Best Eco Friendly Meal Prep Containers Paper

👤My roommate and I have purchased these containers before. I bought 30 of these containers back in 2019. Tops fit. Everything stacked well, and they were durable. I would give them 5 stars. There are two more I recommended it to my roommate who bought 20 early in 2020. There was nothing to complain about. They were compatible with the first even though they had a different marking. There are 3 more I ordered more in May 2020 to increase my 30. These are not the same ones as those ordered. There are 2 big problems with it. The tops on the new containers don't fit the old ones, and the top of the old containers don't fit the new ones. The bottoms all look the same and are hard to tell apart. It's only a slight difference, but it makes them useless with each other. Imagine how hard it is to separate out 30 containers and tops from 40 containers and tops that look exactly the same after you use them for the first time. There is a It's not feasible to have both sets of containers in the same kitchen. How can I return them now that they've been used? I would have bought something else if I had known they were different than the product I was buying. A) The new ones are more sloppily manufactured than the old ones. Some of the tops are too large and there is a clear bend. If you try to stack the tops, they won't stack flat, and this is a big problem when trying to store a bunch of these containers neatly. The old ones were flat. There are new and old pictures on the left and right.

If you measure 18oz of liquid, you can decide if it's enough for a meal. It's probably not.

The glass is thick enough to make them strong but not heavy. I included a picture of the container compared to a regular size dinner plate because some reviewers said they weren't big enough. You can get a good idea of the true size by doing this. The size is convenient for fitting into lunchboxes or cooler bags. I tested them to make sure they don't leak. Even when I turned it upside down, there was no escaping it. The product is very good and the price is great.

👤The product is sturdy and heavy, it is glass. There are two things I'm not happy about with this product. If you stack something on top it will slip off the lid. This product is my biggest pet peeve. The rubber seal comes off when I open and close the container. I thought I was putting the seal on the wrong way, but it turned out that the rubber seal doesn't stay in place. The lid is always stuck on the edge of the container when I open it. It's annoying when you have to put the rubber seal back in the lid every time. I wish I could return them, but you wouldn't know until you use them.

If you stack full containers with the tops latched on, they sit on top, but there's nothing you can do to prevent them from sliding off. Storage containers with ridges on the lids prevent a container stacked on top from shifting. These containers would have been a 6 star product.

I have a few glass Anchor Hocking & Pyrex storage dishes that I like but the lids don't seal well and replacing them can be expensive. I decided to try this brand. I was surprised by the quality of the packaging. If you register the item, they will give you a 1 year free warranty. The glass isn't heavy, but it is thicker. Saran wrap was used to protect the lids on both sides. The dishwasher soap and heat shortens the lifetime of the product, so I hand wash my plastic. The lids were nicely stacked together. I hope this product will last me a long time.

👤My husband goes to work and we bought these for him. We use the biggest compartment for the meats and the smaller ones for the sides. These don't open and they haven't leaked either. They keep food warm for a while. If you need to microwave it later on, you can do it in this container. Will buy again.

We tried to place the lids on all of them just to make sure they were compatible, as we had ordered meal prep containers from Amazon that had a similar problem. 👤I can't see how these got a high rating, they don't seal properly. The top does not snap together tightly. I don't get much of the top to snap together. It leaves a small gap that can be filled with air, which makes freezing them useless. I don't think restaurants will give these out. I'm not going to send mine back since they were so cheap. The top of the lid fits into the bottom of the container so that the stack doesn't slide off each other. Excellent! 👤I can't recommend this enough. It works a good portion. There are two ways to let steam out and an inner liner that is aligned differently so that steam won't leak. I put hot soup in the containers and kept it in the fridge for a few days so it wouldn't leak. The only flaw is that if it gets wet on the outside, it shows, but it's still worth it.

👤I have been using these containers for almost a year. They are the perfect size for packing lunches. I haven't had an issue with the divider yet. I use a container or cup to separate small things or remove them before I cook the whole container. It's safe, but I still wash the lids. I've had Pyrex lids degrade due to the dishwasher, so I'm playing it safe with these. I have never had a problem with the rubber gasket around the lip of the lid. It's a nice hollow rubber ring that the rim of the glass pushes into and it snaps on, so it seals really well. There are no leaks yet. The gasket is easy to clean. I shook the container and filled it with water and it leaked all over the place. I put the lid on the wrong way. It was completely water tight when I did it. Reviewers said that the dividers don't go all the way up to the lid. They don't. There is a small gap on my containers. These divided containers work well for storing mostly solid food and not liquid. If you plan to store liquid or small pieces of solid food, like corn, you should use a different container as they will pass through the gap in the divider. There is a small gap in the photo on Amazon. Reviewers said they came with a cracked lid. I received 5 containers and 3 had cracked lids. I know that stuff happens in shipping. I contacted the seller and provided a photo of the damage, and they replaced the containers without any questions asked. The customer service was excellent. I take my lunch to work in these every day and I have never had a problem with them leaking or food mixing between the compartments. I don't put them in a backpack. I don't think you'll find a better glass storage container at this price point if you can live with the limitations I have mentioned. Kevin was very customer service oriented.
