Biokleen Free & Clear uses a formula that works great in High Efficiency and standard washers, and is gentle on sensitive skin. Laundry products from Biokleen are concentrated to reduce packaging and waste. Get sharper looking clothes. The stain fighting power of oxygen bleach lightens whites and colors. It doesn't leave a mark on fabrics. Biokleen products are made in the USA and never tested on animals.

👤The way our grandparents did things was the same. This stuff has rules. It's simple, economical, has minimal plastic packaging that can at least be reuse or recycled before "recycling" (sorry to burst your hippie bubble, but very little of what goes into recycle bins actually gets averted from landfill), the box takes up way less room than liquid detergent bottles This has an A rating on EWG.org, which is a nonpartisan research group that analyzes all sorts of data, including ingredients of consumer goods, which are rated based on how healthy things are for humans and the environment. There is a I usually wash my clothes with cold water in a front-loading washer, and I have no problems with the clumps because I sprinkle the powder inside the drum on top of my clothes. If you put it in the compartment that is meant for liquid detergent, it will clump. I add a small amount of distilled white vinegar to every load. There is a Sometimes I shed a tear because I miss the smell of Gain and Tide and Bounce. I think about how sewage is minimally processed by wastewater treatment plants, then dumped into our rivers, bays, oceans, etc etc, and I snap out of it. It's time to smell the future. Thank you, Biokleen.

👤Most eco-detergents get a grade of C or D from the Environmental Working Group, but they don't work very well. Two exceptions are Bio-Kleen and Planet, both of which receive a grade of A and actually work. I use both Bio-Kleen powder and Planet because we have a HE washer and Bio-Kleen foams/suds if you use too much. Planet doesn't make suds. There is a The test for eco-detergents is cloth diapering. I've been using this regimen for a year in my mountain. My cotton prefolds and hemp inserts come out clean as a whistle after drinking well water with high levels of calcium and magnesium salts. I use coconut oil on the baby's bottom and lanolized wool covers to get those oils out of the cotton and hemp. It's important to note for hard water. If you want to use a non-toxic, eco-detergent and you have hard water, you will need to add in a hard water treatment to your wash. Non-precipitating water conditioners are the only ones that work in the long run. I've been playing with the idea of adding 1/2 - 1 cup of vinegar or 10% citric acid solution to the rinse compartment to remove mineral deposits and make fabric softer. I don't know if the hard water deposits will be controlled by a single rinse, but it seems to be enough for some people. Calgon is a water softener, but it isn't a miracle for me - I'm not 100% sure how well the new formula works, it contains synthetic polymer and zeolites, and it has an unclear safety profile. Unless you use non-precipitating water softeners, you should be aware that borax and washing soda can cause mineral salts on your fabrics. The problem with borax is that it is toxic to humans. STTP and EDTA are approved for use as food Additives. I make a gallon of solution at a time by adding 100 g of citric acid per liter of water. I use my mediocre front loading washer to load a load that fills up 1/3 of the washer. Pre-soak prefolds and inserts in hot water in several 5 gallon buckets for 1 - 2 hours. This removes mineral build-up on fibers. It also removes odors. The water is softened to prevent and remove mineral deposits. After soaking, dump the water and load the washer to remove excess liquid. There are two more To remove remaining poo + urine, 1/2 to 1 scoop biokleen + 1 tbsp STTP, you need to wash on warm water. Heavy duty hot wash with biokleen and extra rinse. The final warm water light wash should be used to remove residual detergent and alkali. I add 1 cup of vinegar or 1/2 cup of citric acid solution to this in the detergent slot to help remove hard water mineral build up and make sure the diaper's pH is back to neutral or just slightly acidic which human skin does fine with. There is a I wish I had an old fashioned non HE washer or a better one. Most HE washers don't use enough water to wash cloth diapering situations. I know that Love University doesn't do extra rinses, but that's rubbish. I left out the final rinse a few times and that is the only time that a contact rash appeared on the baby's bottom. I added the extra rinse back in and it went away. As long as you keep the mineral deposits in check, you can do some extra rinses without creating more of a mineral build-up on the fibers in the long run. If you ever need to strip your diapers, I would recommend soaking in a very strong de-greaser like dawn in very hot water for 3-6 hours, and then using a plunger. Adding Bac- Out which helps too, is also possible if you use a bathtub or big bucket. This gets rid of gunk. Then you can follow this with a soak in hot water for 3-6 hours. Hard water mineral deposits and soap scum are removed. If you have soft water, stripping will probably work, even if you have an acid soak. There is a Hope this is useful. It took some trial and error to figure it out.

Brand: Love Home And Planet

👤I received Love Home Planet lavender and argan oil laundry detergent. I've done 3 loads of laundry so far, with a load of jeans, a load of gym clothes, and a load of sheets/duvet covers. The detergent is very concentrated. I used less than a capful for each of the three loads, and everything smelled clean. The packaging is made of mostly recycled materials. Reducing the impact on Mother Earth is a huge plus. I was not surprised that this product was rated a D on the EWG website, as it was heavy in fragrance and has a non-specified substance in it. I think that the company is moving towards eco-friendly manufacturing, natural ingredients, etc. It still has a long way to go. As a mom that takes great efforts to provide only non-toxic products andholistic solutions for her family, this one is unacceptable. I will enjoy the break from my homemade laundry detergent, but I will not purchase it again.

👤This soap has a sulfate. I won't recommend. It does a great job, but I love the smell.

👤It is a new year. I am trying new cleaning products. I usually use liquid and or Pod forms of detergent. Both clean well but leave 888-353-1299 Kent mentioned how much he loved this detergent in a candle review. I decided to try it. I was hoping to find something that would clean my clothes and make them smell better. The lavender scent is great. The bottle contains enough for 53 medium loads. The liquid is thick and concentrated. The bottles were upright in the tightly packed box. I used as directed in my front loading machine. All my loads were small. I washed the jeans on cold for the first load. The jeans were clean and smelling great. My dog vomited on a towel and blanket that was in the second load. The blanket/towel are now clean and smelling great. All whites were in my final load. There was a grease stain on one of the shirts. I pretreated it with a little detergent. I only use Love Home and Planet detergent to see if it will remove the grease stain from my whites, because I usually add Oxyclean with my white load. The grease stain did a good job on the whites. I like how adding Oxy increases the whiteness. There is a Some reviewers think this is expensive. I think the price point is the same as buying without a coupon. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy again. I'm looking forward to trying this brands fabric softener and clothes refresher.

👤The small bottle is very concentrated. I only use half a capful and it lasted all month. There was no reaction on sensitive skin. Cleans well. It smells great. I will be using this laundry soap for the rest of my life.

3. Gain Laundry Detergent Original Compatible

Gain Laundry Detergent Original Compatible

Gain Original is a refreshing scent that comes from the brilliant cleaning performance of liquid laundry detergent. It smells great because it cleans up. 6 weeks of freshness from the wash. Start water, add Gain, then add clothes. Don't allow children to reach you. It's not recommended that the surfaces are leather. It smells great because it cleans up. It works in all washing machines. Keep away from children.

Brand: Gain

👤I wanted to refill my container. I looked in the bottom of the jug to see if there was anything left that would not come out. I poured the screw driver into one of the tops to measure how much was going to be thrown away. It was enough for a lot of laundry. I'm not very happy about it. I know this has a lot to do with their packaging, but still, it is a waste of money and makes me upset. How many times have I thrown out the jug and not looked to see if there was anything left? This happened with the jugs that were in the shipment. Make sure you look in your empty containers to make sure you don't throw away your money.

👤My son loves the scent of Gain Detergent and the clean feeling of his clothes. There is a My son decided to try it because we are both allergic to perfumed laundry detergent. He went to find out. There is a He wants to test everything he was allergic to in the city now that he lives in the mountains. There is a He has been using "Gain Detergent" for over a year and has not had any itching or rash. I don't know if it was the environment or his life style change. There is a We lived in the house for over a decade. I stayed for medical reasons and he stayed for safety reasons. Hearing gun shots, police sirens, fire engines, grown men and woman fighting over juvenile situations in public is not something that should happen. There is a Our little city has turned into a city of misfits, people who don't speak English, and people who don't have a reason to live here. There is a This has to do with Gain Detergent. Your brain controls how your body responds to stress, pollution, and other factors. There is a My son lives 20 miles into the woods and he is very happy and enjoys his new life. There is a Both of us have the same panic anxiety disorder. I just want to know that "Gain Detergent" is the #1 brand and that "Red" is the #2 brand. People with allergies can't use Gain. I will buy your products for others, but you can't please everyone. I have to move. My friends and family love the product that Amazon has.

👤The two bottles of Gain detergent that I received were very thin, like they had been watered down and placed back in the bottle. I have to use more of the product to do laundry. I will not be ordering from this seller again.

👤These were very wet. Not like the ones you get at the store.

👤The president of a dog rescue said that bringing new dogs into the home can sometimes mean a lot of urine to clean up.

👤"If its gotta be clean its gotta be tide" is a phrase that has always gotten rid of my stains and dirt.

4. ECOSNextTM Liquidless Laundry Detergent Squares

ECOSNextTM Liquidless Laundry Detergent Squares

100% plastic-free! This product is free from all plastic components. 1 load of laundry is equal to 1 Laundry Detergent Square. Just throw it in. 100% plastic-free, liquidless, and powderless. No more bottles of laundry detergent. It uses nature'sidases to lift dirt and stains. Liquidless detergent sheets are completely dissolvable and packaging is 100% recyclable. A Dermatologist tested it. They promise to never use any of the nasty ingredients in the formula.

Brand: Ecos

👤The packages say made in China, when in fact they are made in the USA.

👤I love these laundry sheets. They came with 2 boxes that were wrapped in plastic film. I am trying to reduce my plastic waste, but I would like to see the company stop using the plastic wrap. The brand was the most economical of the bunch. I use what I have, but only a few cents per load. The rest of the packaging is a box. I will attach some pictures of my test load. I tried it on the dirtiest thing I have. I have a bunny who pees next to his litter box. I got bed pads to protect the floor. Below is a shot of how sudsy the sheet got. I only used one sheet. It works the same as the other stuff. I was using. I didn't take the test because I wanted to see how well it worked. I will be using these from now on. I hope the plastic can be removed someday.

👤If the boxes come wrapped up in plastic, what is the point of buying a plastic free laundry detergent?

👤1. I thought I would give the sheets a try, because I love Ecos liquid laundry detergent. The sheets stick to the side of the washer. They leave a mark on my clothing. I have used other laundry detergent sheets. 2. Liquid Ecos is made in the USA, but the sheets are made in China.

👤Laundry detergent is a major contributor to the bad water issues. I decided to try this for the clean water and plastic issues. Good sign, came in a box. It was dissolved in the wash, another good sign. I am not sure how they would work for super dirty clothing. I have dog blankets and they came out clean. I'm digging them.

👤I was ready to fall in love with this product. The first wash went well. The window in the front of my car had a white, sticky mass on it after the wash and cold rinse, and more was stuck to the wet clothing. It took some work to clean it up. It was the same load as the first time, but still too much to tolerate. I have a recent model front-loading machine that uses one sheet, a normal sized load, placed on top of the load and then started according to directions. I returned the product for a refund because I don't know what's going wrong. Very disappointing. I don't see any other people with this experience yet, so I may have gotten an "off" batches. It's a great idea and worth trying.

👤The idea of minimal packaging and no plastic excited me. It's not messy since it's not powder nor liquid. There is a My laundry smells terrible. Likes it to be dirty. I have to use bleach to get rid of the smell. I don't want to use bleach in every load. It leaves a funky gummy substance that can only be described as a kind of washing machine slime on one or two items in each load, most likely the clothes closest to the detergent sheet. I have to soak them in the sink to get them off. It says it can be used at any temperature, but the cold water clothes smell worse. I only used half of the box, but I'm throwing the rest away and going to something else.

5. Biokleen Concentrated Eco Friendly Plant Based Preservatives

Biokleen Concentrated Eco Friendly Plant Based Preservatives

There is a plant-based gardener. The cleaning agents used by Biokleen are plant-derived and leave your clothes fresh and clean. For use in high EFFICIENCY washing machines. High Efficiency washers work great with Biokleen. It leaves a fresh scent on your clothes and fabrics. Laundry products from Biokleen are 3X concentrated to reduce packaging and waste. The liquid laundry soaps from Biokleen are plant-based and eco-friendly. Their products do not contain chlorine, ammonia, orphosphates. Biokleen products are made in the USA and never tested on animals.

Brand: Biokleen

👤I love this detergent. It goes a long way for skin and the environment. It's more cost efficient than regular detergent, even the cheaper brands, because you only have to use a small amount of liquid per wash. The scent doesn't linger on the clothes. It gets the laundry done and I'm not worried about stuff not coming out.

👤It works well and doesn't kill the environment at the same time. There is a It is a shame that you have to be wealthy to do the right thing.

👤This does get a lot of work done, it smells nice in the bottle. My clothes smelled like dirty socks even though they looked clean. It may work better if scented crystals are in the washer and dryer sheets. That defeats the purpose of trying to find something more clean.

👤I've bought this product before. I love it for my delicates and hand washing. It's gentle and my clothes come out smelling great. I follow the directions and never put too many items in the washer. I shake and smooth out thewrinkles when I take each article of clothing out of the washer. I don't want to treat like my towels or socks. The delicates and hand-hygiene items are not put in the dryer.

👤I like the smell of this detergent and keep coming back to it. Pretreating stains is still necessary, but it does great at removing dirt and odors. I fill the smallest bottle from a larger bottle because it is easier to handle.

👤I love biokleen. I like their ethics and have never had an issue with their products.

👤I use this on clothes we wear. To get it to work even better, I add 1/3 cup of Borax to a large load. There are clothes that are safe to wear.

👤I've been enjoying it. It's tough for my boys clothes if you run them onto a stain. It's good enough for my clothes. I add some borax to the bottom of my front loader to make it easier to clean. There is a You only have to use half a cap.

6. Seventh Generation Detergent Concentrated EasyDose

Seventh Generation Detergent Concentrated EasyDose

It's easy to store and feel good about using Ultra-concentrated laundry detergent, which has 66 loads in a 23oz bottle. Every time, their easy dose auto dosing technology measures the right amount. Just flip the bottle, and you're done. One squeeze is all you need. A small dose, big clean: less plastic, less water, and 75% lighter than their bottle. Even the most stubborn stains are fought by their advanced-enzyme formula. It was made with artificial brighteners.

Brand: Seventh Generation

👤I've been using Seventh Generation laundry detergent for a decade. I've been pleased to see the bottle getting smaller over the years and I was happy to see the new compact bottle which creates less waste. I thought I had gone through it quicker after using one bottle completely. I was going to measure how much the Easy Dose cap was measuring out. The bottle says that one squeeze will give you a 10.3mL dose, for a total of 66 loads per bottle. I squeezed a 15 mL dose every time. I'm only getting 45 loads per bottle. I measure out my detergent instead of using the easy dose cap, which is annoying but not a dealbreaker. It's still an excellent detergent in a concentrated form. The quality of the detergent has not changed. Still does a great job of getting our clothes clean.

👤This product is great. Why? It uses plant-based detergents and still gets my family's clothes cleaner than any other detergent we've tried, it is easy to use, and it does not irritate skin. If I could, I would give six stars. 7th Gen!

👤The EasyDose cap seemed easy at first, but the more I use it, the less certain it is. The muscleheads in my family can easily fill the detergent compartment without batting an eye, which leads to sudsy towels and decreased savings for the planet and my bank account. I would have to practice over a bowl to get a feel for how the EasyDose cap works. It's easier to just eyeball a small amount of the stuff and have my family do the same. Overall, a nice idea, but not a fool-proof execution.

👤The easy dose feature is the best feature that anyone has come up with. I stumbled across it on Amazon last year. I've used at least 7 bottles of this and never had a problem. My husband can do a load of laundry without thinking. You squeeze the bottle until it stops. The lavender scent in my house was too strong for me to tolerate. It's just my preference. My husband and son have sensitive skin and neither of them had any skin irritation from the lavender scent or the free and clear one. This product is in my subscribe and save and will stay there until it's no longer available. It's become a staple in my home.

👤I try to use seventh generation products. I was using a detergent that was scent free, but the packaging was so wasteful. I was happy to see this come in a concentrated form. The nozzle does it for you, you don't have to measure the detergent. It's not as messy as using a cap or powder. Great product!

👤This stuff is terrible. I used I for the first time tonight and even though I used a double dose of wash my shirts still smell of sweat in the armpits, and none of them were heavily soiled either. I am sending it back for a refund tomorrow because it is overpriced.

7. Dreft Stage Hypoallergenic Detergent Packaging

Dreft Stage Hypoallergenic Detergent Packaging

It's specially formulated for active babies. It is hypoallergenic. It is possible to clean hard water with the help of a water softener. 99% of baby food stains can be removed. Grass and crawling stains can be removed. Measure with a cap. Use more for loads that are very dirty. Add detergent and add clothes. It was recommended by Pampers. Dreft products can be used with any kind of washing machine. High Efficiency and standard washers are included.

Brand: Dreft

👤I bought dreft for 10 months for my baby because I loved the scent. I have been buying stage 2 for a while now and I was happy that the scent did not change. I washed my baby clothes and bed sheets after I stocked up and realized the scent has changed. I thought I had a bad bottle, but I did some research and found out that the scent has changed permanently and is now an awful scent. Its a strong scent and a nedicated one. I am sad by the scent change. I will be buying a new detergent for my baby. Bring back the original sketch. I wrote this review in June after I was disappointed in the new scent of baby detergent and was looking for a new one. I found one. If you are looking for the baby scent, please buy baby all detergent. I added a post for all the parents that were disappointed when the formula was changed.

👤I'm surprised a product for children has a strong perfume smell. It's pretty gross. Disappointed. I can't comment on its efficiency as a cleaning product because I can't get past the perfume stink. I hope someone will take it, and I will give it away.

👤I can't believe Dreft changed the scent into something so fragrant. It's AWFUL. Just why? I won't be buying anymore.

👤Can we just talk about the smell of a baby for a second? This is it! It's one of my favorite smells. It's very easy to be allergic to. My son has a serious condition that doesn't flare him up. They sell it in a two pack. I don't have to worry about it for a while. I've used Dreft for all of my children, so you should take my word for it. Ha!

👤I just opened a bottle. The new scent is bad. I can't understand why they would change the smell. I still use it because it's a good stain fighter and I love the smell, even though my child isn't a baby anymore. I came here to look at other reviews and they are not all good. I won't be buying anymore until they change it back to the original scent. I received a message from Dreft and they are sending me a gift card to try out their products. That's nice of them. Buying 2 products instead of 1 is not a long-term solution for me.

👤I opened the box to see that the containers were leaking. I use this product to get those tough stains out of my clothes. Stage 2 doesn't come in a bigger container. It's good except for that. It's disappointing that I spend so much money to have it open for me.

👤I had a patch test done because of my skin problems. I have an allergy to an ingredient in Seventh Generation and Dreft. I was skeptical about buying this because it is meant for babies and toddlers. It is the best smelling laundry detergent I have ever used. I wish I had known about it a long time ago. I take the clothes out of the wash and smell them. Thought it would smell like baby powder, but it isn't. It has a pleasant smell. There is a It works just as well as other laundry detergents and is gentle on my clothes. It is gentle on my skin. All Free and Clear was too harsh for me. If you have the same skin issues, give this a try. Don't use it if you don't. It's the best detergent ever.

8. Seventh Generation Liquid Laundry Concentrate

Seventh Generation Liquid Laundry Concentrate

Biokleen products are made in the USA and never tested on animals. It is designed for standard and HE machines. Natural laundry detergent is notirritating to the skin. everyday stubborn stains can be lifted by the use of enzymes. No optical brighteners. There are no dyes or synthetic fragrances.

Brand: Seventh Generation

👤We tried out this detergent because I wanted to steer our family away from chemicals. I have been faithfully using Tide for years, but it was steered away from us by a nutritionist expert. This detergent is doing what I want it to. Who knows what to do with our bodies down the long haul when we are cleaning and protecting our sensitive skin from harsh chemicals? The design of the packaging and the pouring of the product was thought out. Great job! I think this is going to be a long relationship.

👤It is likely to spill. I hope you have a good experience with your packaging. My box was a generic brown one with 4 layers of plastic in it. There is spillage everywhere.

👤My husband has very dry skin and all of the products we tried gave him itching. This has helped alleviate the pain. It doesn't cure the condition, but it helps to alleviate any additional pain for him.

👤I've been very pleased with the results since discovering Seventh Generation. I used Era before buying this brand because of my sensitive skin, but I stopped buying a sale brand because of that. There is a Maybe it's a skin condition. There's no itching for me with Seventh Generation, maybe it's an allergy to some of the old fashioned chemicals in the other detergents, but that's the cause. I was torn between buying the 50-oz bottle that was the norm and getting the super-size bottle. The small bottle fits on top of my narrow high-rise washer/dryer, so the lid doesn't open or close. I decided to refill the large bottle since I had a 50-oz bottle on hand. I put the large bottle in the pantry after removing the cap. This was the correct choice for me.

👤I use this product because it is safe to use with my washing machine. The delivery of this product was a mess. I ordered some laundry jugs. Thank you to the person who sealed the bottle. Most of the detergent was lost when the other jug was not used. I was so upset because we are tight on our budget. I kept the jug after rinsing it off.

👤I have reviewed laundry detergent for a couple of years. The one that came up high was this one. Very economical and ecological, clear detergent. I have been using this for many years, but I can't remember when I switched.

👤It's great for sensitive skin because it has less harmful things in it. Not having any perfume is a plus. Will keep using it. I clean my husband's clothes.

👤I've never tried a "green" laundry deterg, but I'm happy. I've used it for whites with bleach and for towels with hot water. All came out clean. The gloves were dirty from the outside of the car. I washed 7th Gen whites with bleach. The 7th Gen glove was cleaner than the oxy-treated one. The stain didn't wash in general wash even though 7th Gen got it out when directly applied. It worked well, didn't smell at all, and BOTTLE didn't stink like others have complained. On arrival, packaging was perfect.

9. Earth Breeze Fragrance Laundry Sheets

Earth Breeze Fragrance Laundry Sheets

Earth Breeze will clean just as well as leading brand detergent. Eco sheets were made for sensitive skin. This means they are free of many harmful substances. Save a lot. There is space. The plastic jugs are large. You can fit 12 packs of Earth Breeze in the same space. Laundry jugs take up to 1000 years to break down, so don't waste it. They contain up to 90% water. Earth Breeze uses the water from the machine to break down the sheets. The Earth Breeze package is so lightweight and compact that you will reduce your carbon footprint by simply changing to a lighter detergent. Eco sheets are fragrance free and have no scent. It's perfect for sensitive skin. Half a sheet for regular load and 1 sheet for full load, when the drum is not half full, and 2 sheets for extra-full load, when the drum is full.

Brand: Earth Breeze

👤Okay... I ordered a package of detergent to test your product. It arrived quickly. The packaging was all made from renewable resources. The scent that was coming from the package was similar to the bug sprays I have used before. Bad Ju Ju... I was going to return the product. My wife told me to try it on some of our dirty rags. The individual sheets of laundry detergent were not as bad smelling when I opened the container. I put in 1 1/2 sheets of laundry paper because the rags were dirty and I had to fill the washer with hot water to soak them. The sheets of detergent were absorbed into the liquid. Impressive... I put the rags in the dryer after washing them. There was no strong odor or clean rags. I smelled the rags when they were done drying. They were clean and had a pleasant scent. So... I will subscribe to get more of this product. That's correct... The scent of a complete package of detergent sheets might be a bit overwhelming. Before you decide whether you like them or not, try them out. I put the package in a zip lock bag. They don't look at the whole cabinet. They are kept in a store. I will reuse the zip lock bag. Many times. I am still eco friendly. GIT R DUN...

👤I was excited to try them. 60 loads was advertised. Only 30 sheets in a pack are read in the instructions.

👤When your company makes a product in China and then ships it thousands of miles, you don't get to call it eco friendly. I don't trust the ingredients of any cleaning/beauty products in China, and at this price point there is no reason it can't be manufactured in a more regulated location.

👤Earth Breeze doesn't clean laundry. It has a pleasant scent in the package, but no scent on the laundry. The laundry is a little less dirty than it was when it arrived. I tried using 2 and 3 laundry sheets in a load of laundry with slight changes in scent, but no difference in the laundry's quality. Do not purchase this product if you want to decrease the size of your carbon footprint. Just wash your laundry without detergent and save money. You will get the same results. This product doesn't clean laundry.

👤The packaging is not legit. You get 30 sheets if it says 60 loads, but only one sheet for a normal load. You are getting half what you pay for. I haven't tried them yet, but they work great.

👤They have good reviews on their website so I was eagerly waiting to try this product. It did not meet my expectations. The sheets didn't stick and the clothes didn't look washed.

👤A shirt was ruined. A square spot on the clothing was bleached because the sheet didn't dissolved correctly. You should look closely at the picture. The outline of the sheet is on the clothing.

👤This is easy and it has less waste than normal laundry detergents. My only complaint is that my husband's clothes still smelled bad after 3 washes. I'm going to look at more brands.

10. Tide Laundry Detergent Eco Box Original

Tide Laundry Detergent Eco Box Original

The package is the same great Tide. The packaging is made with less plastic. There is more power cleaning per drop. There is nophosphate-free. It's easy to use the No-Drip tap. Formula is made with renewable wind power. Works in all machines.

Brand: Tide

👤I bought the detergent box because I am interested in the cost and materials savings, which is better for the planet and my pocketbook. The box was ripped in multiple places and the product was exposed when it arrived. Amazon had to over-box it with another box, defeating the point of shipping it as-is and reducing packaging. The box of Tide arrived with a label on it addressed to me, the same as the one on the outer Amazon box. The boxes can't survive the internal Amazon handling and the last point of delivery had to add a second box. The box was supposed to have a fancy stand that would allow the cup to be inserted underneath, but it was broken by the rough handling. There is a The failed box has a powerful detergent inside. It gets my clothes clean. I have to force myself not to use too much because it feels small compared to non-concentrated products. My powder detergent is more economical than shipping liquid across the country, and the liquid enzymes in the Tide provide a better stain removal than the one in my powder detergent. There is a The whole point of this new product was to provide a new, innovative, e-commerce package that P&G and Amazon supposedly worked on together. They needed more testing in actual warehouses. We're not there yet.

👤This is not an alternative to buying detergent in a plastic jug. The product is packed in a large box with plastic air bags that are not recyclable. Shrink wrapped in plastic, the Tide box is not recyclable. The bag that holds the soap is plastic. The nozzle can't be recycled. It's messy, apart from all of that. It's a chore to squeeze out all of the soap in that bag. I have never spilled soap in plastic jugs. Which can be recycled. Don't bother with it. You can recycle empty detergent jugs.

👤I think it may be watered down. This 105oz box is equivalent to a 150oz container, they claim. They can print anything they want on the box. I know that's not doable. I can get 150 ounces from Walmart for the same price. I am skeptical.

👤The Tide box is amazing. They thought of a cool cap holder. The big jugs have a nozzle that drips on them. Great product!

👤This is very messy. The pull out dispensers are dangerous. I spilled most of it.

👤I love that it's small, it doesn't take up much space on my washer, and it uses less plastic than a normal bottle of Tide.

👤I love the concept and appreciate the effort but the folded cardboard on the bottom does not stay in place and it collapses. It's not a big deal except when I am pouring soap and it spills. I appreciate the attempt to use less plastic and reduce shipping boxes.

👤The box is great. The holder for the cup is easy to use. It does not leak like other bottles with a spout. The only negative is that the tide changed their scent in their detergents. It is not the best and it smells like dessert. Glad it cleans well otherwise it would change. They have made this more concentrated and made it easier to load it in a smaller box. The boxes are easy to store on the washer with no mess. I will not be buying any bottles anymore and will continue to buy this way.

11. Seventh Generation Detergent Concentrated EasyDose

Seventh Generation Detergent Concentrated EasyDose

Every time, their easy dose auto dosing technology measures the right amount. Just flip the bottle, and you're done. One squeeze is all you need. It's easy to store and feel good about using Ultra-concentrated laundry detergent, which has 66 loads in a compact 23oz bottle. The small dose, big clean is 75% lighter than their bottle. Even the most stubborn stains are fought by their advanced-enzyme formula. It was made with artificial brighteners.

Brand: Seventh Generation

👤The smaller bottle Seventh Generation sells is larger than this one. My girlfriend and I were unsure if this would be the load count that was specified on the bottle. It was great. The scent is mild and it's free of most harsh chemicals, which was a nice change. The claim of "automatic stop" for pouring is more of a "significantly slows down" than automatic stop. When you release the bottle, you can set the dose and go back to normal. The complaint is more of a note than a complaint. It's the best for the money.

👤The laundry soap is good. I've been using Seventh Generation products for a while and have always liked them. I was worried that the concentrated version would not clean my clothes as well as recommended, but that has not been the case. I usually use onesqueeze for a normal load and 2squeezes for dirty clothes or extra large loads. My clothes always come out clean. This product works great with my front-loading washer. I like that this is so concentrated that it doesn't take up as much room in my laundry room. If you were going to a laundromat, it would be very portable. My daughter's skin is very sensitive and she has not had any reactions to this soap. This product is very good and I would recommend it to others.

👤I bought a bottle of this and a few other detergents in Feb 13 2021. We have only been using this for a while because we wanted to test each one out on its own. Since we have an older washing machine that is not energy efficient, we do two squirts of laundry with it, which is easy to do with its easy dose cap. Even though it doesn't seem like it would be enough, we've both been happy with the detergent. We do a lot of laundry and clean towels and bedding, so I thought we would have done it by now. This is the first time we have used a concentrated detergent and we were used to using a lot of it to get our laundry clean but this stuff has been doing great. We live in a small apartment with not a lot of storage space so we've been using a smaller container of detergent. It's less of a hassle to do. We feel good about the ingredients. This was an easy transition from what we used before because we have been trying to be more conscious about the ingredients in the products we use. If we had to use regular detergent, it would feel wrong. We still have a quarter left, which is more than we expected, even though we thought we would go through a whole bottle by now. We were not used to the fact that our clothes had no scent at all, but they were clean. We used to have a scent on our laundry that gave it a clean smell, but it was usually full of chemicals. I have not seen any damage to our laundry from this product. I appreciate that too. There are so many positives with this product. I don't think I would want to use traditional detergent again. I think it is worth the cost, much easier to use, less messy, and takes up less space, and because it is more concentrated you don't need to use as much. I think there should be more products like this. It costs more money to transport traditional detergents because they are watered down and it requires more plastic waste. It is a great product in our opinion.
