Best Eco Friendly Sunscreen Spf 100

Use the hand that you used to spray to smooth it. SPF 100 tells you the amount of time you can stay in the sun without burning, past the time it usually takes to burn. This product will give you an additional 100 minutes to spend in the sun if you burn your skin in 15 minutes. If you want to have to reapply less frequently, you should buy this level of SPF. There is a The 2-pack of Banana Boat SPF50 is the same price as this one. The amount of time you're able to spend in the sun will be the same as the amount of time you're able to spend with 2 cans. Commonsense says that this one is the best value.

👤I will switch to this product after I use it during the Ally 400 in Nashville on June 20th. There was no shade on the sunny day. I am a natural born redhead with very sunburn prone skin and this sunscreen kept me burn free. It was a hot day at the track. I was overheating. I didn't burn. That's a pretty difficult thing to do, as any natural ginger can tell you. It's important to apply as directed to get maximum protection. I sweat a lot and applied more often. The only complaint I have is the smell, it only lasts a few moments and the protection lasts all day.

👤The best sunscreen ever. I only use 100spf sunscreen and this is the best so far, it has an ingredient called aloe Vera, I love it! I am an African American female. I put this on exposed areas only when I go outside and take it with me. I'm one of the lucky ladies who doesn't have a dark complexion. Women who get darker in the sun give them a dark red and tan color. I only darken certain areas and stay lighter in other areas which gives me an obvious look of discoloration. I put on a sunscreen whenever I go outside in the sun to stay out of the sun as much as possible because my skin has improved a lot because I never get darker all over my body.

👤We know how important sunscreen is. We brought an SPF 50 with us to the Bahamas and it still got very red even with a lot of reapplication. I bought this one to take with me to Mexico to avoid sunburns. We may have come back with less of a tan than we started with, which was fine with us. We wore this on the cruise ship and at an excursion where we were in full sun all day long. We applied again on the excursion. If you are in the water, you may need to reapply more, but we had no burns. Very happy with the sunscreen.

The product is rubbed completely in about two times. You can see where it landed when you sprayed it. It is completely non-oily when you rub it in. If I am dissatisfied with its protection powers, I will change this. I've used this for a week now. Protection has been very good. I took more sun than usual and never burned.

My husband was 800-273-3217 I tried to return the products, but they wouldn't let me. Don't buy this brand.

👤I bought this because it said it was reef friendly. I was wrong. I would give this product a zero star rating. If you're buying this item because you want to protect the environment, look elsewhere. The product is just as harmful as any other sunscreen out there to coral and reefs because the manufacturer changed a couple of the molecules. The state of Hawai'i is trying to ban these products. Do your research if you want a sunscreen that is friendly to the environment. I tried to post a link to some good information, but it was not accepted by Amazon. I feel like I was lied to. This product is in the Snake Oil category. Shame.

👤I have two 7 year olds. We've been swimming for 2 hours. This sunscreen is easy to spread. I used the copper tone before this one and the kids porcelain skin did not brown, so I'm trying to give an honest comparison. Their skin immediately had a tan when we switched to this one. I'm not buying it again because they have a medium tan now and I'm going back to a thicker cream and higher spf. After letting it sit for 20 minutes, I noticed it would run again once they were in the water. The copper tone left an oil sheen and repelled the water, this is a lotion that does not do that, it also left a film on the water. The smell is pleasant. It is not noteworthy for being pleasant because it doesn't smell like a tourist. It's just a bland sunscreen smell, which is a good thing. I don't want to smell like a coconut when I'm swimming. Someone who is going to the beach or somewhere in the sun and would like to have color but not burn is the person I would recommend this to. I would reapply as it says. If your skin is fair, I would use a thicker cream and higher spf. This is a good option to try if you have oily skin, because it is a lotion and doesn't leave that oily feel behind. I hope this will help someone decide if this is the right product for them. The pump works well for applying something.

👤I don't recommend this product. The sunscreen left an orange stain on everything it came into, even though it protected us from the sun. I've never used a sunscreen that stained this. Our clothes, bathing suits, and towels were all stained. The sunscreen you see in the picture was used at the beach. We only used it on that day. Unless you wear all black, I don't think you should use this sunscreen. I will never do that again.

👤It takes a long time for this sunscreen to get on. There is a It's on! I only had to apply makeup on parts of my skin that had been soaked with water or rubbed with a towel. I went on a week long vacation to Florida, visiting the amusement parks and the beach for 10 hours or more. I did not burn when I used this sunscreen. I am pale and burn in minutes without sunscreen, so it's a miracle for me. I've lathered on sunscreen and still come out with a tomato before, but this one worked perfectly. There is a It lasts 8 hours and only needs to be applied on areas that have been wiped off or exposed to water, which is very effective at protecting against sun damage, even for pale or sensitive skin.

👤I wouldn't purchase this again. It is very messy to apply. It did not do a good job as a sunscreen. I got sunburned when I wore it. It was difficult to wash it off. I can't tell if we kept the jellyfish away or not. It was expensive because of all the things I mentioned and it was not something I would do.

I can feel the sting of the jellyfish, but they don't. The barbs can't penetrate my skin because of the crackles. After being stung by a man, I can't explain how relieved I am that I won't get stung. I really like this stuff. I'm afraid to get in the water when I'm without it. This is great. You need to remember to reapply after 80 minutes if you get sunburned, just like with all other sunscreens. Get back into the water by setting a timer. I sent some to my nephew when he visited during the season. He did not get stung. There is a I have an older version of the newer one and will be purchasing it as a 100% reef safe one.

I wore it for a channel relay swim in July 2021, and only encountered a sting on the sole of one foot, where I had not applied the sunscreen. I have never gotten sunburnt while wearing it, but I do reapply it every hour and a half to two hours depending on what I am doing. My husband and I are going on a week-long beach vacation, only taking carry-on bags, and need sunscreen, so I was excited to find small travel size bottles of it. We fit 20 bottles in a quart size bag, which is equivalent to two standard 8oz bottles. See the pictures for reference. One of us will bring a quart size bag of toiletries with us, the other will have everything else. I am very happy with my purchase. There is an edit. We bought a pack of bottles.

👤I saved my skin in Costa Rica. I was sweating like a pig there. This sunblock did it. I only reapplied when I needed to after swimming or showering, and we were in the hot equator sun. I'm a fair skinned redhead. That's saying something. The travel size was great. We only did carryon luggage so the travel size was necessary, but the size was also great so I could carry a bottle in my purse/ hip bag when out on excursions.

👤I think this is one of the best sunscreens out there, as you don't really need anything more than SPF30 for effectiveness. The spf30 doesn't feel heavy on your skin, and it spreads quickly. I use this frequently because I live in a place where there is plenty of sun. It doesn't sting as much when it runs in your eyes as some other sunblocks. I like having these scattered around where I get dressed for the day, so I remember to apply, if just a little bit.

Other ingredients are not the same. I assume Alba changed their product, but Amazon needs to change their description to reflect that.

👤I bought this because we are going to a resort that does not allow traditional sunblock. You need to use reef safe. This was the perfect product for us. I decided to try it out to make sure it was adequate for my kids. I applied 3 different times at the beach because I felt my skin burning. The bottle is almost empty just a day after being used. I had to cover myself with a towel for the last hour because I knew it was going to be bad. I was correct. I was in pain and peeling 5 days later. This product did not work for me. I burned badly despite applying.

I am a woman of color with medium skin tone with yellow/golden undertones and almost every sunscreen leaves a weird lavender hue on my skin. Most people of color understand what I am talking about. I never wore the cast because it was left with sunscreen. I promised myself that I would be responsible and wear sunscreen this summer and this product helped me keep that promise. It smells okay, it doesn't leave a greasy smell, and it looks like a nice glow. It is clear going on. My friends are rejoicing! No more lavender skin! There is a If there is a small amount of water on your hands, it creates a sticky film that is nearly impossible to wash off. Even after applying the spray, I would get a sticky mess between my fingers when I washed my hands. For the simple fact that it is clear, I would buy again. And it works. I deducted 2 stars for the sticky feeling.

👤Honest review here. I struggled to find a chemical free safe sunscreen in Florida. I want to make sure my kids are protected from the sun and harsh chemicals. There is an article that I recently read that has a list of good sunscreens. This was one of the few spray ones that were on the list. It works great but must be applied well. It is spray and 50 and lasts for up to 80 minutes of swim time. It's also waterproof! It was one of the best on the list. I highly recommend.

👤I surf for hours on end. I usually use surf yogis which is a similar product with the same ingredients but it will stay on for long sessions. This stuff does not. It is very soft and can be wiped off. I like the ingredients but they need to be reformulated to stick more. During short sessions, it doesn't last that long. I wouldn't recommend using this to surf. It has a great chocolate smell and would be good for chillin on the beach.

👤I like Cerave skin lotion for my face, but this stuff. I think this was a really messed up practical joke. It leaves a white haze when you rub it in on your face because you think the rest will absorb it. There is a Cerave starts to laugh at you. It takes 20 minutes for it to come back out and give you a pale look. There is a My story is that I used liberally in my bathroom because I burn easily, got it to a point of not having too much white junk on my face that I could live with and hopped on my motorcycle to meet my guys for a ride. Within 20 minutes, I got to the first spot and was met with laughter and mockery of being called Dr. Evil. I can take a joke because I give them too, but I refuse to walk around with this shit on my face making me look like a corpse.

👤The product looked shiny and hard to put on. This is not what I've seen with this product. It is easy to rub in. The CereVe works better for me than the Neutrogena Zinc Sheer Soft-Touch 50. It's easier to put on than the Neutrogena Sheer Zinc and it doesn't make me look white. CereVe has titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, whereas the Neutrogena has zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. I carry my sunscreen with me in my pocket, but I'll still find a way to fit it in my pocket if I need it. I like it. I know I will use it. I will still use the Neutrogena product in certain situations, but I think the CeraVe will be my go-to sunscreen from now on. I didn't get any product nor was I paid for it. It's just my opinion.

👤It looks terrible, but it feels nice. The first time I applied liberally, it looked like I was wearing white face paint. I tried less product and it did fade, but I also got my face microexfoliated and it looked cakey. I am pale but this is noticeable. This wouldn't work for anyone who isn't very fair in their skin tone. It does feel better than any other sunscreen I have used.

👤I don't understand what's going on. Cerave products are usually very good. This is almost impossible to use. Does it create a physical barrier between your skin and the sun? Absolutely! The most absurd white cast I have ever seen is created by it. This looks like stage makeup. It is not possible to work into your skin. You look like you're dying because of the white color of the product. It did not hydrate my skin. If it roughed it up, it got stuck under all of the dry skin and irritated it, causing redness in problem spots. I am pretty disappointed with this product. I was hoping it would be as hydrating and silky as Cerave's product. I will probably go back to using greasy, chemical filled Neutrogena SPF just because it feels better on the face.

👤We used this product in the Philippines for a week of sea kayaking off the coast of Palawan and 4 days at a beach resort. There is a lot of sun exposure time. We wore long sleeve rash guard and hats when we reapplied, as nothing works better than SPF clothing. We only used 2.5 bottles for two people over the course of a week and a half because we took 4 bottles. If you want to go without a rash guard, I would suggest you use a bottle for 3 full days of sun. I didn't have to worry about stinging in my eyes when I applied it to my forehead in the sun after 20 minutes of drying. This product will make your skin look white when you put it on in the correct amounts. It will leave lighter spots on clothing, but it will wash out completely. I would use this again because it didn't sting my eyes.

I like to wait until it dries down completely, then rub the cast in circles with my fingers to diffuse it. It works. If you dislike the greasy feeling of spf then you will love this. I knew I needed to get serious about sun protection for my health as well as my appearance because of my family history of skin cancer. If you only apply once a day or use other products on your skin at the same time, you need higher SPFs to get the same benefit, according to research. I was looking for a single purpose sunscreen that I would be able to commit to using every day. The local drugstore doesn't seem to have anything that checked the three boxes of being good for facial use, over SPF 50, and under $10 a tube. I found this on Amazon. I use a small amount of this product on my face. After 10 or 15 minutes, the base becomes a nice stable base for makeup, even though it initially leaves a white cast and greasy sheen. I've only been using it for a few days, but so far no signs of break outs or clogged pores. Since I layer it over a moisturizer, I wanted a high enough SPF that I could be confident that I was still getting a lot of sun protection even if the other product does not protect me as well. The only downside is that it hurts the eyes. I'm quite happy with it and would recommend it.

I had the worst flareup I have ever had because of mild facial sphygmomany, so I had to use my hydrocortisone cream to calm the redness and swelling, and I will not be using this again.

It is not shine free. It doesn't feel greasy on your skin. Keep it away from your eyes. It burns for 30 minutes if it gets in your eye, and it doesn't take much to feel that way. You need something else for your face, even though this is a great sunscreen.
