven't been able to do so. I would have given them one star, but from what I can tell, single star reviews don't get published.

The safety factor was marginal at best, as the bowls were sturdy enough to microwave. The Green Tree bowls are both safe and efficient. They don't change the food's taste. Food heated in them actually heat, rather than absorbing it, is the best part. We will only buy these products.

They can be picked up without worry. I will rinse/flatten them out and use them as a weed barrier for my flower gardens when I am done with them. I can do two layers of the weed barrier. I will let everyone know how it goes in a month. It should be covered with mulch once I flatten and wet them. I know how long it takes for them to compost. It will not disrupt earth worms and air will still get through for plants. I hope my township will allow me to recycle what is left.

They absorb all the mean juices and then you try to cut them, the bottom falls apart and you tear holes in it. I have to replace the top plate halfway through a meal to avoid getting grease on my table. I don't know. For a simple lunch/sandwich type meal, yes. If you need to cut something, leave it at a plate that is better suited to handle it.

👤I wanted to like these because my family uses a lot of paper plates. It sticks to the table, tears, and absorbs any liquid. It's ok for an egg or a cold sandwich with chips. Think thick card stock. Don't use these at a picnic if you have baked beans. The food will leak through your lap.

The bowls are able to last through my slow eating, without showing any signs of critical mass, if I eat 30 or more food chews per bite over the coarse of a show or movie. I did not leave liquid in these bowls overnight. I have not tried to break these bowls. I have not gone out of my way to cause them to fail overfill. So no. I don't know the limits of these things. I know that the bowls are durable enough for my needs and usable. That's what it's being said. I am used to the large plastic bowls that these bowls are a perfect replacement for. The bowls are a perfect replacement for the mini shield buckler/upside-down Captain America shield sized dish that I use for dinner. The Captain America sized dinner dish is half the size of my kitchen sink, so I don't have to clean it. There is a Well made, large, durable, and forgiving on your environmental footprint! At the time of this writing. I am ordering the same item for a second time. I don't have a comparison with other similar bowls. I am happy with my purchase from this brand.

👤Can hold the same amount of liquids as 2 cans of soup, which can be used for rice with stew. It would be best to use 2 bowls and a 20oz bowel under it, as the side will start collapsing if liquid is not removed, and carry on a plate or tray to protect fingers and hand.

They are more expensive than the Allmark brand that you can purchase twice as many plates for $5 more. The plates blow them out of the water so they are strong. If it can hold water for at least three days without becoming saturated, it's good for soups, cereals, and milk. It's easy to add compost after use.
