👤I bought these for my children's lunches and intended them to hold liquid. Mistake. The screw on the lid is not leak proof. Silicone or rubber gasket are not offered to seal against them. There is no way to tighten the cap. The lunch boxes were leaking and making a mess. Returning both sets. There is a These are really useful for dry goods. That's not the reason I bought these.

👤The Bento Kids container is larger than it is in my photos. The lunch boxes my kids use are pictured, they are larger on the outside but hold a larger amount of food. The Bento Kids containers do fit the zip around lunch bag from Disney, but the Sistema containers do not. It works well in the pictured lunchbox from Lands End, but only in this larger style. I like these lunch containers because they can be washed in the dishwasher and I always have at least 2 clean ones. They are easy to open for young kids.

👤The perfect size for my kids' lunchboxes is these. I use them to put fresh fruit, pasta salad, crackers, deli meat, and other items in my children's school lunches. I don't think it's a good idea to use them for anything with liquid, like canned fruit or sauces, not leak proof - especially if turned on its side, or thrown into a lunch box without making sure its sitting level. It's great for dry foods that aren't wet.

👤My first shipment had a chip in it. Quality control was an issue. I made a mistake or requested a replacement because I saw that it was thick. The reason? I stacked the containers vertically in order to save cabinet space. There were glass shards in the container when I took it out to use. This product is dangerous. 👤I was really excited about these. They fit in our lunch boxes. They have always been washed by hand. I have to struggle to get them to close after about 3 weeks of use. I have to try a few times to get the lid in the right place because it's a chore to clip the sides. They are leak proof. I don't like the struggle to close them. I have been washing my hands since I got this one. The lid got bent a few weeks later. I am not sure why. I used hot water for cleaning. The bowls seem to be more durable and I have not had an issue with the bottoms breaking but even with 10oz of chicken in the small side and 14oz of veggies in the large the bowl bent in half almost just lifting it from either side rather than the middle. The bowls are used for basic purposes, they hold meals. It is almost a joke to wash them with out breaking them because they are so flimsy and easy to break.

I have used 30 of the 50 so far, and the total broken lids and containers to-date is zero. I put the loaded with yummy food containers in my freezer after I cook a lot of different meals on Sundays. 👤I was going to buy Pyrex, but they switched from borosilicate glass to soda-lime glass in their USA products. If you put a hot container on a cool surface, it can explode, and that soda-lime glass is not as tolerant of fast temperature changes. I expect these glass containers to be safer when I go from oven to freezer to microwave. If I use the container to take lunch to work in my backpack, the tight fit of the lid is great for me. Unless you have two hands of normal adult strength, you might have trouble snapping them into place because the lids are tight. I wouldn't recommend these for elderly or disabled people.

I threw the packing material away because they were missing one locking side. They leak so I can't bring them to work. I don't want the hassle of returning them because I don't have packing material and I don't want the containers to be shattered. I'm back to square one with finding lunch containers. I tried to write a review on the first day, but the website wouldn't let me because it was receiving unusual review activity. I kept trying, but I felt so strongly about it. Frustrating!
