1. Tide Detergent Unscented Hypoallergenic Sensitive

Tide Detergent Unscented Hypoallergenic Sensitive

It is hypoallergenic. The Dermatologist was tested. Free of perfumes and dyes. 3 in 1 technology includes detergent, stain removal and color protection. Dissolves in water. Don't allow children to reach you. Tide Pods Free & Gentle provide a deeper clean that's gentle on the skin. There are 3 laundry pacs for extra large loads. Don't miss this great deal on Bulk Tide Pods. The first and only detergent accepted by both the NEA and NPF.

Brand: Tide

👤The free and clearpods were mostly used for our toddler. As our daughter started eating more and more food, the detergents we were using weren't getting all the stains out. It was time for us to do something more powerful. I was worried about her baby skin but also wanted to buy one kind for the entire family, so we decided to give Tide a try, and boy am I glad we did! They do a great job of cleaning our girl's clothes, but they are also great for my husband's sweaty workouts clothes, our dog's muddy towels, etc. They do a good job of getting unpleasant odors out of dirty clothes, but they are fragrance free.

👤This product was fine when I bought it before. I think they sell old products where the chemicals change due to heat and time. There was no difference in the ingredients list between the yellow and whitepods. I don't know what to buy now because I noticed that this is the issue with other baby safe, sensitive fragrance free detergents, so don't know what to buy. I have never bought toothpaste again. I can't risk. A trip to the ER with a friend. I took the nightgown off because it had a bad smell and weird chemical smell. I had trouble breathing after opening my new inhaler. I have expensive bamboo Made in USA night shirts and tee-shirts that are designed to absorb sweat and keep you comfortable, and these were the only items that had the scent stick to them. I ordered the scented last time because the free and clear wasn't available and it was much stronger than the scented Tide used to be. I don't know what brilliant person decided to keep the scent even after washing and rinsing. I was given a throw away credit card by Tide because I didn't know how to return an open container of Pods. Tide refused to help me when I couldn't get the pin on the card. I can't go to store so I don't know if my helpers will be able to use it. I would like to get an Amazon credit. Tide doesn't say they are responsible for damage caused by their product, just the cost of their terrible product. If someone has asthma, this product is dangerous. TIDE thinks I would file a lawsuit if I had to go to the ER. I have a lot of lawyers in my family. After the last horrible Tide, my expensive stuff was no longer needed. I hope it's the same as I did when I bought those expensive, very soft clothing items for my sensitive skin and allergies. Tide will be out of business if a baby is harmed and an infant dies from a reaction like the one I had. I asked my helpers to take a quick sniff and she felt her chest tighten up. This is a dangerous product for people with asthma.

👤I had been enjoying these Pods until one day they got stuck on my laundry. I just bought a new bed sheet set on Black Friday and washed it for the first time, and this happened, I am very upset. I only realized after I took it out of the dryer that it was very hard to remove. It took me a while to get it off. The issue persisted on multiple washes under different temperature settings. They may look fancy, but they're not as convenient as you'd think. I will not recommend these to anyone.

2. Seventh Generation Detergent Concentrated EasyDose

Seventh Generation Detergent Concentrated EasyDose

Every time, their easy dose auto dosing technology measures the right amount. Just flip the bottle, and you're done. One squeeze is all you need. It's easy to store and feel good about using Ultra-concentrated laundry detergent, which has 66 loads in a compact 23oz bottle. The small dose, big clean is 75% lighter than their bottle. Even the most stubborn stains are fought by their advanced-enzyme formula. It was made with artificial brighteners.

Brand: Seventh Generation

👤The smaller bottle Seventh Generation sells is larger than this one. My girlfriend and I were unsure if this would be the load count that was specified on the bottle. It was great. The scent is mild and it's free of most harsh chemicals, which was a nice change. The claim of "automatic stop" for pouring is more of a "significantly slows down" than automatic stop. When you release the bottle, you can set the dose and go back to normal. The complaint is more of a note than a complaint. It's the best for the money.

👤The laundry soap is good. I've been using Seventh Generation products for a while and have always liked them. I was worried that the concentrated version would not clean my clothes as well as recommended, but that has not been the case. I usually use onesqueeze for a normal load and 2squeezes for dirty clothes or extra large loads. My clothes always come out clean. This product works great with my front-loading washer. I like that this is so concentrated that it doesn't take up as much room in my laundry room. If you were going to a laundromat, it would be very portable. My daughter's skin is very sensitive and she has not had any reactions to this soap. This product is very good and I would recommend it to others.

👤I bought a bottle of this and a few other detergents in Feb 13 2021. We have only been using this for a while because we wanted to test each one out on its own. Since we have an older washing machine that is not energy efficient, we do two squirts of laundry with it, which is easy to do with its easy dose cap. Even though it doesn't seem like it would be enough, we've both been happy with the detergent. We do a lot of laundry and clean towels and bedding, so I thought we would have done it by now. This is the first time we have used a concentrated detergent and we were used to using a lot of it to get our laundry clean but this stuff has been doing great. We live in a small apartment with not a lot of storage space so we've been using a smaller container of detergent. It's less of a hassle to do. We feel good about the ingredients. This was an easy transition from what we used before because we have been trying to be more conscious about the ingredients in the products we use. If we had to use regular detergent, it would feel wrong. We still have a quarter left, which is more than we expected, even though we thought we would go through a whole bottle by now. We were not used to the fact that our clothes had no scent at all, but they were clean. We used to have a scent on our laundry that gave it a clean smell, but it was usually full of chemicals. I have not seen any damage to our laundry from this product. I appreciate that too. There are so many positives with this product. I don't think I would want to use traditional detergent again. I think it is worth the cost, much easier to use, less messy, and takes up less space, and because it is more concentrated you don't need to use as much. I think there should be more products like this. It costs more money to transport traditional detergents because they are watered down and it requires more plastic waste. It is a great product in our opinion.

3. Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent Packaging

Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent Packaging

Seventh Generation Free & Clear Laundry Detergent is made for sensitive skin. The Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent has an enzyme rich formula. Artificial brighteners, dyes, and fragrances are not allowed. The product was certified by the USDA. Their laundry detergent is designed to work in both HE and standard machines, it is powerful in all washing temperatures, and it is safe.

Brand: Seventh Generation

👤I will not be supporting any product by the 7th generation. Once a company that provides products to people decides to use their status as a political party. They are pushing an agenda far beyond a great product for all consumers. I will find a product that works for us. We use a lot. A large family!

👤I bought this detergent because I wanted something pure, and my husband has a history of eczema. He has never had a bad reaction to using genuine lavender. After using this detergent, he broke out in blisters on his body and still has a dark patch on his back. I didn't know it was a detergent that cost $4000 to get a skin exam. He suffered a lot. It went into the trash. People who suffer from eczema should stay away. The dermatologist told us that their laundry soap should be okay, but it raises the question as to what chemical they're adding to this detergent that isn't in the "approved" version. Disappointed in a company that advertises itself as pure.

👤The fresh lavender scent works for all natural people. A special needs adult child has accidents in her pants. I could never get the smell out of her clothes if I washed them in hot water three times. I started using Seventh Generation Laundry Soap after noticing a smell of feces in her clothes. I nose tested her pants and they didn't smell at all. It got out old stains. I will spend the money for Seventh Generation Laundry Soap.

👤I love 7generation products. The measuring cup drips everywhere when you try to attach it back on, and the container is hard to keep up with. It was forced to leave off and spill the drippings. I have ruined my laundry cabinet. If you are looking for laundry detergent, you should get another container.

👤We used to buy laundry detergent from the line from the company. It was more difficult to buy without going to the store. There is a I found this on Amazon. I like this brand better than the others. It would take forever to wash off the detergent I accidentally got on my hand. My point? If I had a hard time washing off the Kirkland brand on my hand, how do I know that all of it is coming off my clothes in the rinse cycle of the washer? If I get some of this brand on my hand, it washes off easily and I assume it does the same in the washer. The measuring line is used for how much detergent to add. My motto is less is more.

👤This is my favorite because it works great on the clothes and helps my husband and son with their skin problems, even though it doesn't last long, it still works great.

👤The detergent is still on the clothes after rinsing in cold water, which is not a real environmental win.

👤Excellent detergent. I paid a lot of money for it. It's a lot easier on my pocketbook now that Walmart carries it.

4. All Laundry Detergent Sensitive Concentrated

All Laundry Detergent Sensitive Concentrated

All clear is the recommended detergent brand for sensitive skin. 99% of top everyday and seasonal irritant are avoided by all clear. All is not intended to treat sensitivity. Their standard all clear detergent has less cleaning power than this concentrated formula. So you don't have to use as much. It's safe for standard and HE washing machines. If you want to avoid having to rewash, use the hottest water you can handle. There is a bottle of all clear 2X concentrated liquid laundry detergent in this package.

Brand: All

👤This contains several isothiazolinones, which are highly allergenic and have a high risk of sensitization. Anyone with sensitive skin is more likely to develop a contact allergy. I appreciate the lack of scent, but beware.

👤Laundry detergent leaked in previous reviews. They thought it would be a good idea to glue the top measuring cup to the bottle. No matter how hard I tried, it wouldn't fall. I tried to unloosing the knife, but it was too strong. It's one thing to make sure it's safe, but how to open it? I put gloves on and cut a hole in the very top with a sharp butcher knife. I had detergent on the side to cut the opening. Please be careful when trying to cut into it, as this may solve their problem with spillage. Don't try to loosen the cap, just take a sharp to the top. I would like to know the type of glue they used.

👤Excellent and affordable detergent! I have been using this detergent for 2.5 years. While expecting our first child, we wanted something that would be good for baby skin. My husband and I wash our clothes and linens with this detergent. No plans to switch to something else!

👤I can recommend this product to someone who has sensitive skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and this product has cleaned my clothing nicely. I haven't had time to relax.

👤What did you think about it? It is clear and clean. I don't have to use a lot to feel like my clothes are clean. The lid is small so you don't over pour and waste product. I think it works. It was a good price.

👤My son has sensitive skin and most laundry detergents cause it. The detergent is the best. Flare ups or irritations were not reported. I use it with the dryer sheets as well. It cleans his clothes great and is good for his skin, but is not the best for a boy. You wouldn't know he had just been in a mud puddle if you washed him. It is great!

👤It's a great product, in a terrible container with terrible shipping issues. There is a If the bottle is squeezed hard it will leak out, because the lid doesn't fully seal. That's the most liquid detergent bottles. It is easy to fix by taping the lid. I was swaddled in three layers of bubble wrap. It created a cocoon of liquid for the open bottle to float about in, while miraculously preventing the soaking of my other goods. My bottle was open. The cap was set atop the bottle. When I cut into the liquid soap wrapping, it gushed forth and spilled a quarter of the bottle upon me. There is a It took me 10 minutes to wash the bottle after I rushed to the sink to complain about the loss of my finances. The bubblewrap mother had to be let go. While whisking the futures of my laundry down the sink, I noticed a scent coming from the soap. The scent of the soap. I'm wondering if my soap has been switched out for someone else, and the cap has been left ajar. I hope not, as my allergies will get worse if that is the case. The moral here? Carefully separate and ship your loads. It's a good thing. The brand is good. There was a bad jar. Part of the product was lost.

5. Grab Green Stoneworks Naturally Derived Mineral Based

Grab Green Stoneworks Naturally Derived Mineral Based

There is something in this: Grab Green Stoneworks Oak has 2 bags of Pods. There are 100 laundry detergent Pods. It is formulated to cut through dirt and leave your laundry clean and fresh. The EPA Safer Choice Certified Pods are free of any harmful chemicals and work on all water temperatures. Oak Tree's pre-measured Pods provide a bold and spicy natural scent. Drop one in your washer and it will be gentle on clothing. The Stoneworks collection is the perfect balance of plant and mineral-based ingredients to ensure the best laundry detergent without harmful chemicals. Grab Green's plant and mineral-based formulas are made with high-quality ingredients that are proudly cruelty-free, never tested on animals and made in the USA.

Brand: Grab Green

👤I would buy this product again. The packaging is a waste of time and money. I was told that I should change my brand after I contacted the company to inquire if they had considered using more eco friendly packaging. I did. I will definitely use them again if they ever change the packaging to be more eco friendly.

👤This is one of the best smelling detergents I have ever used. Why did I only give it 2 stars? I started cutting down on the plastic containers. The product is lined with plastic which cannot be recycled at my center, so it looks like it comes in paper. I have found some cardboard. I had to change. I'll be happy to purchase Green Stoneworks' product again if they change their packaging to no plastic.

👤I love these things! I don't know why people say they don't dissolution. I have never had a problem using them with cold water, warm water or hot water. I am wondering if people throw them in after loading and if they are on top of the clothes and water line. If you put them in the water as the water starts or in the bottom of the washer, it will work just fine. If that information matters, we have a traditional top load washer. I am happy with the quality of the scents we have tried. I use two Pods if I do an extra large load. We will continue to purchase. I don't mind the last bag having a break in it. I am very conscious of the environment and the chemicals in our home, and I am trying to stay away from products that are similar to the ones we are purchasing, but that is not the kind of material used in other products, and that is why we are purchasing this type of product. Some of the comments in the reviews are silly. If someone is so upset that they want to not order again, then one can easily call the company and work through the situation, but if they want to write a negative review, they have to wait. Happy customer here. We have been buying regularly for the last 4 months and will continue to do so. I would love to have a lavender or a citrus scent.

👤I love this detergent. I was looking for something that didn't make us itch and that smelled good. I tried a lot of brands and this one was the best. Oak was the family winner after I tried all of the scents. It is a great product and I am very happy to have found it.

👤I have been re-ordering this product for about a year. It's good for regular washes, but if you have a small load occasionally, it remains undiluted. It doesn't wash white stuff as well as it should, so it would need to be deep washed. I would still recommend it, as it is one of the cleanest detergents and does a good job at regular washing. The scent is pleasant and doesn't linger on clothes after washing.

6. OxiClean Sparkling Liquid Laundry Detergent

OxiClean Sparkling Liquid Laundry Detergent

One bottle of laundry detergent. It is tough on stains, but not on your fabrics, and has an uplifting scent of flowers and citrus. Powers away tough dirt and breaks down set-in stains. Restores vibrant colors and removes stains. Works in both standard and high efficiency washing machines.

Brand: Oxiclean

👤I gave the presentation a 1 star because the detergent leaked out of the container and into the box, and it was in a plastic wrap. The top side of the container leaked even after I tightened the lid. If I didn't put the detergent into a bottle, there would be a mess every time I washed. Hopefully this was a one-time issue and won't happen again. The smell of the deteregent makes the laundered items smell fresh. There is an update. I decided to give this seller another chance. I'm glad I did. The detergent was sealed in a plastic wrap so it wouldn't leak from the container, even if it did, because the lid was tight. I'm going to stick with this seller because they listened to my issue and made adjustments accordingly. The rating has been updated to a 5 star.

👤I don't like laundry detergent. The usual things are done by this one with oxiclean. It keeps whites bright. It does all of these well, but it is the smell of my clothes that makes it stand out. When they are straight from the wash, items still have a clean scent.

👤I was a little worried about using this because I am so allergic. I got it at a good price as an add on and had a gift card code, so I thought, why not? I was pleasantly surprised. It smells great! I am a big fan of oxy clean. I wanted to see what it did to my laundry. My clothes were clean and fresh. I am always aware of the build up in my towels, and they didn't seem to be a lot. I have not had a problem with my laundry being washed in this detergent. That is a huge plus. I plan to use this product in the future. It has a good price and good quality.

👤This product is great for keeping your whites bright and nice, as well as getting the stains out, when combined with the Oxi Gel Stain remover. I put the product in the laundry room until I was done with the previous bottle, because the box only contained this product. I opened it and found that the bottle had burst and there was blue gunk in the box and the bag it was shipped in. I have lost a lot of the product that I will use. I'll get a few loads out of what remains in the bottle.

👤I buy high-end detergent. This is the first detergent that I give 5 stars. It is a great substitute for the top products. It is the closest thing I have found. I do a large family's laundry, which means I do several loads laundry at least every other day, so the expensive brands become cost-prohibitive after awhile. The price is more important than the small difference. This is definitely a keeper.

👤This product is the best laundry detergent I have ever used. It was able to get sweat out of my sheets that tide, gain, arm and hammer couldn't. This is the only thing I use anymore. I have ordered this 2 or 3 times and Amazon has replaced it 2 or 3 times because they simply can't get them to stop leaking during shipping. I recommend this project to the moon and back because you can buy it locally.

7. Laundry Detergent Sheets Loads Biodegradable

Laundry Detergent Sheets Loads Biodegradable

Good things come in small packages. Their sheets are safe and powerful to clean. Zero waste is their packaging design that saves space, mess and keeps plastic out of the ocean. Every box has a certain amount of use. Their soap can be washed in any standard washing machine or washer. Relax by adding a strip. The skin is safe because it is Paraben-free,phosphate free, bleach free, and dye-free. Kid friendly. Mom approved! Powerful cleaning power in a small package. Their laundry sheets work as well as detergents. Don't compromise for clean. It's perfect for when you're traveling.

Brand: Sojourner

👤This is my second purchase and I really like it. I usually use half a sheet and cold water. I own a front load washer. I put the sheet in the soap dispensers in the top drawer and it dissolved in the cold water. I'm very happy with it. We have a family of 4. There were no complaints. I always do laundry with a little bit of borax or oxiClean on it. It comes in a bigger size.

👤I've hated lugging those heavy liquid detergent bottles home for a long time. I recycle paper and cardboard. I knew that the detergent bottles wouldn't be recycled back into the system even if I washed them out. I was correct. I can rest easy knowing that this product won't hurt my family or my tank, and that it cleans phenomenally. I used to have a musty smell in my washer, but now it's gone. There was no slimy countertops, no washing the bottles off, and no mess around the machine. My old towels are brighter and smell better. Will re-order this and I'm very happy.

👤Have used it twice. The sheets are dissolved into suds. One shirt has a stain on it after it dried in the dryer, so not sure if cleaning power is there. Tide was thought to be the number one in cleaning power, but it is not as good as it used to be. It seems like a watered down formula compared to the past usage. The sheets are very inventive. I'm on the fence as to what the greatest is. Everyone should try it out and decide for themselves.

👤There are pieces of the strips all over my clothes and the side of my washer. My daughter developed a rash after using these. I think these are the cause because they aren't rinsing completely. Next time, I will buy a box of powder detegent. It's like a simpler way to cut down on plastic.

👤I like that the product doesn't take up a lot of space in my storage area. The sheets smell good and are preforated for tearing in half. After washing my clothes, I feel like it works. It does not have any dyes in it. It doesn't make me itch because I have sensitive skin. I don't have to run a seperate cycle to rinse out anything that might have been left behind, which helps me save water. The product is more expensive than I would pay for detergent, which gives me the impression that it might be a novelty right now. If the price would go down, I think this would be a good choice. If you have limited storage space and have sensitive skin, I recommend this.

👤The scent is pleasant. There is a I think I am sold on the concept of detergent sheets, but I have never tried them before. Three of my friends will get a full sheet from me so they can try them. There is a We all have different laundry needs. The manufacturer claims these to be septic safe for bonus points. All of my friends liked the trial results. There is a coin-op in the basement of a shared apartment building. There is a The packaging is lighter and smaller than other options. I don't have to worry about putting my laundry in the car before I get to the laundromat because it will be dry before I get home. There is a You can change my title. If the load required a bit of extra, I used 1.5 sheets. I don't mind a raggedy half sheet. I will only keep a small bottle of liquid or powder detergent at home for emergency hand washing, because I am completely on board with detergent sheets. There is a If you want to get huge bonus points, you should try the reduction of environmental impact.

8. Seventh Generation Concentrated Detergent Unscented

Seventh Generation Concentrated Detergent Unscented

The triple-enzyme formula fights stains. It's free and clear laundry detergent for sensitive skin. The product is designed with safety in mind. The detergent washes 53 medium loads in a high efficiency machine. The product is made with plant-based ingredients.

Brand: Seventh Generation

👤I have ordered three bottles of Free & Clear. I recently noticed a strong, unfamiliar, drug store perfume smell coming from nowhere yet everywhere. I live alone, so no husband will step out on me. I started sniffing around to find the smell of whence came after I was reminded that I was going to die alone, unloved and childless. Went room by room, but please imagine a towering castle on a cliff overlooking a roiling ocean, and then sniffed my sleeve, jeans, and sheets. Think of a bloodhound in a flower shop. A sommelier is at a tasting. Think... I think you know where this is going. This BOTTLE IS BEING HUNTED. The Geranium is labeled with the wrong label. That's probably it. Ignores thumping noise in laundry closet.

👤I was looking for a detergent that wouldn't hurt my skin. One of the worst offenders for skin irritation is sodium lauryl sulfate.

👤I have very sensitive skin and I wanted to use this product. I had to stop using it and wash my clothes because it made me itch. This product was very disappointing. I like their dish soap and cleaning wipes, but this product is a flop.

👤I could get a bigger bottle for the same price if I had paid for this tiny thing. I went to my grocery store and saw that the smaller bottles were only $4 and the big bottles were $12. I am showing a picture of people who may not want to concentrate. The bottle I ordered is on the left. I have the one on the right. Both say they are over 50 loads. I chose one star because it is good for sensitive skin.

👤Love the plant based products from this company. I worked in a plastic factory in Canada. I am familiar with the harsh chemicals used in laundry detergents. The plastic used to hold laundry detergent needs to be resistant to a lot of abuse. There is a You get a lot of washes from this tiny bottle, you don't smell like a dryer sheet, and my clothes look brand new after the wash/dry. It works well on pizza sauce. If you're not a "save the Earth" person, buy everything found on the side of a NASCAR race car, even if you're not a "save the Earth" person.

👤I will not be using Seventh Generation products in the future.

👤The only one that does not irritate my skin is this laundry detergent. I've tried many scent free and natural laundry soaps, but the more "natural" ones often contain botanical extracts that cause irritation. I have a lot of allergies to plants, so it makes sense that something without botanical extracts will be less upsetting to me. I am sensitive to scent and this seems to be free of it. I suggest you try a few kinds of laundry soap to see which is best for you. This has been the best scent free option for me so far.

👤The Seventh Generation concentrated detergent works well in my washing machine. It's free of scent and friendly to my system. I get the correct amount to clean even large loads if I measure using the cap and not the guide inside my washing machine. I don't have kids or dogs at home, but my husband does a lot of projects around the house and I spend a lot of time in the garden. It does more ordinary laundry and cleans all those work clothes. -- Wesselmann was named after Deborah Lee Wesselmann.

9. Earth Friendly Products Hypoallergenic Detergent

Earth Friendly Products Hypoallergenic Detergent

A powerful laundry detergent made from plants. Coconut and lavender essential oil are included. There is no harsh chemicals. They promise to never use any of the nasty ingredients in the formula. A Dermatologist tested the pH and theallergenicness. The U.S. EPA is certified as a safer choice.

Brand: Earth Friendly Products

👤There is a warning It's not a safe ingredient for your skin or body. It's a powerful synthetic preservative that's found in many personal care products and has been linked to lung toxicity, allergic reactions and possible neurotoxicity. The European Commission's Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety has reported that it is a contact sensitizing agent. Personal care products containing phenaclyst are used to limit the growth ofbacteria. It has been found to be toxic even in small amounts. A phenol and a known skin carcinogen are combined to create it. Exposure to phenoxyethanol can cause reactions ranging from mild to life threatening. The nervous system can be affected by exposure to phenoxyethanol. If you want to use this product for your family's laundry, please read up on the ingredients and decide for yourself. Many of the ingredients in cosmetics, sunscreens and body washes are common. Over time, toxins build up in the body and can cause health problems. I used this detergent and didn't realize what I was doing. It foamed up a lot more than other detergents. The lavender scent is pleasant, but it doesn't last on clothes. It made my clothes feel stiff and harder. I don't like that this laundry detergent claims to be made for sensitive skin and that it's clean and "plant-powered". It's very deceptive. I like most of the ingredients, but a few are not safe for babies and people with allergies. There are many toxic chemicals in our everyday products. Not good.

👤I bought this product a long time ago and liked it. There is no smell of lavender anymore and the odors are still on the clothes. Dinner napkins were smelling like last night's dinner. There is no stain removal. I think I will use it on bath towels. The scent of my blouse is light. It isn't practical if it can't remove odors and soil. I doubled the amt. It did not have any better results. Can't recommend for anything.

👤This formula is not good for my sensitive skin. I have not had an outbreak of Eczema in about a year, but I did get one after using this laundry detergent. I use Econ's Lavender without the fabric softener and it works great. I don't recommend this particular formula to anyone with the skin condition. I had to learn the hard way.

👤I have been using this for a while. It is the reason that our smell is not clean and that we have been sitting in the washer for days. I switched to this because I noticed my detergent left a white crust over our line when I used it. I was told that soaps and detergents are bad for the system. I bought this and the leech line area improved so much that I no longer smell the sewage after being washed. Going to have to switch back to a regular detergent.

👤Since Covid, we've been doing a lot more online shopping and we would always pick this soap up from our local C***** Warehouse. The price... It's still cheaper than anywhere else. There is a This stuff is eco friendly, works well with high efficiency washers, it's a low-sud soap, great for my toddlers sensitive skin, and the lavender isn't too strong but still smells great. Depending on how much soap you actually use and the size of your load. The bottles are more like 50 loads than the 100 load claim on the label would suggest.

10. Biokleen Clear Natural Laundry Detergent

Biokleen Clear Natural Laundry Detergent

Powerful laundry cleaner uses mineral-based cleaning agents and chlorine-free oxygen bleach to remove odors and stains. Biokleen Free & Clear uses a formula that works great in High Efficiency and standard washers, and is gentle on sensitive skin. Laundry products from Biokleen are concentrated to reduce packaging and waste. Get sharper looking clothes. The stain fighting power of oxygen bleach lightens whites and colors. It doesn't leave a mark on fabrics. Biokleen products are made in the USA and never tested on animals.

Brand: Biokleen

👤The way our grandparents did things was the same. This stuff has rules. It's simple, economical, has minimal plastic packaging that can at least be reuse or recycled before "recycling" (sorry to burst your hippie bubble, but very little of what goes into recycle bins actually gets averted from landfill), the box takes up way less room than liquid detergent bottles This has an A rating on EWG.org, which is a nonpartisan research group that analyzes all sorts of data, including ingredients of consumer goods, which are rated based on how healthy things are for humans and the environment. There is a I usually wash my clothes with cold water in a front-loading washer, and I have no problems with the clumps because I sprinkle the powder inside the drum on top of my clothes. If you put it in the compartment that is meant for liquid detergent, it will clump. I add a small amount of distilled white vinegar to every load. There is a Sometimes I shed a tear because I miss the smell of Gain and Tide and Bounce. I think about how sewage is minimally processed by wastewater treatment plants, then dumped into our rivers, bays, oceans, etc etc, and I snap out of it. It's time to smell the future. Thank you, Biokleen.

👤Most eco-detergents get a grade of C or D from the Environmental Working Group, but they don't work very well. Two exceptions are Bio-Kleen and Planet, both of which receive a grade of A and actually work. I use both Bio-Kleen powder and Planet because we have a HE washer and Bio-Kleen foams/suds if you use too much. Planet doesn't make suds. There is a The test for eco-detergents is cloth diapering. I've been using this regimen for a year in my mountain. My cotton prefolds and hemp inserts come out clean as a whistle after drinking well water with high levels of calcium and magnesium salts. I use coconut oil on the baby's bottom and lanolized wool covers to get those oils out of the cotton and hemp. It's important to note for hard water. If you want to use a non-toxic, eco-detergent and you have hard water, you will need to add in a hard water treatment to your wash. Non-precipitating water conditioners are the only ones that work in the long run. I've been playing with the idea of adding 1/2 - 1 cup of vinegar or 10% citric acid solution to the rinse compartment to remove mineral deposits and make fabric softer. I don't know if the hard water deposits will be controlled by a single rinse, but it seems to be enough for some people. Calgon is a water softener, but it isn't a miracle for me - I'm not 100% sure how well the new formula works, it contains synthetic polymer and zeolites, and it has an unclear safety profile. Unless you use non-precipitating water softeners, you should be aware that borax and washing soda can cause mineral salts on your fabrics. The problem with borax is that it is toxic to humans. STTP and EDTA are approved for use as food Additives. I make a gallon of solution at a time by adding 100 g of citric acid per liter of water. I use my mediocre front loading washer to load a load that fills up 1/3 of the washer. Pre-soak prefolds and inserts in hot water in several 5 gallon buckets for 1 - 2 hours. This removes mineral build-up on fibers. It also removes odors. The water is softened to prevent and remove mineral deposits. After soaking, dump the water and load the washer to remove excess liquid. There are two more To remove remaining poo + urine, 1/2 to 1 scoop biokleen + 1 tbsp STTP, you need to wash on warm water. Heavy duty hot wash with biokleen and extra rinse. The final warm water light wash should be used to remove residual detergent and alkali. I add 1 cup of vinegar or 1/2 cup of citric acid solution to this in the detergent slot to help remove hard water mineral build up and make sure the diaper's pH is back to neutral or just slightly acidic which human skin does fine with. There is a I wish I had an old fashioned non HE washer or a better one. Most HE washers don't use enough water to wash cloth diapering situations. I know that Love University doesn't do extra rinses, but that's rubbish. I left out the final rinse a few times and that is the only time that a contact rash appeared on the baby's bottom. I added the extra rinse back in and it went away. As long as you keep the mineral deposits in check, you can do some extra rinses without creating more of a mineral build-up on the fibers in the long run. If you ever need to strip your diapers, I would recommend soaking in a very strong de-greaser like dawn in very hot water for 3-6 hours, and then using a plunger. Adding Bac- Out which helps too, is also possible if you use a bathtub or big bucket. This gets rid of gunk. Then you can follow this with a soak in hot water for 3-6 hours. Hard water mineral deposits and soap scum are removed. If you have soft water, stripping will probably work, even if you have an acid soak. There is a Hope this is useful. It took some trial and error to figure it out.

Brand: Ecos

👤The packages say made in China, when in fact they are made in the USA.

👤I love these laundry sheets. They came with 2 boxes that were wrapped in plastic film. I am trying to reduce my plastic waste, but I would like to see the company stop using the plastic wrap. The brand was the most economical of the bunch. I use what I have, but only a few cents per load. The rest of the packaging is a box. I will attach some pictures of my test load. I tried it on the dirtiest thing I have. I have a bunny who pees next to his litter box. I got bed pads to protect the floor. Below is a shot of how sudsy the sheet got. I only used one sheet. It works the same as the other stuff. I was using. I didn't take the test because I wanted to see how well it worked. I will be using these from now on. I hope the plastic can be removed someday.

👤If the boxes come wrapped up in plastic, what is the point of buying a plastic free laundry detergent?

👤1. I thought I would give the sheets a try, because I love Ecos liquid laundry detergent. The sheets stick to the side of the washer. They leave a mark on my clothing. I have used other laundry detergent sheets. 2. Liquid Ecos is made in the USA, but the sheets are made in China.

👤Laundry detergent is a major contributor to the bad water issues. I decided to try this for the clean water and plastic issues. Good sign, came in a box. It was dissolved in the wash, another good sign. I am not sure how they would work for super dirty clothing. I have dog blankets and they came out clean. I'm digging them.

👤I was ready to fall in love with this product. The first wash went well. The window in the front of my car had a white, sticky mass on it after the wash and cold rinse, and more was stuck to the wet clothing. It took some work to clean it up. It was the same load as the first time, but still too much to tolerate. I have a recent model front-loading machine that uses one sheet, a normal sized load, placed on top of the load and then started according to directions. I returned the product for a refund because I don't know what's going wrong. Very disappointing. I don't see any other people with this experience yet, so I may have gotten an "off" batches. It's a great idea and worth trying.

👤The idea of minimal packaging and no plastic excited me. It's not messy since it's not powder nor liquid. There is a My laundry smells terrible. Likes it to be dirty. I have to use bleach to get rid of the smell. I don't want to use bleach in every load. It leaves a funky gummy substance that can only be described as a kind of washing machine slime on one or two items in each load, most likely the clothes closest to the detergent sheet. I have to soak them in the sink to get them off. It says it can be used at any temperature, but the cold water clothes smell worse. I only used half of the box, but I'm throwing the rest away and going to something else.
