Best Eco Friendly Fabric Softener for Washer

👤I used these with smaller loads of wash a number of times. I put my comforter in the dryer with the balls. I have to do three - four drying cycles using Heavy Duty or Permanent Press to get the comforter completely dry. I put the comforter back in the dryer when I take it out to make sure the edges of the comforter are against the drum. The last time I used a cycle was 40 minutes ago. The last time I took the comforter out of the dryer it was ruined with tan colored stains. I had a good comforter that was stained by a dryer ball, now it is a $200 comforter.

I had a few bottles of essential oils in my drawer and they were about to pass their prime. It was the perfect time to order my own wool dryer balls and finish off my bottles of essential oils. I was devastated when I saw that essential oil wouldn't mask the smell of sheep. I did a little research and found out that the odor would fade in time. In time? I was not going to dry load after load until the scent of fleur de fleece had dissipated. I threw them in the washing machine because it was the best idea ever. They were better after three washes with hot water and detergent. I was worried that washing them would ruin them. I made a blend of lemon oil, lavender oil, and a little distilled water in a spray bottle and generously sprayed them before tossing them in the dryer with some towels. Applause! The sheep-stink was gone, but I couldn't detect my lavender-lemon blend. I put the spray bottle away and dropped the oils on the wool balls. There are 9 drops lavender and 10 drops lemon per wool ball. I put them in a jar and let them sit there for a while. I'm on my fifth load and my laundry still smells great. The wool balls are still in the dryer. I let them hang out while I waited for the next load of laundry. I was worried about whether or not my darks would be covered in wool lint, a few reviews had me worried. I just dried my first load of darks and I'm happy to say that there is no wool lint on any of my daughter's clothing. I wouldn't have heard the end of it. 👤I like the scent of chamomile. It smells like baby soap. I don't like the smell of the Sweet Lullaby because it is more commercial. The scent is mild after the dryer. My son has a sensitive skin. The formula is very thin, which I like because it seems like it won't be sticky with a lot of build up, like other brands. This review is being updated. I tried a few more scents and they were all very thick. After a week, my washer was not working. I poured boiling water into the lines to try to get some of the softener out. It is thick and sticky. BenzisotHIAZOLINONE is a type of biocide that is linked to immune system toxicity and can cause irritation to skin, eyes, and lungs. It may be linked to brain cell damage and nerve damage. I don't purchase natural products that include these ingredients because they are not safe or "all-natural". I wouldn't have bought this product if they had given me complete information about all the ingredients. I was shocked when I read the ingredients on the package and couldn't believe I didn't see them on the online page. I went back to look at the list again. They were not listed under the ingredients, but I found several lines down from the list of ingredients that said "actual product packaging and materials may contain more and different information than what is shown on our website." We recommend that you always read the warnings and labels before using a product, and that you don't rely solely on the information presented. This is not accepted. They can't market their product as natural and then list only the ingredients that sound natural and safe, then make a footnote about some of the more controversial ingredients, and it's our responsibility to figure out where they are misleading us.
