Brand: Babo Botanicals

👤Please don't change this product! Shake before use. Leave bottle upright so sunscreen doesn't dry out. There is a Rub hands together and apply sunscreen. Rub it in good. If you apply too much at once, rub it in and then apply a second light layer. You will have a white glow if you do all this. I have a darker skin color. People are not following the tips.

👤I ordered the Babo spray sunscreen, Babo face stick sunscreen and Babo sunscreen product to take on our Florida vacation. We went to the beach after coating our bodies with these products. We coated again after about an hour. After only 3.5 hours in the sun, this is the result. My husband and daughter burned very badly. All of us have olive skin tones. My husband was 800-273-3217 I tried to return the products, but they wouldn't let me. Don't buy this brand.

👤March 12, 2019: Update. The formula was changed. I opened a new tube and it glided on my face much better. Shea butter is no longer the first ingredient. The third ingredient before shea is agne oil which makes it more liquid. It's no longer true that the comment that says it's hard to apply is no longer true. I can put it on top of my gel. When you're exposed to the sun, they add a bunch of plant extracts. I was a bit worried that my sensitive skin would react to the extract, but so far it's all good. There is a There are differences between the old and new formula. The new one is more oily than the old one. You will need some powder. 2. The new one is not as hard. It's better for a darker skin tone. If you have a light skin tone, the old primer was better. 3. The new one does not have green tea extract. The smell was replaced with a bunch of herbal extracts. This can be good or bad. I'm happy with it. There is a The old formula has a superior primer effect and more matt. My skin seems to like them both. On June 24, there was an update. The 3 oz tube lasts a long time. It's not separated into layers like some oil base sunscreen. I can't see how much is left because the tube is not transparent. After 5 months of daily use on the face, I think there's still around a quarter left. My skin is mostly clear now besides some occasional monthly cysts. Will continue to use it. It's a good thing. I have a dry and sensitive skin, and it's the worst combination ever. Since my favorite sunscreen was discontinued, I have been searching for a replacement. I'm looking for everything in a sunscreen, and this is the first one that has it. It has a matt finish. It acts like a primer. On the day I need to wear a makeup, I can put powder and concealer on top of it. On the day that I don't need a full coverage, I mix in a bit of foundation to "color" it. There is a The ingredients are full of vitamins and minerals. The first 4 ingredients are known as acne fighters. I have been using it for 10 days and it has exceeded my expectations. My skin has gotten smaller and my inflammation has gone away. This has never happened before except when I used 10% benzoyl peroxide, which causes my skin redness and flaky, so I had to stop using it. My skin is no longer red or dry. There is a The pros and cons of using a gel-like moisturizer or a vitamin C serum is that it tends to peel off when put on top of a sunscreen. I mix a drop of oil with the cream. If you're not prone to the kind of skin problems I am, you should use olive oil. There is a I hope people use it more so Babo doesn't stop it. I hope I don't have to look for a new sunscreen. That was not enjoyable.

Brand: Reef Repair

👤I bought a travel SPF 50 two pack of sunscreens for my trip to Hawaii. I was in the sun for 10 days and did not burn. The smaller size was perfect for my day pack because the cream stayed on well and it was smooth. I applied to the exposed areas after showering in the morning. It spreads well. I rubbed in any white zinc that didn't immediately absorb it. You can see water beaded up on my leg. I used one tube every 5 days. The product is reef safe. Mahalo.

👤Had to get an animal. Friendly sunscreen for snorkling in the Caribbean but didn't want a big bottle or tube. Is thicker than usual and takes more. I'm not sure how well it worked as I still have a lot of freckles, but it was on a longsleeve UV protection shirt, so I'm not sure how much it helped on legs. It's not possible to get simolar prodicts for less at local stores.

👤This product is terrible. This sunscreen does not protect you, despite what others say. After an hour of water activity, it says on the directions. It did not work for half the time in the water. The sun screen didn't seem to work very well without water activity. Not buying this product again. I don't think it will work again in the future because I'm getting rid of the rest. There is a The company kindly issued a refund for this sunscreen since it did not work as described in the review. Well done, Reef repair.

👤The scent is nice, but that is all I can say about this product. I scrubbed my skin off with my towel/water and used something else. I tried it twice and it burned both times. I felt like a sunburn because my skin felt dry from the burning and scrubbing. I have no idea how well it works to prevent sunburn. I don't have sensitive skin. Most products don't bother me. It doesn't soak in like a zinc-based cream.

👤I purchased this product because I wanted to help protect the reef. It didn't work as a sunscreen. If you rubbed it in and zinc oxide was applied as directed, it would not block the sun, but it would prevent it from setting. I walked on the beach for an hour and everywhere I applied sunscreen, it was burnt. It was worse than had I worn nothing. It might work better as tanning oil because of the coconut oil, avocado oil, andShea butter in it. I can't recommend this product.

👤It wasn't really a protection against the sun on the island. Maybe in a backyard pool.

👤Both adults and children used on our trip to Hawaii. It's easy to apply and last. Kids were not upset that it was put on.

👤I burn in about 5 minutes on the beach, but I didn't turn pink while we were on vacation. Good stuff.

3. Alba Botanica Sensitive Fragrance Sunscreen

Alba Botanica Sensitive Fragrance Sunscreen

Alba Botanica Sensitive Mineral Fragrance Free SPF 30 Sunscreen Lotion has a tube. The sunscreen is made with botanical ingredients. It is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. No oxybenzone, octinoxate or gluten. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends it.

Brand: Alba Botanica

👤After we decided to switch from chemical sunscreen to physical sunscreen, I bought 4 different types of physical sunscreens to see which one I liked the most. I would not recommend it based on how it applied or made my skin feel. It is difficult to compare the feel of physical and chemical sunscreens because physical sunscreens are harder to apply and rub in. A quick primer is physical work by containing active mineral ingredients that sit on top of your skin. Chemical sunscreens turn UV rays into heat. The sunscreens that I tried were listed first. The ranking is based on ease of application and overall feel, since all 4 sunscreens protected me from the sun. Top 2 are recommended, bottom 2 are not. The recommended baby is the Blue Lizard Baby.

👤The product provided no protection from the sun. Two of my family members came back from a field event with very bad burns, despite applying the lotion multiple times during the day. The tube went into the trash. I will be giving feedback on their website. Don't spend your money on it.

👤I will be honest. I was expecting it to smell better. It has a fruity scent, but it was mostly chemical to me. It was easy to apply and didn't leave any film of white. This product didn't seem like spf 30 to me. I used it in Hawaii. If I use spf 30 I don't get any color at all and don't burn, but if I use spf 15 I may tan but also burn. I got a pretty deep tan but didn't burn. I have fair-med skin. If you're in a tropical location and don't want any color at all, I would recommend a highter spf. There is a If this review was helpful, you should click the "thumbs-up" button. I was not paid to write this review.

👤This sunscreen has a lot of natural extracts in it, but it is also filled with a long list of synthetic ingredients. It looks like you just added a lot of plant extracts to your synthetic sunscreen. I did a patch test and it didn't make my skin itch, but since I was looking for a sunscreen based on natural ingredients, this didn't fit the bill. I'm still looking for a natural sunscreen.

👤I've been using this product for a long time. It's not greasy and it doesn't bother my skin. It makes my skin appear a bit pale because it is a physical sunscreen. I wear this product on my face, neck, and hands for many years. I have no complaints. It protects my skin from the sun. There is a I have to purchase this scent free version online because my local organic grocer stopped selling it. The customers want scent free. This product does what it is supposed to do.

👤I stopped using this product because it was drying and not emolient. The cast contains titanium dioxide and it's what happens! It was like spreading toothpaste on your skin. It left my hands dry. This was the downside of zinc oxide. It has been improved. It doesn't feel like it's so dry now, it rubs in better and the white cast disappears. If you want a mineral sunscreen that stays on the surface of your skin and is not harmful to the environment, you need a good percentage of zinc. You can get sun exposure right away. You have to wait 20 minutes for chemical sunscreens to absorb into your skin, not to mention what they do to the environment. No smart person!

4. Skinnies Sungel Formula Sunscreen Diluted

Skinnies Sungel Formula Sunscreen Diluted

Water doesn't protect you from the sun. Normal sunscreens are made using water. They decided to take the water out. Skinnies is better for the environment because they don't waste water and the sunscreen acts like a concentrate on your skin doing what it should for longer. Skinnies Sungel SPF30 uses advanced Organogel to create a layer that bonds to the top of your skin so the sunscreen filters stay in place. A pea size blob is all you need for your face, neck and ears. Skinnies is a light apricot color gel that rubs in clear for instant. Skinnies offer long- lasting SPF30 UVA and UVB broad spectrum protection, and won't sting eyes when you get active or sweat. Skinnies has a smart gel that responds to hot and cold temperature, so it doesn't degrade in heat when at the beach or in the cold when in the snow. The Editors' Choice Award at the outdoor retailer was won by Popular Mechanics. Runners World was the winner of the Editors' Choice Award. The Best New Brand Award was won by Allure. REEF SAFE. Skinnies is vegan and water resistant. Does not contain any drugs. Skinnies complies with Hawaii Sunscreen Bill.

Brand: Skinnies

👤I like the way it feels on my skin. The consistency is similar to leaving a face stick in the sun. I could wear it under makeup and it didn't feel heavy. It felt good. There is a I expected great customer service, but when I contacted Skinnies directly to let them know my product only had a couple of months left, they said their manufacturer put the wrong date on it. When I ran out, they told me to reach out again and give me a coupon. That sounds like an excuse to me. There are two more After the second or third use, the tube feels half empty. There are lots of air pockets. If you use a pea sized amount, it feels like you're rubbing dry skin, so you end up using more than they say to use. There are 3 more The tube broke. The top of the tube came unglued and the product started coming out both ends. I don't think that makes me confident on their process. There are four The product gave me a rash. I have sensitive skin and can break out, but I have never in 39 years gotten a rash like this from sunscreen. I have tried them all. This is a sunscreen and not a sunblock, but my kids tend to get very dark in the sun and this product didn't seem to stop that, so I'm not listing it as a con. Maybe they were protected from the harmful UV rays, but I am going back to our white zinc oxide.

👤It works as a sunscreen, but it is greasy and doesn't have a strong scent. Sometimes you can squeeze out the separated oil from the emulsified product. It doesn't "dry down" like other sunscreens. It stays greasy. It's like using a product on your skin.

👤I wanted it to not feel gross on my face after many applications. It doesn't feel as gross and greasy as normal sunscreens do, and I can definitely tell that there is something on my face when I touch it with my hands. It feels light on my face and I don't want to wash it off when I get home. I messaged the company and they said it is still safe to use if the coconut oil gets warm. I spent a week out in the sun at 10,000 feet elevation working cattle and I didn't burn. Despite the separation, it still worked great. It was easy to apply and spread over my face and neck, without needing a lot of rubbing in. I would recommend it. I didn't burn, it was light, and it was quick to reapply.

👤I have pale skin. The sun is not a regular thing for me in the PNW. When I see the sun, I need to wear sunscreen. I don't like the feeling of sunscreen on my skin. I have to apply it to hot and sweaty skin. There is a This stuff is not bad. I put it on a light layer in a cool place and let it set. It lasts all day from there. I have to apply sunscreen every hour or so, but this stuff lasts. My pale winter skin did not burn after one morning application of this stuff, after I spent a week at Disney World. I am in awe. There is a You have to plan the application to keep from getting greasy skin, and a little goes a long way. This stuff is worth it.

5. Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen Resistant

Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen Resistant

This isTINTED SUN PROTECTION. SPF 50. A makeup base or a cream can be used with tinted sunscreen. The weightless sunblock blends into most skin tones and is water resistant up to 80 minutes. The non-chemical SPF 50 formula with Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide offers broad-spectrum protection that blocks and protects against harmful UVA and UVB rays. BLESSED WITH AUSTRALIAN BOOTANICALS - Formulated with soothing ingredients like Kakadu Plum, with the highest Vitamins C and E content, which fight free radicals and nourish the skin. This tinted facial sunscreen is made for every day adventures and is free of any fragrances. It provides good protection from the sun. Excellent for daily use. The range of sunscreens for children, toddlers and adults is free of harmful substances. It is tested for both diseases. Not tested on animals.

Brand: Australian Gold

👤This stuff works. My son tried to put the sunscreen on himself before he went out. He missed half of his back because he was born with one hand. You can see the difference. He was in the pool all the time. About 2 hours.

👤I work at the YMCA as a lifeguard and swim instructor, and I spend between 4 and 7 hours in the sun and pool each day. I have very sensitive skin, so I'm interested in covering it up. I burn badly when I use Neutrogena sunscreens in the pool because they wash off after an hour. Even after getting my face wet to let it'soak in', it still runs into my eyes, and I burn through many of them. This product doesn't run because it's a very thick consistency, and since it's zinc and not a chemical sunscreen, I don't break out as badly. Since this is tinted, it doesn't leave a white cast, and I don't have to wear anything to cover my skin, it keeps my skin tone even in the pool where I don't have the option of wearing something. Even if you rub your face with your hands, it will stay on for a while. This is designed for light to medium skin tones and there is only one shade, so it's not in different shade options. A person with a medium to deep skin tone would not be able to wear this without a cast on their skin. It looks tan on me when I use it, but once I rub it in it isn't as intense as it looks when you first see it. It appears orange in some lighting, but once rubbed in it is not orange anymore. I started using this about 2 months ago. I have been using this product for two months and have been getting some new skin problems, but I'm pretty sure it's because of hormones, not the sunscreen. There is a I would recommend this to anyone with light to medium skin tones who wants a thick, powerful sunscreen that lasts and doesn't have the white cast.

👤I bought this because it was recommended by hotn flashy. I don't think this is a good product for mature skin. I don't think it's good for a mature face to be protected from the sun.

👤I am not a makeup type of person. The less, the better. I've been wanting something to help my complexion but it's still not very useful. The tinted facial SPF is here. Most things are dark for me because I am fair skinned. Surprisingly, this is not. It's enough to even things out a bit, but I can't tell. It is one of the least greasy sunscreens I've tried. There is a I have half of my face done. The product is on the right side of my picture. Tl;dr... I would buy this again.

👤OK. I was looking for a tinted moisturizer and found ILIA which is expensive. After sending in my photos to get color matched, I went to get it again, but this time I ended up with a shade that wasn't for me. Ilia was too oily and didn't give good coverage. There is a It matches me more perfectly than anything I have ever ordered off Amazon. It's absolutely zero white cast, blends in and soaks in. It is a higher SPF. It is a fraction of the price of the brands at the store. It doesn't feel like you have to pay attention when you blend it because it gradually dries and soaks into your face. I feel like I can get out the door after putting my face cream on because I have no other time to do my make up. There is a I am returning the stuff I bought at the store because they do it all for free. I have used a tinted sunscreen from Josie Maran for a long time and it looked a bit oily. I wish I had found it sooner. You will not regret buying this!

6. TropicSport Sunscreen Spectrum Resistant Friendly

TropicSport Sunscreen Spectrum Resistant Friendly

Tropicsport is reef friendly and made without harsh active chemical ingredients. They spent 6 years formulating a sunscreen that is free of all three of them. The only active ingredients in their sunscreen are zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, which are both safe for humans. The best water resistance is passed by both the U.S. and Australian tests. It lasts up to 3x longer than other sunscreens. This is the only sunscreen that lasts this long. You should reapply at least every 2 hours to maintain the best protection. Surfers demand the best sun protection for long periods in the water in the most extreme water environments. It is safe for the whole family. For children under 6 months old, ask a doctor before using baby sunscreen. Everyone in your family should be protected from the sun with broad spectrum coverage and no active chemicals. It's safe for all skin types. No thick, goopy white look, goes on clear, goes a long way. They use Zinc which dries your skin. You use less of it if you use mineral sunscreen. Their sunscreen reflects the sun's rays and sits on top of your skin. Other sunscreens enter your bloodstream. Theirs does not.

Brand: Tropicsport

👤I bought this before I went to Bonaire. I live in south Florida and work in the field so I use sunscreen to prevent burning. I decided to try the TropicSport because of their own advertisements about the safety of the coral and the effectiveness on the skin. I applied sunscreen to my head and neck before each dive and did it again after. I had a one hour surface interval between dives and an extended surface interval around lunch. The top of my head, ears, nose, and back of my neck were fried on Monday. I'm talking about alobster red and it's very painful to touch. How could this happen? I applied this stuff in the morning before breakfast, then reapplied between dive 1 and 2, and then reapplied between dive 3 and 4. I use regular sunscreen. I made sure it was rubbed in well after applying liberally. I know how to protect myself from the sun. I know how to deal with the sun. It is extremely dangerous for those of us who depend on it from day to day. I found a dive shop that sells a dive hood made in the USA. My head, ears, and neck were covered by a bib. I used this the rest of the week to cover the burned skin. This product is terrible.

👤It was tried multiple times before swimming. After just an hour or so outside on the beach, one of us never even went in the water, we got severely sunburned, never fully absorbed into skin, hard to wash off in the shower.

👤This product is very effective and not harmful to coral. I use it daily as a preventative against skin cancer because I live in a sunny environment. TropicSport performs as advertised. It is a bit thick and takes a bit of time to absorb into the skin, so I have a white cast to my face for 15-20 minutes, and it takes a little more effort to apply and distribute around my face, hands and arms.

👤My family and I just returned from a week in Maui, where we puttropic sport through its paces. It is easy to apply a mineral-based sunblock, it can sometimes leave a slight white tint to the skin, but it is better than a sunburn. I would call this product a keeper because I would take a little white face for a few hours over a red burn, all week we played in the surf and at the pool and no sunburns. I will buy more for the next vacation because we used our bottle all up. It is a bit pricey per ounce.

👤I was looking for a sunscreen that would help block those rays, because I love to be tan, but burnt, not so much. The resort sells a little 2oz bottle for as little as $65, which is good for the coral reef and won't harm the environment. It's better to get the bigger one and just throw it in the luggage. My summer base tan was gone by the time it hit mid-Oct, so I was hoping for the best. We spent a full week in Aruba and I didn't burn a single time. I was very happy with the sunscreen. It did better than I thought. It doesn't make you greasy. There is no funny smell. It works. And works well. It's a worthwhile purchase for a stellar sunscreen that can hold up against water, sweat, sand, and so on.

7. Banana Boat Sunscreen Performance Spectrum

Banana Boat Sunscreen Performance Spectrum

Water can be resistant to 80 minutes. There is a spray that is invisible. No cap, twist and lock spray.

Brand: Banana Boat

👤The title and text say it's reef friendly and safe for use near natural reefs, but all of the active ingredients on the back are banned in Hawaii. If you're using this sunscreen outside of a pool, you may be damaging our environment. Our reefs are being killed by the chemicals in sunscreens in the ocean, so lakes and rivers may be fine, but not there. Even if I didn't care about that, it feels like an LIE to put "reef safe" on the label and heading of the product when it's clearly not! There is a I can't use this sunscreen because I don't want to hurt my skin. I am out the money because I am not able to return it because it is considered a dangerous item to ship. I paid for the items.

👤The product is either counterfeit or factory seconds as it does not work. This product has been used by us before and we like it. I had to apply the product every 30 minutes, but it didn't prevent sunburn. I bought a new can of the same stuff from a store. It worked the next day. Someone is wrong with this lot. This item can cause injury if they are removed from sale.

👤There are zero stars from this family. We are walking around with blisters and burns. I wondered how anyone would want to give a review with zero stars. Well, I wish I could, but here's why. The product is not effective at preventing sunburns. When it comes to my children, I use a religious sunscreen. I had my usual sunscreen with me. I thought I'd bring more backup. I bought this banana boat sunscreen spf 30 because my usual coppertone was out of stock. There is a I was able to use what I had left of our coppertone sunscreen on the first day. A whole day in the river. We went to the river for 2 days. I didn't know that this banana boat sunscreen would fail my family and I on day 2. We applied regardless of whether we were in the water or not. I applied the product and waited for it to dry so my children could play in and out of the water. We usually use the same brand as I do. I put my faith in this. It did not work and my family and I both suffered from burns from the top of our feet all the way to the tips of our ears. I apply this banana boat sunscreen to all places. How can a product fail so badly? Photos of my burns have been included. I would look twice at this product if I were you. Don't buy it. If you try to prevent sunburn with this product, you will be Miserable. I will return the faulty sunscreen for a refund. I just hunted for the coppertone and I wish I had done it earlier. The banana boat will never get a dime from me. Don't sacrifice your skin for money. I hope I can save people from reading this review. I am unable to return this product because it is dangerous. Go figure. I will write Banana Boat directly and see if it makes a difference. I still have faith in my review. Unless you like sunburns, don't buy.

8. Sun Bum Moisturizing Protection Hypoallergenic

Sun Bum Moisturizing Protection Hypoallergenic

The original SPF 50 sun screen lotion is still in use. They use this every day. It was the formula that started it all. People say it smells like summer. They like that. The Original formula is their favorite because it is easy to use and they can spend a lazy day at the beach or just hang out. Sun protection is Mokturian. The sunscreen is non-comedogenic and is packed with vitamins. Their oil-free, water-resistant and reef friendly. SPF 50 is great for all skin types. How to use. 15 minutes before sun exposure, apply liberally to all areas of the skin and avoid the eye area. After 80 minutes of sweating or swimming, apply for the best results. Sonny has a tip. For maximum sun protection, apply every 2 hours. Protect your skin. The key to practicing safe sun is to protect your skin. Their Original Sunscreen line is Hypoallergenic, Octinoxate,Gluten, and Paraben Free to ensure a fun day in the sun. The Bum is a good place to trust. What does that mean? It means that the people who live on the beach need products that work on the most intense days in the sun. When you make products to protect the ones you love, you make them better.

Brand: Sun Bum

👤I've used this before and have never had a problem. My whole family is burned badly, so this last batches must have been bad. We used it within a few days of delivery, so it wasn't old and we were not sitting around. We are in pain after the beach day and I wanted to include some pictures of us in my family. Was it sitting in the warehouse too long, or was it the wrong temp? After this, I don't know if I can ever trust it again.

👤If you care about the environment, you should know that the SPF 70 contains a chemical that is banned in Hawaii for killing coral reefs. It is likely not vegan due to the presence of beeswax, stearates and glycerine. The lower SPFs seem to be okay. I'm just letting you know that the issues seem to be more clear on the Amazon page, but I'm not sure if they're important to you.

👤I have yet to use it outside, but I am glad that it doesn't give off an ashy after-affect.

👤I am a pale, pale lady with sensitive skin who loves the outdoors and has used every sunscreen product on the planet. I've done cheap and expensive sunscreens, as well as natural and organic sunscreens. I used to use Banana Boat Kid SPF 50, but it left a white mark on my skin and everywhere else. I stuck with it despite the fact that it didn't work. Until now. There is a This is the best. I was the first person in my life to come back from a vacation without a burn, after buying it for a trip to Mexico. It worked all day from one application, even after multiple trips into the ocean. I wish there was a fragrance-free option. There is very little skin to clothing transfer. I didn't end up looking like I was signing up for kabuki theater. There is a It's hard to find a sunscreen that you can apply and forget about all day, not having to constantly worry about reapplication, or looking like you've just brushed white paint all over your body, when you're super-pale. I think I found a weapon.

👤This stuff did a number on my eyes. I wear sunscreen daily, typically I buy Blue Lizard, but I thought I would give this stuff a try since it had great reviews. There is a One of my eyeballs was on fire all night. It was terrible. It is tearing up. Never again. I washed my hands after applying, but I didn't get it near my eyes. Thanks for the eye damage!

👤I can't use the scent on my face. It makes my eyes burn. I thought it was an allergy. I tried it again the next day and it was the same thing - watery eyes and a burning feeling. I didn't see it in my eyes. It was fine after I washed it off. I have to use Neutrogena on the face to use it for my legs. When my husband tried it, he burned his eyes.

👤So... I did a lot of research before buying this. I wanted something that wouldn't harm the environment and wouldn't harm our water. It's a small step, but it makes me feel good. I was hesitant at first but I am very happy that I went with this brand. My kids are already asking me to empty out all the sunscreen because it's in a wooden case, and I love the packaging. The paste is not oily and toxic like the copertone spray the wife loves around the pool. It rubs in to my skin. I have not gotten burned in surf sessions yet, but I am still getting the hang of it. When you leave it in a cold car, you have to warm it up to make it soft. It's ready to go when I get to my destination because I put it next to my tush and used my car seat heater. This product is really good.

👤I am 40 years old and very careful with my sun exposure since I suffer from melasma which is very difficult to treat and is triggered by sunlight. I also surf. Zinka, a physical barrier which usually stayed on during surf, made me break out and also felt sticky, so I've tried all types of sunscreens and sunblocks over the years. I am glad I tried this product because it is the best and I will be using it for the rest of my life. There is a This product stays on. I would come out after a few hours and look in the mirror to see if it was still on. I can't promise that you won't get any sun exposure with this because my skin did get darker and my freckles did get darker, but I only wore this product while surfing and not at other times. After 3 weeks of daily surfing, I did not get a new freckle or sunspot, despite taking a before and after picture of my freckles. There is a Skin safe, goes on dry, no greasy feeling, no hair flying into your face, and sting good are some of the Pros. Pricey Goes on white/chalky, I like this because I know it's still on. It's a little hard to apply, but also why it stays on so well. I highly recommend this product if you need to protect your face.

👤I couldn't find the Australian made sunscreen so I bought this. For a long time, I had grown to rely on it. I bought a few other sun pastes. She is the best. It blends in well with my skin because it is smooth. I have to have complete coverage because I spend a lot of time in the ocean. It is not sticky like other sunscreens and I really like that about it as I have to clean the goop off the interior of my car and anything else that comes in contact with the sticky sunscreens. It has six all-natural ingredients. Great product!

10. Banana Boat Protect Sunscreen Ingredients

Banana Boat Protect Sunscreen Ingredients

Mineral enriched sunscreen is available in the spray so you don't have to take sun care. Rub into the skin. High endURANCE vs. low end. SWEAT is sun protection that stays on so you can play. SPECTRUM COVERAGE protects you from the harmful rays of the sun. The superior formula is water and sweat resistant. It's light and non-greasy, making it perfect for everyday fun. REEF FRIENDLY is made without oxybenzone or octinoxate.

Brand: Banana Boat

👤The add above says that the product is reef safe, but when you look at the ingredients list, you see that it is not reef safe. They list that none of these are in the product, but you will find that every one of them is on the not safe for the reef. Don't buy this and think you're doing something to the environment. I have requested a refund.

👤The listing for this item was different between the time I ordered and when I received the shipment notification. I've used and liked the old formula of this sunscreen and reordered the same version. The formula and packaging have changed. I would not have ordered it because it is now 100% mineral. It is definitely a different product and they should have created a new listing for it. It is very confusing and annoying. I will use it on my kids as they don't mind a white cast, so I won't have to go back.

👤I use spray on kind because I am a big sunscreen user. Usually. I have had great experiences with Banana Boat products, but it has been a while. My go-to is usually a store brand spray. I decided to give it a try. I was surprised to find that it sprays on in a thick film, which defeats the purpose of a spray, it doesn't spray evenly, and it felt heavy. I did not get sun burn. I was aware that the product was on my skin. I will stick with my store brands.

👤One can not last long. Maybe one day. If you're going to go on a trip in the sun, you're going to need at least one of these per day. My husband and I went on a cruise in French Polynesia. We had to buy sunscreen on the third day. It blends in. The spray into hand method will keep you out of the wind. I will not be buying this type again. I bought it because it was cheap. Not a good choice.

👤I needed a sunscreen and purchased the spray and lotion for its reef safe claim. I hope it didn't hurt the reef because it didn't work as a sunscreen. Every person in my family has used this liberally and applied it frequently. We bought a different product at the resort gift shop which worked better than the one we had been using.

👤I thought it would smell like bananas, but the good news is that it doesn't. I wish it wouldn't sting my eyes when it starts melting into the skin. I eventually feel the burn when I avoid the eye area. I wish I didn't have to buy 3 tubes at the same time. It was recommended by a health magazine as the go-to sun blocker. I went to Amazon for the 3-tuber because local stores didn't carry it. I know the sun block properties of a product only last a year or two, so it's unfortunate that I have a lifetime supply.

👤The sunscreen is not reef friendly. There is a 25 to 60 million bottles of sunscreen wash off into coral reef areas each year. sunscreens with oxybenzone, octocrylene, 4MBC, butylparaben and octinoxate are not recommended. Some sunscreens say they're "reef safe", but they're not.

👤I don't know where the crazy people in the reviews get their information, they talk about chemicals and not reef friendly. They claim they're right. If you're worried about the reef, make sure to avoid sunscreens, nail polish, soap, and bathing suits if you've eaten beans, cabbage, or vinegar in the last 24 hours. There is a If the company lied to you about being reef friendly, they would be sued and have their labels removed. People who lie in the Amazon review section get paid. There is a This stuff is good. Sun Bum, which runs white all over your body, is thick and hard to spread, and offers no protection from the sun. Panama Jack doesn't smell, doesn't run, and my skin feels fine after hours in the sun. The factors of a sun screen are those.

👤It seems to have some kind of protection. It is non-greasy. Spreads are easy. It doesn't leave anything. It doesn't stink like regular sunscreen. It doesn't hurt the eyes. It doesn't cause my allergies like normal sunscreen does. It's better than neutrogena.

👤We were staying at a hotel in FL in the 1980's and someone from Panama Jack gave a presentation about their products. We've used them for 30 years. They have no alcohol and are better for your skin. I only use products from Panama Jack. I have good skin and am almost 60 years old. Thank you PJ!

👤I had high hopes for this product. It works well, but it smells terrible. I couldn't wait to wash myself off because of the strong scent. I wish I could return it, but I have already used it. Big thumbs down!

👤It's the same sun block I've used before.

👤I love Panama Jack sunscreen. It makes my skin feel good.
