Best Eco Friendly Floss Holder

👤I gave this product more than one star because it is trying to help solve America's addiction to disposable plastic products. I have been trying to convert as much of my personal care items as possible to sustainable and eco-friendly. I use disposable floss picks because of my hand-eye coordination issues. I've been looking for a non-disposable alternative to single use products that are wasteful and destructive. It would have been a great option if it held up as a flosser. It's easy to set up the floss for use, but it's not so easy to keep it in a straight line after being put between the teeth. This renders it useless. Whoever develops an eco-friendly flosser that is easy to use is going to rollin' in the dough.

The nylon-6 is not made from food waste. There are some organisms that can degrade plastic, but they can't degrade nylon 6. nylon 6 is known to be resistant to degradation in the natural environment. The nylon bristles are not small enough to be recycled on their own. You can put them in another plastic container if you pull them out with pliers. I was looking for a bamboo toothbrush that was made in the USA. I don't like that the seller allowed the incorrect answer to stand. I bought this item because of that answer. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a better lifestyle. I found the flossing picks to be quite durable, and in fact quite hard, but I think that's normal for a flossing pick. I like to use my flossing pick as long as I use my toothbrush, and they look to be strong enough to last that long. It's a good thing. The toothbrushes are comfortable. 👤I needed to floss one-handed because of an injured hand. I ordered the grip version of these and was sent the two-thread version instead. I decided to try them because I didn't have time to deal with returns or exchanges. This shape is not something I would recommend. I thought people were dramatic about the pointed end, but it is not and it makes it uncomfortable to hold in most positions. You can only hold and angle it one-handed with the double thread that must be inserted straight on. I think I have never disliked flossing more. There is a chance you will be sent the double thread anyway, so I would go with any shape.

👤I have never had dental picks with two strings in one pick. I like that. These are basically by degradable and recycling. I like the color black. I don't mind how thick these are. They are not as comfortable as the sliding flat gloss from big retailers. The 50 pics come with five really nice bamboo and nylon toothbrushes, which is a green alternative to plastic floss picks. It's a steal for the price. Extra toothbrushes for guests and to switch off every once in awhile with ourPhillips toothbrushes are things we love to do.

👤I have been looking for floss that is not made out of plastic, but is still good. The only floss I have found are the loose kinds. I don't know how to use them. I was looking for a pick that wouldn't snap when I use it. I have used flossing picks before, but these are the best I have ever used. I decided to pay more for something more eco-friendly because I was sick of using single-use plastic picks. PP Material is a non-recyclable, non-degradable, and not recyclable material. If The Humble Co cared about producing an eco-conscious product, they could easily substitute the bio-PP alternative. This product's deceptive marketing practices made me very disappointed. It's a great floss pick. They make their brand out to be, but I wish they were more transparent and eco-friendly. I will not buy from The Humble Co in the future.

👤Wow. I was expecting something that was ok for a zero-waste product, but this is the best floss I have ever used. I used plastic flossers to save my fingers from cuts, because my teeth are tight. I ordered this because the guilt I feel over every single one was too much. There is a The floss glides up and down between my teeth, but it has a lot of fiber to scrub away plaque. It is touching my fingers. I only need half the amount I would use of nylon floss because it is very strong and doesn't break. The cost of the refill is a bit less. As people become more aware of their waste, the cost will come down.

They sell products on Amazon with Prime Shipping so that means that packages have to be shipped all over the country with gas and vehicle wear costs factored in. So that means the 1% who say they will plant trees around the world is just a way to certify as a B-corp and skirt California tax laws. When an envelope would have sufficed, it arrived in a box that was many times larger. It was delivered by an independent contractor in a van. 👤I was not sure if the floss was durable. Since it's intended to break so it doesn't strangle wildlife, it's not as durable as nylon floss. I think this could be solved by using a thicker strand or braid. That should give a boost to the strength of the environment. I only experience issues with broken teeth on a few, I'm assuming they have a sharp edge on them that cuts the floss. Every other flossing will break the floss. If I ease up on how much force I use, it won't break, but I feel like it doesn't do a good job cleaning with that little force. The floss feels similar to Glide Pro Health. I have always recommended glide since it is so easy to get in between tight contacts, however I agree with some of the comments that glide leaves behind a lot of food andbacteria. It works well for people with open contacts and even works well for healthy adults.
