1. Alba Botanica Sensitive Fragrance Sunscreen

Alba Botanica Sensitive Fragrance Sunscreen

Alba Botanica Sensitive Mineral Fragrance Free SPF 30 Sunscreen Lotion has a tube. The sunscreen is made with botanical ingredients. It is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. No oxybenzone, octinoxate or gluten. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends it.

Brand: Alba Botanica

👤After we decided to switch from chemical sunscreen to physical sunscreen, I bought 4 different types of physical sunscreens to see which one I liked the most. I would not recommend it based on how it applied or made my skin feel. It is difficult to compare the feel of physical and chemical sunscreens because physical sunscreens are harder to apply and rub in. A quick primer is physical work by containing active mineral ingredients that sit on top of your skin. Chemical sunscreens turn UV rays into heat. The sunscreens that I tried were listed first. The ranking is based on ease of application and overall feel, since all 4 sunscreens protected me from the sun. Top 2 are recommended, bottom 2 are not. The recommended baby is the Blue Lizard Baby.

👤The product provided no protection from the sun. Two of my family members came back from a field event with very bad burns, despite applying the lotion multiple times during the day. The tube went into the trash. I will be giving feedback on their website. Don't spend your money on it.

👤I will be honest. I was expecting it to smell better. It has a fruity scent, but it was mostly chemical to me. It was easy to apply and didn't leave any film of white. This product didn't seem like spf 30 to me. I used it in Hawaii. If I use spf 30 I don't get any color at all and don't burn, but if I use spf 15 I may tan but also burn. I got a pretty deep tan but didn't burn. I have fair-med skin. If you're in a tropical location and don't want any color at all, I would recommend a highter spf. There is a If this review was helpful, you should click the "thumbs-up" button. I was not paid to write this review.

👤This sunscreen has a lot of natural extracts in it, but it is also filled with a long list of synthetic ingredients. It looks like you just added a lot of plant extracts to your synthetic sunscreen. I did a patch test and it didn't make my skin itch, but since I was looking for a sunscreen based on natural ingredients, this didn't fit the bill. I'm still looking for a natural sunscreen.

👤I've been using this product for a long time. It's not greasy and it doesn't bother my skin. It makes my skin appear a bit pale because it is a physical sunscreen. I wear this product on my face, neck, and hands for many years. I have no complaints. It protects my skin from the sun. There is a I have to purchase this scent free version online because my local organic grocer stopped selling it. The customers want scent free. This product does what it is supposed to do.

👤I stopped using this product because it was drying and not emolient. The cast contains titanium dioxide and it's what happens! It was like spreading toothpaste on your skin. It left my hands dry. This was the downside of zinc oxide. It has been improved. It doesn't feel like it's so dry now, it rubs in better and the white cast disappears. If you want a mineral sunscreen that stays on the surface of your skin and is not harmful to the environment, you need a good percentage of zinc. You can get sun exposure right away. You have to wait 20 minutes for chemical sunscreens to absorb into your skin, not to mention what they do to the environment. No smart person!

Made in the USA mineral sunscreen is safe for both your skin and the ocean. Eco-friendly packaging made from sugarcane. The purchase includes tubes of travel size sunscreen.

Brand: Stream 2 Sea

👤You look like a crazy person because of the thick white residue. It won't stick to your skin. My family got sun burned when it didn't protect the skin, even though it may protect the reef. If you are a person of color, forget it. It looks like you just took a milk bath and then covered yourself in a thick white film. You will be embarrassed going out with it on your skin. We ended up throwing it out because of the bad sunburns and the look/feel, but I am all about saving the reef. Unfortunately, don't recommend.

👤The sunscreen is terrible. I bought the 3 pack to protect us from the sun on the beach. It doesn't absorb into the skin at all and looked ridiculous, so people avoided using it, and ended up with sun poisoning. Even those that did use it ended up burning. I brought a horrible sunscreen for everyone and will never buy it again.

👤I like that this product is reef safe, but it stayed white on my skin after rubbing in. I looked like a ghost when I rubbed. I spent a lot of money on this product and it looked terrible.

👤Does not fit in with the skin. Very sticky.

👤I thought I was ordering a normal size. These are very small. My mistake, but what a sad end to it.

👤It is approved for coral safety. The bottles are the right size for travel. I don't like that it's very expensive per ounce.

👤I would use this product again on my next vacation.

👤It looks white. They're reef friendly. These seem bigger than they are. They're small. Before purchase, check the oz.

3. Thinksport Safe Sunscreen Cream Ounce

Thinksport Safe Sunscreen Cream Ounce

Natural protection is safe. SPF 50 sun protection is provided by Thinksport Kids sunscreen. The broad spectrum UVA & UVB children's sunblock is suitable for daily use on kids' sensitive skin, offering gentle defense against the sun's rays. It is easy to apply. Kids hate standing still, so this hydrating sun cream is quick and easy to apply. The fast absorbing children's sun lotion won't leave skin feeling oily or sticky, and has no unpleasant chemical scent. There is a clean mineral formULA. Thinksport vegan, Leaping Bunny certified sun creams are the first to pass Whole Foods Premium Care requirements and contain no harmful chemicals. Water retention is a problem. Your child can play in the water. Their children's sun cream has the highest water resistance of any sun cream on the market, meaning that it will give kids continuous protection for up to 80 minutes in the pool or sea before the sunscreen should be re-applied. REEF FRIENDLY: It is safe for children and the earth. Their sunscreen is made in the USA and has no harmful chemicals in it, and it is very easy to use.

Brand: Thinksport

👤I bought some after I heard about it from a few friends. I like that it was for a great price on Amazon. It is over 50. Despite sweating, swimming, etc., the sport variety can be used. My kids are very active, but they don't like putting on sunscreen. I want something that keeps them safe from the sun and chemicals in sunscreen, and that stays on for a while. All of my boxes are checked. We tell our kids we are going to make them look like a ghost, t-Rex, lion, and anything they like when we do sunscreen on them. We tell them to scare the other parent so they don't get scared and the only way for the other parent to stop being scared is to rub the sunscreen on. This has been working for a while now so I will take it. If it helps you, that's great!

👤We all got a very bad sunburn after applying very liberally and more than once in a 2 hour time frame. It was listed as an EWG top natural sunscreen. I've been using Blue Lizzard for a long time and never had anything like this before. I don't know if summer time shipping with the heat degrades the product. I bought Blue Lizzard at the height of summer. This product is supposed to be SPF50, but it didn't come close to the protection of its competitor. Very dissatisfied and burned very badly!

👤I have used think baby sunscreen for a long time and have always liked it. I am sorry that I switched to thinksport since they are getting older. We were out in the sun for 3 hours with 2 liberal applications and both of my children have terrible sunburns. I used to apply with the think baby, so there should have been no way to get this badly burnt. I will not be using this sunscreen again.

👤I spent a week on the beach. Couldn't ask for more. It has a bit of a white tint, but rubbing it in and applying it in sections makes it seem less noticeable. This is an issue for my teen. I don't care. I want to play in the water and not get burned. I didn't have to worry about my son's eyes getting wet from most sunscreens, it was waterproof, and my sensitive skin didn't get dry. A 6oz tube with multiple daily applications lasted the three of us for a week.

👤If you want to use a physical barrier, it's best to use one that's chemical-barrier-free. Thinksport is usually a good price and it works well, even though most of them are expensive. There is a Thinksport regular, kids, and baby are all the same product, except regular has a different scent.

👤I spent a lot of time researching different sunscreens in an attempt to find one with the least amount of toxic chemicals. When I read through the ingredients, I was very happy and I bought it. I was not sold yet. There is a My family and I went to Florida for a week in October. We were all sweating a lot for most of the day. We applied this sunscreen at the beginning of the day. We did not get a sunburn. Not even my toddler. There is a I am very happy with this product. I don't see why I should buy anything else.

4. Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen Resistant

Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen Resistant

This isTINTED SUN PROTECTION. SPF 50. A makeup base or a cream can be used with tinted sunscreen. The weightless sunblock blends into most skin tones and is water resistant up to 80 minutes. The non-chemical SPF 50 formula with Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide offers broad-spectrum protection that blocks and protects against harmful UVA and UVB rays. BLESSED WITH AUSTRALIAN BOOTANICALS - Formulated with soothing ingredients like Kakadu Plum, with the highest Vitamins C and E content, which fight free radicals and nourish the skin. This tinted facial sunscreen is made for every day adventures and is free of any fragrances. It provides good protection from the sun. Excellent for daily use. The range of sunscreens for children, toddlers and adults is free of harmful substances. It is tested for both diseases. Not tested on animals.

Brand: Australian Gold

👤This stuff works. My son tried to put the sunscreen on himself before he went out. He missed half of his back because he was born with one hand. You can see the difference. He was in the pool all the time. About 2 hours.

👤I work at the YMCA as a lifeguard and swim instructor, and I spend between 4 and 7 hours in the sun and pool each day. I have very sensitive skin, so I'm interested in covering it up. I burn badly when I use Neutrogena sunscreens in the pool because they wash off after an hour. Even after getting my face wet to let it'soak in', it still runs into my eyes, and I burn through many of them. This product doesn't run because it's a very thick consistency, and since it's zinc and not a chemical sunscreen, I don't break out as badly. Since this is tinted, it doesn't leave a white cast, and I don't have to wear anything to cover my skin, it keeps my skin tone even in the pool where I don't have the option of wearing something. Even if you rub your face with your hands, it will stay on for a while. This is designed for light to medium skin tones and there is only one shade, so it's not in different shade options. A person with a medium to deep skin tone would not be able to wear this without a cast on their skin. It looks tan on me when I use it, but once I rub it in it isn't as intense as it looks when you first see it. It appears orange in some lighting, but once rubbed in it is not orange anymore. I started using this about 2 months ago. I have been using this product for two months and have been getting some new skin problems, but I'm pretty sure it's because of hormones, not the sunscreen. There is a I would recommend this to anyone with light to medium skin tones who wants a thick, powerful sunscreen that lasts and doesn't have the white cast.

👤I bought this because it was recommended by hotn flashy. I don't think this is a good product for mature skin. I don't think it's good for a mature face to be protected from the sun.

👤I am not a makeup type of person. The less, the better. I've been wanting something to help my complexion but it's still not very useful. The tinted facial SPF is here. Most things are dark for me because I am fair skinned. Surprisingly, this is not. It's enough to even things out a bit, but I can't tell. It is one of the least greasy sunscreens I've tried. There is a I have half of my face done. The product is on the right side of my picture. Tl;dr... I would buy this again.

👤OK. I was looking for a tinted moisturizer and found ILIA which is expensive. After sending in my photos to get color matched, I went to get it again, but this time I ended up with a shade that wasn't for me. Ilia was too oily and didn't give good coverage. There is a It matches me more perfectly than anything I have ever ordered off Amazon. It's absolutely zero white cast, blends in and soaks in. It is a higher SPF. It is a fraction of the price of the brands at the store. It doesn't feel like you have to pay attention when you blend it because it gradually dries and soaks into your face. I feel like I can get out the door after putting my face cream on because I have no other time to do my make up. There is a I am returning the stuff I bought at the store because they do it all for free. I have used a tinted sunscreen from Josie Maran for a long time and it looked a bit oily. I wish I had found it sooner. You will not regret buying this!

5. Amazon Brand Sunscreen Spectrum Protection

Amazon Brand Sunscreen Spectrum Protection

There is one bottle of Solimo Sport Sunscreen. It is water resistant for 80 minutes. They are proud of their products. If you don't like it, they'll give you a full refund within a year of purchase. 1-877-485-0385

Brand: Solimo

👤This is not reef safe and I am very disappointed. I bought this for a trip to Puerto Rico, where I was looking for reef safe sunscreen. I didn't learn Octocrylene is not reef safe until I got back. I would give this a rating of 0 to 5 stars. This didn't have a bad smell, was good sun protection, didn't leave a white cast, and didn't give me an allergic reaction. I have sensitive skin due to the autoimmune condition. I have had an allergic reaction to all of the sunscreens I have tried, but only the one that is SPF 19 and not water resistant is the one I have used. I am pale and burn easily, and this sunscreen worked great. There wasn't a white cast. It didn't feel sticky or oily. I am very disappointed and angry that this is not reef safe, especially when advertised this way, as this is my new go to for all my non- reef activities.

👤I didn't burn after spending most of the day outside, and I put on sunscreen in the morning. This works for me because I do a lot of bicycling. One thing that I have had with other sunscreens is that I get a little in my eyes if I'm rubbing because of dust or something else, and this brand doesn't seem to irritate my eyes very much, which is a big plus.

👤Consumer Reports gave me the ratings on this sunscreen. When it came to sunscreens that meet the standard they advertise, it was one of the higher ranked options. The price is great. I'm a black woman, I don't burn, but I get darker after a few hours in the sun. I use sunscreen prior to going outside and use the medicine after returning inside to get rid ofyperpigmentation quicker. The sunscreen is similar to many drug store sunscreens. The smell is moderate and the white cast is easy to rub in. The shine I get is the only thing that stands out. I don't like the idea of a sunscreen with a lot of water in it. I can't speak on that. I don't feel like I've gotten that feel from a few others. I'll be buying more of this until I'm more comfortable in stores.

👤It seems to work as well as more expensive products. I prefer a scent that is not noticeable, and that applies quickly and easily. There is a yellow-brownish stain around the neckline of a white t-shirt that is my only issue with these products. The stain is actually derived from an iron compound in sunscreens. After a few washings with bleach, it will disappear. Online solutions suggest using things like lemon juice. Nothing seems to work quickly. I've thought about using CLR but haven't tried it.

👤I can't tell the difference between this and the name brand sunscreen. We need to send a bottle to school and daycare for my grandson, who is going through a lot of it. Working well is important to me. His teachers have asked where I got it because they like how easy it is. I don't like spray sunscreen as it's so inconsistent and you have to spread it on without missing any spots. You know where you applied the lotion. It has a white huge but it absorbs quickly and evenly. The scent is very light.

6. Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen

Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen

Blue LIZARD Sensitive sunscreen is made with no oxybenzone or Octinoxate. Zinc oxide and titanium Dioxide are mineral active ingredients that provide broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. It's ideal for sensitive skin because it's Paraben-free and fragrance-free. The container should be protected from excessive heat and direct sun. It's twice as long as Blue Lizard Original sensitive formula.

Brand: Blue Lizard

👤This stuff is very strong. I see this product all over the internet as amatologist recommended. Mineral sunscreen is the best for face and body. There is a When you start rubbing it in it becomes a ghastly kabuki clown white. Wait, be prepared to be shocked. It is on a scale of 1 to 10, no more than a 1.5 or 2. It is amazing. When the product squirts out, it appears thick, but when you rub it, it becomes clear. Even with my sensitive and thin skin, you don't have to rub in a lot. It is easy to wash off with soap and water. I trust the EWG to keep me safe because of the titanium dioxide mineral content and the high zinc oxide and zinc oxide content that assures me of the sun protection. I am applying a full 1/2 teaspooon to my face and neck. It seems like a lot but when it dries down, you will be happy to have enough on to make sure no more hyperpigmentation or dark spots appear. I am a Pacific island of descent. I would have to be out there all day to burn, and sunscreen is helping me to avoid further damage from my youth. sunscreen is important because I am treating my sun damage with retinol and lactic acid. This says a lot to me. I have only used a few of the sunscreens I tried. I like mineral over chemical. I like to buy cheap products. This one is close to being the one. The FDA proposed rating system will not pass the UVA rating according to the EWG. I am more interested in UVA protection than it claims, so it is not enough for me. I have turned down this sunscreen and lowered it to 1 star. The zinc oxide's actives mineral content is only 10%. The bare minimum protection is verified as not being the sunscreen for me. I threw the bottle away.

👤I was upset to see that this formula contained both aluminum and alumina. I would rather avoid questionable ingredients.

👤Not for people of color. This is how my skin looks on me. It feels very greasy. Disappointed! I used 1/2 of the amount they said for face and neck.

👤I hope this review helps someone. I have red hair and light skin. I went to Hawaii two months ago and it was amazing. I have always used various sunscreens, but they didn't give good protection, or if they did, I would get really itchy and uncomfortable skin when I washed my skin after being outside. There is a Good protection! I used a loofah and a body wash and it came off easily, but it was too white. I agree that it is very white, but if you massage it in for a few minutes, it will absorb and you can't see it. My friend who is very dark skinned used some and initially was a bit upset with the color. I told her to rub it in, but a few minutes later she couldn't tell. It's a good thing that it doesn't blend well at first, but you can see what you have covered and what you haven't. The amount of times I missed a spot is unbelievable. This is to protect you, not to look like a model.

7. EWG Highly Rated Non Mineral Sunscreen

EWG Highly Rated Non Mineral Sunscreen

OCEAN FRIENDLY - Made in the USA with reef safe ingredients and bottled in 100% recycled plastic collected from the coastlines of Haiti, Honduras and Mexico. A sun block that protects you from the sun. The score is 3. Their unique mix of added skin friendly ingredients makes the Sunscreen the best in class. You can keep your skin hydrated and safe from the sun with the blend of vitamins and minerals in each bottle. Water resistant up to 80 minutes with SPF50 broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. The sun screen is made without oxybenzone, a harmful chemical in sunscreens that can cause serious health problems if it is not properly applied. Their sunscreen is safe for sensitive skin. It is strong enough to protect against sun rays and gentle enough for delicate skin. Octinoxate, Oxybenzone, retinyl Palmitate, and Paraben are all free of harmful substances. The moment it arrives, start using your Seven Minerals Sunscreen Lotion. If you love it, they'll give you a full refund. You have to order now.

Brand: Seven Minerals

👤If you want to be reef safe, do not buy this product. It is not true. false advertising. The active ingredient in this sunscreen is avobenzone, which is killing marine life, and I think it's my fault for not researching the ingredients. Do not buy it. I will be buying a sunscreen with zinc oxide and it is reef safe. I fell for the green washing because I wanted to save our corals. The sunscreen is lying on the beach. It is not.

👤This is not a sponsored review. My own thoughts about my experience with Seven Minerals and this particular product I purchased. I like this sunscreen because I am a black American man with dark skin. It protects my dehydrated skin, does not irritate it, and does not leave a white cast on my skin. It is not oily. I only use this on my body, but I would feel comfortable using it on my face if I already have another sunscreen for my facial skin. A faint typical sunscreen smell does exist, but it is very light and not very noticeable. I enjoy spending time outside, so it is nice to have this sunscreen to protect me from harmful rays. The packaging is made out of non- harmful materials and it is cruelty-free. It is comforting to have that knowledge. There is a If you have a deep complexion and have dehydrated dark skin, this is the sunscreen for you.

👤Avobenzone is a substance that harms coral reefs. The state Senate passed a bill in March, 2021, that would ban the sale of sunscreens with two harmful chemicals. Coral resilience can be reduced due to the high ocean temperatures that are killing corals worldwide. This product has false claims and should be avoided. Other substances are harmful to the reefs. According to the sustainable tourism association of Hawai'i, sunscreens with the "reef safe" label may still contain harmful chemicals. The best option for you and the reefs is to cover up. You need to check the label if you still need to apply sunscreen. Avoid products with avobenzone. This product contains all of these chemicals.

👤I wouldn't buy it again. Since we have a pool, I have tried about a dozen brands of sunblock. My kids have sensitive skin. I was looking for something that wasn't mineral. There is a Family owned recycled packaging is a pros. Even for a long time in the pool, reef friendly works well against the sun. Consistency isn't smooth when you rub it in, and would prefer a higher spf.

👤The Reef Safe Sunscreen made it's way to the average consumer and I am happy about it. It's easy to order and delivery on the Amazon platform. Seven Minerals helped save the planet. This formula was created for Sensitive Skin and Face because of my dislike of sunscreen. Excellent recommendation!

👤I burn easily because I am fair skinned. I want a sunscreen that's safe for me as well as the environment, so naturally I've tried every mineral sunscreen known to man. Mineral sunscreens don't work well for people who burn easily. I was overjoyed when I saw this chemical sunscreen on EWG, it's a physical sunscreen, but it's considered chemical if it isn't zinc. It has a nostalgic sunscreen smell, but is very light compared to most. Non-active ingredients make this sunscreen different from others. The sunscreen that helps bind to your skin making it water resistant is what Dimethicone is. Amodimethicone is a 1 on EWG and is better than dimethicone to keep it 80 min water/sweat resistant. I use spf 50 most often during high UV index TOD and spf 30 for earlier and later TOD. Remember to layer your sunscreen on thick, let it soak in for a bit, and reapply after 80 minutes.

8. Banana Boat Sunscreen Performance Spectrum

Banana Boat Sunscreen Performance Spectrum

Water can be resistant to 80 minutes. There is a spray that is invisible. No cap, twist and lock spray.

Brand: Banana Boat

👤The title and text say it's reef friendly and safe for use near natural reefs, but all of the active ingredients on the back are banned in Hawaii. If you're using this sunscreen outside of a pool, you may be damaging our environment. Our reefs are being killed by the chemicals in sunscreens in the ocean, so lakes and rivers may be fine, but not there. Even if I didn't care about that, it feels like an LIE to put "reef safe" on the label and heading of the product when it's clearly not! There is a I can't use this sunscreen because I don't want to hurt my skin. I am out the money because I am not able to return it because it is considered a dangerous item to ship. I paid for the items.

👤The product is either counterfeit or factory seconds as it does not work. This product has been used by us before and we like it. I had to apply the product every 30 minutes, but it didn't prevent sunburn. I bought a new can of the same stuff from a store. It worked the next day. Someone is wrong with this lot. This item can cause injury if they are removed from sale.

👤There are zero stars from this family. We are walking around with blisters and burns. I wondered how anyone would want to give a review with zero stars. Well, I wish I could, but here's why. The product is not effective at preventing sunburns. When it comes to my children, I use a religious sunscreen. I had my usual sunscreen with me. I thought I'd bring more backup. I bought this banana boat sunscreen spf 30 because my usual coppertone was out of stock. There is a I was able to use what I had left of our coppertone sunscreen on the first day. A whole day in the river. We went to the river for 2 days. I didn't know that this banana boat sunscreen would fail my family and I on day 2. We applied regardless of whether we were in the water or not. I applied the product and waited for it to dry so my children could play in and out of the water. We usually use the same brand as I do. I put my faith in this. It did not work and my family and I both suffered from burns from the top of our feet all the way to the tips of our ears. I apply this banana boat sunscreen to all places. How can a product fail so badly? Photos of my burns have been included. I would look twice at this product if I were you. Don't buy it. If you try to prevent sunburn with this product, you will be Miserable. I will return the faulty sunscreen for a refund. I just hunted for the coppertone and I wish I had done it earlier. The banana boat will never get a dime from me. Don't sacrifice your skin for money. I hope I can save people from reading this review. I am unable to return this product because it is dangerous. Go figure. I will write Banana Boat directly and see if it makes a difference. I still have faith in my review. Unless you like sunburns, don't buy.

Brand: Reef Repair

👤I live in Iowa. I've had one episode of skin cancer and I'm bald. I use the new SPF 100 products when biking or spending time outdoors in the brutal Iowa summer sun. Since there is no need to protect the Iowa ocean beaches, I worry about protecting myself. There is a I have never been to Kauai and Oahu before. The ocean environment in Hawaii is very important. I ordered this stuff on Amazon before I left Iowa. I was in the Hawaiian Islands from February 2 to February 20, 2020. I used the product when I was snorkeling off the coast of Kauai. I got home with zero sunburn, I didn't hurt the environment in Hawaii, a little goes a long way, and this stuff didn't, so I really like the product. Each of the four things I like is worth at least a star and a half so five stars as far as I'm concerned.

👤Went to the Caribbean for a week. I burned so badly, my body was swollen, and I was miserable, even though I used 50+ protection. The horrible smell and taste of every other sunscreen I have used did not go away if it got near my mouth or nose. This sunscreen works. There is no bad smell or taste. It is safe for sea life, and the water does not affect its effectiveness, so I like that. I rubbed it in a bit more to regain the natural look after I left it a bit white on my nose and shoulders. If your skin is not conditioned for high level sun, you should apply every 4 hours.

👤This was not a good choice for me and my son. There is a small amount of something in the lotion. It was warm even when it was sitting in the sun. It was slightly itchy at the beginning but it went away after a few minutes. My wife did not have that itch. We used it as recommended on the tube. We continued to use another product with an SPF of 45 because we did not need a reef friendly product. This is expensive and not effective. Can not recommend.

👤I just applied sunscreen to my skin. This is the first zinc oxide sunscreen that I have tried. I have a medium complexion. I only had to rub it in a few times. I am very impressed so far. I will update this review if my opinion changes after I wear it in the sun.

👤Beauty by Earth is my favorite sunscreen. One of the drawbacks is that it is a very white paste formula. The small grains of minerals are the second downside. They are annoying and don't hurt when applying. There is a The scent is not overwhelming and I am sensitive to scents, but those who are not may not like it. There is a There are pros. Reef Safe is Cruelty Free. No animal testing, no parabens, no phthalates, no Silicone, and no zinc oxide will protect you from the sun.

10. Banana Boat Sunscreen Formula Approved

Banana Boat Sunscreen Formula Approved

Super Ior EnduRANCE vs. SWEAT & WATER provides strong sun protection that stays on so you can play on. Broad spectrum protection protects you from harmful rays. Light weight, oil-free formula won't weigh you down. Water and sweat resistant for up to 80 minutes. REEF FRIENDLY is made without oxybenzone or octinoxate.

Brand: Banana Boat

👤The product is marketed as reef friendly because it does not contain oxybenzone. The four active ingredients used instead are not reef friendly.

👤I ordered them for the trip. I needed a sunscreen that was reef friendly. The original sunscreen I received was not reef friendly. I did not get the sunscreen pictured in the photo. It was useless. Money was wasted.

👤I looked at the ingredients in the photo. I wanted Reef Friendly sunscreen. There was a fourth chemical that wasn't in the photo online when the product was delivered today. According to a search I did for acceptable sunscreens in Hawaii that are reef friendly, that chemical isn't allowed. These were a great price and the right size to carry on the flight, so I'm very disappointed.

👤Don't buy. The stuff was expired. I ordered this as a pack of three because I was having a hard time finding travel sizes in the middle of winter. I applied this stuff every hour. I had the worst sunburn of my life. I didn't understand why pale people who applied less often didn't get burned. She told me that sunblock loses its effectiveness when it expires. I lost a few days of my trip because of the sun poisoning. I was disappointed.

👤Banana Boat Sport is a great sunscreen because it holds up through sweat and sea water. I have never gotten sunburnt while wearing it, but I do reapply it every hour and a half to two hours depending on what I am doing. My husband and I are going on a week-long beach vacation, only taking carry-on bags, and need sunscreen, so I was excited to find small travel size bottles of it. We fit 20 bottles in a quart size bag, which is equivalent to two standard 8oz bottles. See the pictures for reference. One of us will bring a quart size bag of toiletries with us, the other will have everything else. I am very happy with my purchase. There is an edit. We bought a pack of bottles.

👤I saved my skin in Costa Rica. I was sweating like a pig there. This sunblock did it. I only reapplied when I needed to after swimming or showering, and we were in the hot equator sun. I'm a fair skinned redhead. That's saying something. The travel size was great. We only did carryon luggage so the travel size was necessary, but the size was also great so I could carry a bottle in my purse/ hip bag when out on excursions.

👤I think this is one of the best sunscreens out there, as you don't really need anything more than SPF30 for effectiveness. The spf30 doesn't feel heavy on your skin, and it spreads quickly. I use this frequently because I live in a place where there is plenty of sun. It doesn't sting as much when it runs in your eyes as some other sunblocks. I like having these scattered around where I get dressed for the day, so I remember to apply, if just a little bit.

Brand: Reef Repair

👤The first day it was used in the Caribbean, it got burnt.

👤I use this sunscreen for fishing trips and need to keep the rivers and lakes free of the drug. I got good protection from the sun while standing outside. It's not slippery and can still rig a line after using it. Will definitely buy again.

👤I bought this sunscreen because it is in 3oz tubes so you can fly with it. It is reef safe as required by our vacation destination, but I ended up liking it more than I thought. It goes on a bit thicker than most sun cream but that makes it easier to know that it is applied everywhere and that it is protecting more effectively. The scent is the kicker. It smells like oatmeal cookies. We won't need sunscreen for a long time now that we're back home, but I would happily buy it again for next season.

👤I originally ordered 2 packs of sunscreen. The package only had one tube of sunscreen. There was a sticker on the shrink wrap that said 2 pack. I originally gave the product a 1 star review because I didn't have time to return or order another product. The company reached out to explain that there was a problem with shipping from Amazon. They rushed me with more sunscreen and lip balm. They made it right. And then some! I will order the products again before my next beach trip.

👤We bought the reef proof sunscreen because we knew we'd be swimming in the ocean and cenotes and we didn't want to leave any sunscreen in the water. Many places require you to use reef proof sunscreen. There is a It's best to just use a small amount of sunscreen and rub it in. It's not going to spread like your regular sunscreen, but it will give you great protection and last a long time.

👤Reef repair smells like oatmeal. It has a good texture and is not thick. It has been protecting me for a while now. Good stuff! There is a Eco friendly product.

👤The rubs were better than the ones I bought. Would recommend.

👤If you put this on your face and sweat or get wet, you're going to have a bad time. I'm not sure if that's all reef safe, but it's an issue with this one.
