Best Eco Friendly Dog Poop Bag Holder

👤I love Glad Trash bags for the kitchen and the heavy duty Black Glad bags. Glad is the best trash bag out there and I will not buy anything else. I was very excited when I saw the Eco Friendly dog waste bags. I had tried the earth friendly bags and the dogs on board ones. The Glad bags did not live up to their name. I don't like picking a dog with the Glad Bags as they seem thin and flimsy and they tear easily. I will stick with the other brands.

👤Do not buy based on a photo of a large dog. The bags are for small dogs. If you enjoy getting poop on hand, you will be disappointed if you purchase a large dog. The plastic is strong, the handles are large, and the place to put the poop in is small. A guy putting his hand in a bag fills it up so he doesn't have to worry about his wrist being hurt. The cheap China made bags are useless to use with medium to large dogs, so we are still looking for large dog poop bags. The top portion of the bag is 8 inches deep, the bottom portion is 3 to 4 inches, and the top portion of the palm of your hand is not covered when trying to pick up dog poop. I can visualize a college educated engineer designing these. Don't buy just because it says it's eco friendly, as if taking all the dog poop to the regular trash dumps is eco friendly.

👤The pros are cheap. There are 120 bags for $6. The smell of baby powder is not for larger breeds. I thought these would be a good alternative to having to use produce bags and use the Ziplocs around the house to clean my cat's litter box daily. These are small bags that are much smaller than a kitchen compost bag, so I can't scoop the daily clumps of pee and poop into them. The handles aren't long enough to tie off a bag like others so they can't always trap odors. I can only imagine someone with a large dog trying to use them. I am not using a dispensers, but I did run into the split bag issue on my first roll.

I have a bag container with a screw off cover on a lanyard and a small flashlight, which I use to find the poop in the dark. 2 dogs. I only have 2 hands. My 2 corgis don't always go at the same time so I usually need 2 bags, but these are too big and the top tie style is cumbersome. The diameter of the roll is too large for a new one to fit in my holder. It's really hard for a task that should be quick and seamless. The bags are hard to open. There are zero stars.

I use bio bags for my compost and they sell do poo bags, but I took a chance on these as some of my dogs are mega poopers and these hold up, plenty big enough and I do the double poop with them. It feels so much better to use something that is truly green, will 100% buy again and will be encouraging friends to try it. I can't stand that fake perfume smell on some bags, they have a faint smell of a natural scent, if you put it right to your nose, it's corn. I didn't think I'd be so crazy over poo bags. Don't leave yours full on the trails, invest in a poosack and carry them with you to a bin, Cheers.

👤Compostable is better than "biodegradable" when it comes to poo bags. I was very happy to find these bags. They work well and are economical. We have these on a subscription for 3 months, and that might be too much for our dog.
