Best Eco Friendly Meal Prep Containers Reusable

👤I was going to buy Pyrex, but they switched from borosilicate glass to soda-lime glass in their USA products. If you put a hot container on a cool surface, it can explode, and that soda-lime glass is not as tolerant of fast temperature changes. I expect these glass containers to be safer when I go from oven to freezer to microwave. If I use the container to take lunch to work in my backpack, the tight fit of the lid is great for me. Unless you have two hands of normal adult strength, you might have trouble snapping them into place because the lids are tight. I wouldn't recommend these for elderly or disabled people.

I don't want the hassle of returning them because I don't have packing material and I don't want the containers to be shattered. I'm back to square one with finding lunch containers. I tried to write a review on the first day, but the website wouldn't let me because it was receiving unusual review activity. I kept trying, but I felt so strongly about it. Frustrating!

The container is deep enough to fit a k-cup inside, so you won't have a problem fitting a full chicken thigh or drumsticks in there, unlike most containers I found. The tab can be snapped into place on the edge of the container if the grip is lifted down and out. Customer service went out of their way to be very responsive and offered to replace the container that had been damaged. I'm changing my review from 2 to 4 stars. When I received this item, I was happy. It was packed securely and arrived quickly. The containers have a tight seal. One glass container had a chip on the edge before I even used it, with only the tap from another container as I was moving them. They are difficult to shut down. It seems like the lids shrunk after I washed them. I had to turn the container sideways to snap the clips on the sides because they are hard to do. I've used containers like this before, so it's not as if I don't know how to snap the lid on. I suppose you get what you pay for, because the price for this set was lower than most others.

It's very easy to stack, clean and throw things in for work or school. Don't worry about how much food it can hold. I am a plus size mama and this fits to make sure you are full. I use the bottom portion for main course and the middle portion for my son's portion. The top for desert and utensils. The chop stick sides of utensils make it easier to use the fork and spoon. The type of plastic makes it difficult to use. The spoon is my best friend. The fork doesn't work with soft foods. I suggest you use your own set if you prefer chop sticks. I love this lunch box.
