Best Eco Friendly K Cups Decaf

👤You can reuse your capsules. I like to poke my fingers in big corporations eyes. Coffee makers have a way to give you cheaper versions of the coffee, or allow you to create your own. It took 30 minutes for someone to figure out how to re-use the capsule that Nespresso spent a lot of money on. You can find many kits with aluminum labels that you can use to make your own coffee, if you search for it on Amazon. I saved all the aluminum Pods that were removed from the old top after buying 3 or 4 boxes of these. 3 other vendors sell cheap aluminum foil tops. I refill the pods every few weeks. It takes 45 seconds per Pod. My coffee is 10X better than theirs and I save a lot of money.

👤I love Chock Full o'Nuts. I have been drinking coffee for a long time. Schmuck from Chock Full o'Nuts decided that they were going to do a complete overhaul on this coffee. They changed the color of the Pods from Green to Red. This new recipe is so bad. It tasted like dirty dishwasher water. I don't know what dirty dishwasher water tastes like. I can see that it is close in comparison. Fix something if it isn't broken. The original flavor was amazing. The original recipe should be brought back. This was the only coffee I would drink. I'm looking for a new coffee again. This isn't the first time a Coffee Company has changed their process for the worse. I will never buy this coffee again unless they bring back the original recipe. I am very disappointed. Please don't let this review stop you from buying this. Everyone has their own taste. This review is my opinion and experience.

👤You can't beat this coffee. For the past 18 years, I have eaten plenty of coffee, most of it was too strong, bitter, and only good for waking you up, but I still drink it. A guy who worked for me used to brag about Chock Full o'Nuts all the time. He was from Brooklyn and we never paid attention to him. I saw they made the K-cups and wanted to try them out. I am happy I did. I have had the best K-cup coffee I have ever had, and a few other people have also switched to Chock Full o'Nuts. I can't go back to anything else now that I have had this. I used to put sugar and creamer in my coffee, but now you don't need it in this coffee. It's perfect in a cup.

The flavors of this brand are so much stronger than the other that they just taste weak and watered down compared to this. If I'm going to drink a cup of coffee there's no reason to waste my time with brown water, so I have 40 - 50 other brands on my shelf. Chock Full o'Nuts has made me very happy. Midtown is a good blend for the morning.

👤Our latest boxes of Chock Full o' Nuts Original Pods no longer have the heavenly aroma and flavor that we loved. It was a loss. I loved the SoHo Morning coffee so much that I was drinking it through July 2021. I would consider it an altogether different blend, even if it was identified by the green & black Pod label. I think it would have been better to have left SoHo Morning as it was, and introduce the new blend with its own name. The Original blend of Chock Full o' Nuts has been consistently excellent for decades, so they know how to keep it that way. I will not be buying SoHo Morning anymore if they don't bring back the blend they sold earlier this year. There is a I was delighted to discover SoHo Morning Pods, which had the same amazing flavor in a milder form, and I have been drinking Chock Full o' Nuts Original for decades. The milder version made me think of the old TV commercial, where a person says "this really is heavenly coffee." I had been ordering the SoHo Morning Pods from Amazon for a long time, but things changed when I received them in August of 2021. The box and foil pouch were the same as before, but the labels on thepods had changed from red and black to green and black with just the company name and no mention of the blend. There is a Coffee made from these newer Pods tasted different than before, with a darker, stronger, a bit bitter, and lacking many of the distinctive flavors that had previously made this blend so exceptional. I bought a few more boxes in case the change was just a manufacturing glitch, and got more of the same diminished coffee. I filled out a contact form at the Chock Full o' Nuts website, but got an error when I clicked submit. I called the toll free number on the box and was connected to a third party answering service. They promised to convey my concerns to the coffee company, and to ask the company to contact me. Replacement coffee was also offered. It took almost six weeks and a second call to get a single box to replace the three boxes I returned, and I still have not heard from the coffee company about the quality issues I reported. The replacement coffee sent directly from the coffee company has the same flavor and quality issues as the coffee I bought at retail and returned, and the complete absence of any company response to my multiple reports of these quality issues, I think this is the direction the company has taken. There is a My expectations were set by Chock Full o' Nuts Original, a brand that I would expect from a premium brand. SoHo Morning is vastly different from what it was just a few months ago, and I think it's a different blend. I think it would have been better if the company had decided it was good enough to stand on its own. SoHo Morning won't be buying me anymore. I will be checking on things periodically to see if the company brings back the star product it had. There is a I have been experimenting with getting a milder brew with the Chock Full o' Nuts Original Pods, they still have the heavenly flavor they are known for. Poking a small hole in the center of the Pod label and shaking out a third of the grounds is tedious, but gets me close to what I had in SoHo Morning, at least until I find a better approach.

👤I saw a bunch of reviews mentioning issues with thepods from last year and assumed it was the past. This assumption was a poor one, as thepods are very hit or miss, and when they miss it is a rather large mess. The coffee was very good when thepods would comply. I don't want to clean up a mess when I'm not having coffee because I rely on liquid gold to keep me going. Disappointed. I'm still looking for a good amount of coffee.

👤I was not happy with the coffee. It is advertised as a dark roast coffee, but I have had bolder medium roast coffee. I like my coffee bolder so that it has a bit of a bitter bite and a smooth finish. I had to use two Pods to brew it in the same mug so that it was the same strength as any other dark roast I've ever bought. The coffee is good, fresh, and has a smooth finish, but it's missing the "bite" of boldness that dark roast drinkers enjoy. I swirled the coffee around on my tongue trying to find the "bold, smokey flavor with a smooth finish" but I could mostly just get a hint of coffee flavor like I get when someone gives me a light or medium roast. I feel bad leaving this review, but I'm just being honest, taste is very subjective and can vary from person to person. I'm sure the beans are of good quality. They needed to be roasted a bit longer to release the essential oils that go into making a dark roast.

I have found out that a Double Donut Hazelnut Decaf label on a box of Maple French Toast doesn't turn the contents of that box into Double Donut Hazelnut Decaf coffee. Maybe if you put the sticker on the right side up, the magic would have worked. I would like to know if Maple French Toast coffee tastes like Double Donut Decaf, but I only drink decaf coffee.

When a KCup fails in this way, it jams the grounds into the needle that allows water to flow through. Even with a quality KCup, the Keurig couldn't function. I had to disassemble the cup holder to get the machine to work again. A lot of time was wasted. The coffee tasted ok, even though I tried to avoid the grounds. It's not worth the risk of a big mess and a malfunctioning K-cup. There are other brands of KCups that are the same price as the one that is supposed to work. Look for them.

👤I have a single-serve coffee maker that accepts loose coffee, tea bags, and K-cups. I mostly use the tray for the K-cups, but I've never had a problem with any of the cups I've ordered from different companies. I've tried every cup from the Roast Ridge collection and it's ruined my coffeemaker. Coffee grounds go everywhere once the hot water starts entering the cup, but the cup sits down in the cup-holder just fine with a snap. I've tried peeling the top off the cup and dumping it into the loose coffee tray for my coffee maker, but the grounds still seem to be in the tray, leaving a mess to clean up. The structure of these cups is the same as the other k-cups, but I believe the problem is with the size of the coffee grounds, it's too finely ground, causing the grinds to form a paste that prevents the water from flowing through.

This one was decent, but don't normally do a lot of flavors in coffees. 13 The Green Mountain Medium Blend is ok. Tully has a Hawaiian blend. Gloria Jean's - Butter Toffee. Laughing Man Roast. Not the greatest. 19 Getting into the bad ones is now Krispy Kreme Smooth. I used to think their coffee was new, but now it's pre-olded. It tastes like coffee. 20. I think this one is gross. It might be the worst coffee I've ever had. I drank a couple of sips before throwing the rest out. It tastes like maple syrup. I'm ordering the top 5 so that I can have a variety from day to day. It will be the good ones. The adventure of this variety pack was enjoyable. It's well worth the money, and it will give you a lot of variety from day to day. I was only trying K-cups 1-by-1 before this. If I didn't like one, it was taking forever. I was stuck with it until I ran out. This variety back was amazing. It's worth noting that mine came with 2 of each. Some of the reviews here say that some were missing or mixed up. Maybe they have gotten better at quality control. I was just lucky. There is a Hope this is helpful to someone else.

👤This is not a flavoured coffee, it is an instant cappuccino. I looked for ingredients before I ordered and the site currently lists the only ingredient as Arabica coffee. I attached a picture of the actual ingredients, which include an artificial sweetener and many other ingredients in addition to Instant Coffee. This pack is similar to a tasters choice or frongers pack. We ran it through our keurig and the ingredients in the cup didn't get moistened, so we stopped the water from going through. Not sure what happened. It is a brand new machine and has worked well with everything else. You want to make an informed decision.

If you're like me, you want something that tastes like coffee, but doesn't cost an arm and leg for your coffee maker. This is a good coffee that is strong and has good flavor and aroma. 👤I can live with most of the coffees that I have tried. This one is not coffee at all. It has a coffee flavor. I am going to cut into the Pod to see what is inside. It is Arabica Beans according to the Pod. I can assure you that the coffee produced from these Pods is not close to Arabica beans coffee. The cheapest, decent rated coffee Pod on Amazon was the per Pod cost. If you have tried coffee from other providers, please go for something that is real.

👤This is really good coffee, that's what the one star review says. I've been buying this coffee at the rate of 2 cases a month for a long time, and I really enjoy the flavor and aroma. There were a lot of grounds left in my coffee cup. I assumed that I had just received a faulty cup, and lived with the grounds. The foil seal on almost every serving in the box was leaking during the brewing process. I didn't think it was a big deal, as things happen. It's obviously a significant quality control issue, and nearly every serving leaks grounds significantly during the brew process. The foil top has a bad seal. I went to the K-Cups because they were quicker, simpler, cleaner, and less wasteful than the regular coffee pot. Oh my gosh. Nope! Not any more. There are three straight cases where nearly every cup was faulty. I'm done.

Quality controls are implemented because of that. If you want to raise the price, you should take it from a 30-year professional. We received 99 coffee beans and wouldn't want to ask for a refund. 👤I wanted to drink this coffee. I like a light breakfast blend and switched to decaf. I ignored the reviews that it was weak because people compare coffee to Starbucks. The coffee is so weak that I can not give it more than two stars. I will keep looking for a good decaf, but this isn't it. I wish I didn't have that many cups.

👤I wish I would have taken the negative reviews more seriously when they said that the coffee was weak and didn't smell like coffee. I thought they were coffee snobs. I'm pretty easy to please, but this coffee is basically water with a slight coffee taste and there is no great coffee scent. I am going back to coffee in San Francisco Bay.

👤I was confused by the good reviews. I am not a coffee snob, but my k-cups are very watered down and look like tea. The coffee flavor is so strong that there is no flavor left. Don't waste your money, I might have a bad batches. I have a box of k-cups that I can't use. I used them for 2 weeks and thought it was just one.

👤Amazon brand products are usually fine. These are not. I can't quite put my finger on the funny taste they have. Maybe it's the "light roast" or maybe it's a lousy manufacturer. This is one of the worst coffees I've had. The original K-cups were so weak that they were like drinking colored water. Sanka is worse than everyone else.

It's better than good. The light is perfect and the dark and French are too strong for me. We have been going to Green Mountain for almost two years. The flavor of our coffee seems better than most ground coffee that we buy. I try to not pay a lot of money for convenience. I've been buying generic. If I want a really good cup of coffee, I buy it at a coffee shop. Coffee at home needs to be easy to use and not bad. It's available to help get us through the day. We bought fresh beans for the french press. For a long time, I used an espresso machine. Simpler is better for us. This coffee works well for us. The price is correct. The taste is pleasant for our tastes. It has enough energy to get us through the day. I've been able to find it on k-cups, but it's a better non-sale price if you subscribe and save. It's on a regular basis here. It is a good coffee at a good price.
