Best Eco Friendly Loofah with Handle

👤As soon as I opened this set, I felt a sense of sustainable- thinking and patritical design. Each tool has sturdy bristles that are different in strength based on the intended use. I don't mind leaving the brushes out in the sink when not in use because they have the Tieralia logo laser engraved on them with no words. The packaging is made with paper to keep the utensils separate and a pamphlet with cleaning solution recipes which was a nice surprise. I had a bamboo short dish brush from another brand, but the full Tieralia brush set provides different levels of pressure for cleaning different messes. The short brush has a good grip and stiff bristles. The sponges have a rougher material sewn to them. The sewed on backing of the sponges is still in tact after 1.5 months of use. The round brush is great for rinsing dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. The brush gets more wear than the rest of the set. The design of the brush allows for the brush portion to be removed from the handle for easier replacement and less waste. I would be interested in Tieralia offering sets of individual replacements of each brush/sponge type so that I could replace them as needed. 👤The items are large. I used all of the pieces while cleaning the kitchen. The brush is great for getting stuck food particles off of dishes, scrubbing gunk off of the stove and scrubbing down the sink after you finish cooking. The bottle brush looks very different from other brushes I have used. I prefer it to the others because it works perfectly. Excellent piece for glasses that are slender. The brush with handle is great for larger pots and pans. My kids love using all the pieces when they are on duty. Happy for the doubles.

There is a The long handled brush was a surprise because it cleans a lot of places that are smaller on items that are hand wash only like the aluminum paddle for my Kitchenaid mixer that Kitchenaid in their infinite wisdom decided should be made of something that can't go in the dishwasher! The brush in the 5th picture works great on that paddle and gets into the tiny areas well and is completely clean. The wooden part of the brush is covered in lacquer or varnish. The ring on the end is not as strong as I would like it to be, but it is still very sturdy. The bottled brush surprised me. It should do bottles, but the little curl on the end makes it easy to get under the rim of a canning jar. I love that because that is an area where it is hard to get clean in the dishwasher without scrubbing it out, and that is where the food coagulates in the head space and sticks like crazy. This brush is easy to use. Great surprise! The handle on this brush is a bit stronger to be able to scrub without feeling like it will break. The handle is coated in the same color as the other wooden parts of the set and has a hole in it so you can hang it. It's in my sink organizer. There is a And finally the sponge. Oh the sponge! I have always preferred the yellow sponges with green scratchers, which smell better after a couple of days. Not so with the sponges that are natural. The scratchy side works just as well as the other one for me. They don't stink, that's the really great thing. I put it in my sink caddy and it doesn't stink. That is wonderful! It can also be put in the dishwasher to clean and kill bugs. These guys are amazing. That also fits nicely in my sink organizers. I love it. There is a This would be a great gift. 👤The pads and washing surfaces will remove dead skin cells. If you're not careful, they may take a few live ones. I think that's correct. I'm not serious. If you want that, they are rough. I was looking for rough feet because they look like a dry river bed. So far, so good. The stitching on the pieces is very high quality. I was surprised. These look like they will last a while. I'm happy so far.

👤The feel of the loofahs in this set is really nice, and the fake loofah mitten is easy to use. The length of the loofah for your back is shorter than some others. I'm under 5', so it'll be too short for taller women and men. The bristles on the brush seem softer than I thought. I'm glad I bought this.

👤The little string has fallen off from very little stress, so keep in mind if you hang it between uses. I've found the reason for the string coming out. It is poorly secured in the middle with the mesh around it. You can find the center, pull the knot out, and loop the string through it if you dig in a little. The knot is weak and not a good choice for the cordage. I undid it and pulled a nice tight square knot on it, then I put the string in the middle loop to hide the knot in the middle of the mesh. In the second picture, I had the loop through the knot, and you can re-tie hope if you put the knot opposite of the picture. This helps someone.

👤There was a stain on the side of my tub where I hang the sponge. I watched the next time and the soap I used was blue. I rubbed the blue dye on my body. I was able to remove the stain from my tub. I won't be using any more of these sponges.

👤I use the item frequently in a fiberglass shower until I move to a new home. The left loofah is on the tile and the blue one is on the bench. I can't get the blue hue out of stone because it is porous. This product is terrible.

It arrived quickly, the packaging is smart, they were dried flat in a vacuum seal pack, the sponges are great quality, and all have little handles so that you can hang them up to dry after use. The back scrubber handles are great, they are easy to grip and don't break like many of the little twine handles on similar back scrubber loofas I have purchased in the past. 👤This is how loofahs should be. It's something you would expect at a high end spa. It's perfect size, perfect texture, thick and not flimsy at all. The yarn is thick and strong to hold to and hang. I didn't have to add more body wash mid-shower because it keeps an awesome lather. It was soft, yet it was wondefully. My husband loves his, it's in a "non manly" color. The extra bonus is that the bag they come in is recycled and won't collect dirt and dust. I will be buying these for all my future loofah sponge needs, they would make an excellent gift, especially for under 6bucks for 4!

👤I saw some reviews that said they untangled, but I've been using just one of the 4 since November 2020 and it hasn't untangled, loosened, or stretched out at all. My partner uses that one. I have no complaints since it's the same as the first time. You can scrub it really hard without it making my skin red, but this one doesn't. I can't wrap my hands around it without having to squeeze it, my partner can do that, but I have small hands. I'll probably buy these again once we're done with all of them, which seems like it will be at least a year since the first two are still in peak condition.

I think natural is not for me. One of the sponges was split in half and not really usable because it is so thin. I tried to use the sponge, but they're pretty awesome. I didn't know how much they would expand. The broken one is weird on the backside and I think I can use both pieces as their own sponges, so it's like I ended up with 3 sponges!

I settled on this set because of the price for value, after looking and looking for the right kind of dish brush set. I haven't used the sponges yet, but the brushes are great. I wait until the bristles have softened up a bit before using on more sensitive surfaces. Their strength gets the food off. I hang mine to dry and after a month of daily use I don't have any issues with it falling apart/molding, so I would say that hanging these to dry out completely between use is a must! The pan brush has a good idea of a handle, but it does tire the wrist more than a top grip would, so I think it's time to change it.

In my CA county, plastic is no longer collected for recycle because it is being shipped to China for recycling, where it isn't being recycled at all. Is it going to be dumped in the Pacific? 👤This can't be real loofah. I think I could be wrong. They look like synthetic material. It is very rough and painful to use. They won't get any softer, so you could soak them all day. They are too large to hold and use. The skin is burned like sand paper by the fibers. It was a bad experience. I have used loofah for a long time and it always felt softer than this stuff, but not these things. I have never heard of loofah being flat as a pancake. I know loofah gets even softer when wet, but it doesn't expand as much as it should. I've worked with gourds for years and have never seen loofah like this before. The size and thickness of the loofah gourd's shell are what determines its classification as a loofah gourd. The centers are machine made and not a natural plant, but they are the same size and shape as the faux material. I wouldn't give these to anyone. They go to the garbage. I won't be ordering them again. I bought several nice loofahs from Tuesday Morning's store for far less. I don't recommend this product.

👤I had to try to buy these based on the FAKESPOT rating. I'm used to the roundish loofah, so I was surprised they showed up flat. The loofah was huge upon first use. It's probably bigger than I need, but it's soft and luxurious right away. It's not rough, but if you're not used to abrasive, exfoliating cloths like those from Japan or Morocco, or prefer a fluffy, synthetic shower puff, this product may take some getting used to. After it was wet, there was a weird smell. I received a follow up email about the possibility of a smell and black loofah seeds in the sponge, both of which are not to worry about. I have a giant soft loofah that I love using and I will give it to our overnight guests. I don't usually write many reviews, but this is a really lovely product that will make you and your guests feel better.
