👤The trash bags are the best ever. We've been using them for a couple of years, and we loved the old ones, but the new one is fantastic. I love that I can have a bag that diverts huge amounts of plastic, quality, and an easy drawstring that my 9 year old can help take out the trash without spilling it, and that means I can have it all. I've never had an issue with tears, and I've filled one with old kitty litter and dropped it on the garage floor. I can't recommend them enough.
👤I have used the trash bags without the cinch string before. The cinch string and the seams of the bag seem to be torn and ripped by these ones. Not as strong as the other bags. The bags without the cinch string will save you money.
👤When I saw the addition of the drawstring, I was very excited to order them again. The box I ordered might be faulty because I've used rip and separates on every one of them. I had to pick up my trash after it broke. Adding the drawstring made the non-draw string ones worse. I'm very disappointed.
👤The Evolution bags have been used by us and we love them. The Evolution bags came with a pleasant surprise. The green draw string has been improved. We loved these bags. We really like them now. I wouldn't buy any other bag. Very strong.
👤I liked my previous order of Evolution bags, which were not drawstring, so I ordered these. They were 13 gallon tall kitchen bags that fit my rubbish can. Amazon told me they were not available. These do not fit. They are 3-6 too short for my can, and they may or may not be 13 gallon. They aren't tall at all. The bags fall down when I put trash in them. The bags were ruined by you.
👤The new bags are not as good as the previous ones. The bag leaks without much pressure. It is as if they have holes in the corners. SMH.
👤The bags don't work because they are thin and not strong. Will never buy them again.
👤The bags are strong and do not have any issues with tears or rips. Quality control issues that might have been caused by the new drawstring are gone. I did a lot of research to find a good garbage bag, and this one was the winner. Garbage bags degrade into smaller micro-plastics. This is the best bag to use because it has very high recycled content. I like using this product.
It's a perfect gift for a person who's conscious of the environment. Their eco-friendly kitchen brushes show the household's commitment to a cleaner Earth. The brushes are beautiful and make an interesting conversation piece, often opening the door to more eco-friendly discussions. 100% of the time. The dimensions are 23.75 in x 29 in x 1.25MIL and 60.3 cm x 73.7 cm. Compostable bags that are Heavy-DUTY can hold their integrity for longer in your indoor bin because of their superior material and thickness. 100% eco-friendly material. The bags are broken down into carbon dioxide, water, and biomass at the same rate as other organic materials in your compost pile. It was made from corn. The Biodegradable Products Institute is certified to meet US standards. The OK Compost Home and OK Compost Industrial are certified by TUV Austria. The bags are made from 100% renewable materials in Home Composting bins and in specialized industrial/municipal facilities. It is possible to use and care for most tall bins within a year. Store in a dry place. It can be used in many places. It is possible to use and care for most tall bins within a year. Store in a dry place. It can be used in many places.
👤This is an important idea. The material is too thin to be used in a trash container that can be filled to the capacity of the bag and the bags tear too easily. "Heavy Duty" is not really what it sounds like. Keep trying. We need more of this technology.
👤The other brands I've used are not as good as these. I've been using them for months and haven't had any wholes or leaks. I try to put wet trash in the middle of the trash before I pitch it to make it less likely that I'll get a hole. Better safe than sorry. I ended with holes with thinner bags. I'm very happy with my bags. Every time I take out the trash, there will be a hole. I will get more.
👤The new-to-me composting wastebin bag has been so good so far. My family has worked to cut down on waste being sent to the landfill over the past couple years. We still have some waste that ends up in a landfill. I have always disliked using plastic garbage bags. My experience with other composting bags is that once they get wet, they start to break down and become very easy to puncture. I don't know how sturdy this bag is once it gets wet but it does feel sturdy to the touch and so far no punctures! I will try to give an updated review in a couple months once we have tested it longer. I would recommend ordering this product.
👤You have to realize that this is a really good bag and that it won't take the beating of plastic bags. They are more than strong. They don't tear off at the right place, that's my one complaint. They tear off the bags at a perforation, but they tear off the bags at the bottom of the bag, which is about 1/2 above the perforation. When you lift the bag out of the trash bin, it will blow out at the bottom. The first couple of boxes didn't have this problem, but the last two have, so I believe they have a manufacturing quality issue.
👤I wanted to make a step towards being more eco-friendly by replacing our garbage bags with these. The first bag I used had the garbage go all over the floor and I had to empty the garbage bin. It made a mess in the curbie when it tried to take it to the dumpster. The bag had ties on it. It did not. I want them to work, but now the owner of a box of garbage bags. They are very soft.
👤The bags are thick and convenient, but they can be torn easily.
👤Anything can create a hole in this, and it's very hard to tie when full. I like the idea but the product could use some work. I don't think I will be buying again.
👤I became a master recycler in Portland. The heat to turn in to compost was required in my study. Throwing bags in to my compost pile will not turn into compost. Some fast food businesses used corn base products. I will look into the truth of your product.
Trash bags from virgin plastic are more sustainable. 30 bags per roll is the product information for Superbio compostable bags. The tie has a handle. 👤I can't rate the trash bags higher than 3 stars because I love the idea of using them. They are not as strong as 13 gallon plastic trash bags, and can't hold as much trash. These are barely 13 gallons and more like 11 or 12 gallons. I'll be looking for a 13 gallon trash bag when these are used up. Nice attempt to the mfg. I hope you can improve on the bags.
👤I bought these thinking they were worth it. They are good for the planet and people. The color is nice. Downsize is the right size for my can. The bags are very thin. They have a purpose in their products, but I don't think they are quality.
👤I have been using bags made of compost. They are thin and break easily. Not these! I ripped up the carpet in my house and forgot to buy construction bags. I thought they wouldn't stand up to it. I was wrong. They held sharp objects. The bags didn't explode despite the nails and wood poking through. I dropped them from my balcony into a garbage can. Every so often one of the handles will come undone. My only wish is that they were a bit bigger as I have an oval shaped can and it would mean less strain on the bag as it fills. These are the best I have tried in a long time.
👤When you fill it, tear it. Make sure you don't stuff it.
👤We used these for our can in the kitchen. The bags are a good idea, but they leak. What a mess. We just use regular bags in the can and put them in the green bin. We wash it out and reuse it.
👤I have to sort my trash thoroughly because of a new trash law. The only way I could get rid of the food trash was to put it in paper bags. It is easy to throw out food with these bags.
👤These fit my trash can perfectly. Exactly what I wanted.
Reli is the one to rely on. Quality garbage bags are delivered by them. Compostable is in municipal and industrial composting facilities. Compostable bags are made from plant based materials. The D6400 is certified. Small, but tough compost trash bags made for a leak-proof disposal. Reli is the one to rely on. Quality garbage bags are delivered by them.
👤The bags are thick and were priced right. They were less expensive than the ones I purchased from my local store. They are performing well so far. I have one complaint. Every bag will break for no reason. I have to handle them more gently to prevent the sides from tearing becaue, which is surprising as they are quite thick. I can twist and knot them easily if handled carefully. I can't overfill them. I bought 200 so I will use them for a while but not sure if I will order them again.
👤My wife called me over as she was changing the bag. She showed me the bag after it was sliced. We had already used a lot of them in the roll and this must have been done at manufacturing. We had to throw out a lot of bags because they weren't sliced through. The bags that weren't ripped work well. The bags we were using were smaller. The larger bags allow for more slack to not have the bag pulled down in the can when it's full.
👤As you open the bags, they rip as they come off the roll. Somethings they rip randomly. The worst bags we've tried are the ones we use for compost and cat litter.
👤The bag couldn't fit at the top of my trash can because of the 3 gallon bags. The edges of the bag can fit over the edges of the can with this 4 gallon bag. When it's time to throw the bag away, the bag is sturdy and holds up well.
👤I was hoping these would be big enough for my 14 x 12 x 7 trash can and be durable. I have two major problems. They don't sit on the bottom of the can if the bottom is gathered into a point. This causes me to lose about 2 inches as soon as I throw something away, and what would've been the corners of the bag are pulled into the can. The material is strong, but the construction is not. Unless I'm very careful about putting it in the can, I'd say every third bag is ripped down the seam. Who wants a delicate garbage bag? Disappointing. Good recycled bags are hard to find.
👤The bags will not compost in a backyard compost bin. I usually use plastic bags for kitchen scraps, but I think they'll be quicker to dispose of in the landfill.
👤I just started using these bags and they are holding up well. I looked at reviews of many bags and most of them said that they couldn't handle any water. They do well with damp things, even though I don't put anything wet in them. That works for me. I love knowing that I can still do the job even though these will eventually break down in an earth-friendly way.
👤Even though we are unable to use them in our compost, they are still great strong bags, they will break down as plastic bags do, but they are fine in the trash. Also reasonably priced.
We promote green small garbage bags. These are not toxic. And pure. It controls things. The smell. Help them identify the contents of the garbage so that they can sort and recycle it better. 👤These are flimsy, but we appreciate that they're not harmful to the environment. At a stop, we found a huge beetle on our van, after we bought these as liners for a travel potty for our little ones. I used one of these bags to grab the beetle and have it inspected, it appeared to be a dangerous bug that have been known to destroy trees and forests. It wasn't. That's beside the point. The bug had eaten holes in the bag when we arrived at our destination. The bag's materials were an interesting testament to this. It's actually corn-based. They are not very strong. We had to be very careful with keeping them from getting ripped. Assuming they're not over-stuffed, they would suffice as a non-kitchen trash can liner.
👤I use this in combination with a tiny trash can that has a lid to temporarily hold poop that is scooped from my cat's litter box and you wouldn't know what is in that trash can unless you take off the lid. There was no smell. When you open the trash can, you don't have to deal with foul smells. I like that these are not harmful to the environment. The product is perfect.
👤I didn't send them back because they seem like they will do the job. I wondered why I was considering sending them back. I have been trying to only buy American made products in light of the global Pandemic and political climate. I made a mistake buying these. I should have been more aware of where these were made. I'm keeping them because of my fault. There is a The bags are an average thickness and fit my trashcan perfectly. The perforations tear evenly. They seem to be able to do the job. I will never buy from this company again because they weren't made in America.
👤These are tears with a glance. The contents of the compost bucket were half full, so they had to triple-bag them. There was nothing sharp or straight in there. They are very flimsy. The thin material is an even bigger issue because they barely fit the bucket. They tore when they tried to put one bag inside another, because getting it on and off the rim was hard enough. The package has a bad smell when opened. The bag did not smell in the bin. The first whiff can be off-putting. This could be what other reviewers are talking about.
👤The price is eco-friendly. There is a These bags are easy to carry. I use these for trash and if anything goes in that doesn't have a rounded edge, there will be a rip that will spread quickly and make the bag as useful as a wet napkin. I know the photo shows strength. If everything inside is soft or round, that's applicable. There is a It's great for bathroom trash cans, composting soft food items, and doggy duty, but I wouldn't trust it with stems or anything like pineapple leaves. I won't be buying again.

It's suitable for offices, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, baby diapers and garbage recycling.
👤The bag was rejected by my service. The product seemed plastic-like compared to the bags I have used before. Amazon needs to do a better job of protecting consumers.
👤I don't believe all of the environmental claims made about these bags. There is nothing on the box that says it's certified. A big "Made in China" I couldn't find the company listed under the OK Compost Home certification either. There is no mention of these bags or its environmental claims on the website. These are plastic bags. There is a Let me know if there is proof of my claims. I confused these with UNNI bags, which is a company that is listed under the certification of the British Product Improvement Agency. I recommend Evolution bags. I was suspicious from the beginning but didn't research until after ordering because the real products are more expensive. I regret that decision. There is a I have to go through 80 of these before I buy a product that is not harmful to the environment. I would like to see Amazon restrict misleading product pages. Nov 2021. I have been contacted by the company several times and asked to remove the review. I suggested they address the issues I brought up in the review, but have not seen any movement on that.
👤These bags are great. It's perfect for my trash can. Why would I order bags made of compost? They wrap it in plastic. I got these bags for a reason. Wrap your boxes in paper.
👤I will probably return the bags I received. The box does not indicate that the bags are certified, even though the information on Amazon states that they are. I was assured that the bags are certified as compostable after I email the support. Something tells me that they are not. I couldn't find anything online to verify their certification.
👤I am trying to limit my impact on the environment. It's a great step to switch to bags that are non-biodegradable. I saw some ratings that were low. Compost should not be in a bag because it requires air, water, and enzymes to break it down into soil. It will break down and be composted or left in a landfill if it's called "biodegradable." I have found them to be strong. There were no leaks or holes. They fit in a 13 gallon can. One box will last me a year, and the price is good for the quality and number of bags. I already recycle paper and plastic, so the garbage bags will only manage trash that doesn't fit those categories. I recommend you try them.
👤I love how strong they are. I ordered these 4 gallon for my 2 gallon compost can so that I could tie the ends together and they are perfect! I was very happy with my purchase. There is a sign on my compost that says these are not accepted by my waste company. They don't have a stamp on them. Check with your waste company to see if they allow them. I will have to buy a different brand. It's really bad.

👤Plastic disposable shopping bags have been removed from stores in Oregon. I used to use those bags as garbage bin liners and for picking up my dog's messes in the back yard, but now they're used as liners. I put off buying them because I thought they would end up in a landfill after I voted to get rid of them in stores. I ran across these at a great price and thought maybe I could find an alternative. I have not had a single bag rip on me, and I am very surprised at how durable these bags are.
👤These are the best small bags I've found, perfect size for my bathroom and car trash cans, and strong enough for litter box maintenance.
👤I use a small bib forggie bags after walks. I try to use bags that are non-toxic. I am pleased with these.
👤We try and help the environment by composting our own food waste, but it's difficult to transfer the food scraps to our compost bin because it gets slimy and sticky, and we don't have a compost bin in our house. The bags work well as bin liners. Instead of throwing the kitchen bin into the composter, trying and failing to completely clean out the kitchen bin with the garden hose, and occasionally splashing myself with the nasty mess, I just grab the bag by the edges, give it a spin. I'm not sure how long it will take for my first bag to break down. There is a The bags are very thin and a little tricky to open but I only had to use my index finger and thumb to open them because they were open right up at the line. There is a The number of bags you get for the price might seem a little low, but when used as intended for organic waste they should last you a long time.
👤I love these! They're perfect for our compost bin, bathroom trash cans, and even for doggy bags when we go on walks.
👤We have been using larger bags for a couple of years, and are now using smaller bags as well. We are very happy with them. I am impressed with how strong they are. I always make sure that what I put in them is dry and well-drained because they can start to break down if they get too wet.
👤I needed small trash bags to clean cat litter. I used a different type but they ripped easily. I don't have to double-bag if I miss a day because these are stronger. Being non-toxic is a plus. The price is good. Will buy again.
👤I thought it would be good to help the environment by being frugal. I decided to buy these garbage bags for my bathroom because it has a small waste basket. I took one out to see if it worked. They are paper thin. I mean it's plastic, but it's so thin. I was not sure if they would hold the trash. There is a Lessen learned! I don't think you should waste your money on these bags.

👤I have had bags form tears while opening them. I had to throw away several bags and wash my basket because they leaked. It looks like the bag is stuck together in that one spot. Not all bags in the roll present this problem. Around 1/3 of the time do. They are easy to roll into a garbage can. You will get a good feeling knowing that they are not made from fossil fuels. They don't hold any trash or objects. Not strong, not leak proof. I don't recommend this product.
👤You can't carry it to the chicken pen because it leaks. There is a I had to get it to stay in the compost bin without the sides falling down. I put a plastic bag in first, but that really defeats the purpose. Plastic bags have been discontinued in this state, so that's not an option now. The compost bin is carried to the chicken pen. The bin is small and has a handle. I left one bag out in the chicken pen, but it didn't biodegrade very quickly, so I don't leave them on the ground. Pick em up and throw them in the trash.
👤The bags are easy to carry. It's easy to tear easily. I am not happy.
👤I love our compost system. I'm happy to find a routine that works for everyone and is easy to maintain, even though I'm trying to get the fam on board for forever. There is a The 2.5 gallon hanging small trash can with lid is an amazing receptacle, it is easy to install, it is durable, and it contains the smell, no bugs. There is a These bags are also included. They go with it. They fit the receptacle perfectly, I love the handles, they make it so easy to dispose of our compost, just tie and throw away! We get the 2.6 gallon, handle tie top, and there is plenty of leftover bag to fold over the top, they are easy to handle, and are easy to dispose of. 15-20% gone? I love that they are thick and durable, I have thrown in wet coffee filters from my pour over system and never had an issue with them falling apart or disintegrating while in the container. I tried to poke that hole in the video, but it was too late. They are compliant with Austria and Europe standards, as well as being 100% compostable certified. There was never an issue with bugs, fruit flies, or anything else. Our whole system has been a dream to use and everyone has adapted and gotten used to it really quickly. When we run out of these bags, I will buy them again. They are the absolute best. I looked around for some that were easy to use and had all the above. Highly recommend all of the above. Try them out! You will love it.
👤It is difficult to separate the bags at the handles. In order to separate a bag, you have to unfold it, and then you can do it. This makes it hard to pull out a new bag when you need one. It works after you have the bag out. The bags seem to be more sturdy than others I have used, and the size works well for some of my small counter-top composters. The bags don't slip down, and I can hook the handles outside. I know that eventually they would break up if I put them in my home composter, but since our city is now encouraging us to put food waste and other compostable material in our green waste can, I am putting these sacks in there when I can no longer use them in the containers. The bags will break more quickly in the city because they have heavy duty equipment. I can sometimes wash one out and reuse it because they are so sturdy. That is a good way to save money.

👤The waste bags are cheaper than the ones you get at the store. Their smaller size is useful for me. They are very thin. I usually put one bag inside of another for heavier waste loads, or use three. They are working well, and are cheaper than my local alternatives.
👤The bags fit the standard trashcans. I was drawn to them for their being Eco-friendly, but the fact that they can't handle heavy objects makes them unsuitable for my office of 25 people. If you are only dealing with paper, these will work well. They are dark colored and not translucent. They are being used in offices where trash is light weight. I wish they were stronger as we try to be environmental aware.
👤These work well for a kitchen garbage can. They feel like a grocery store bag and don't tear on every corner like cheap bags. I would like them to be two inches taller because they barely wrap over the lip of my can. I don't have enough slack to tie a good knot.
👤They puncture easily so you need to use two at a time, which is basically 500 bags for $45, I had searched for strong bags and these came up, but I'm not sure I would have bought them. There is a If you only use them for paper waste baskets or very light garbage, you'll be fine. Not to be used as garbage bags.
👤These bags are not damaged. They barely fit in a trash can. None of them have ripped on me so far. They do a good job, but not as well as I wanted. I will buy again. The price is great.
👤They are not good for bulky trash or anything with corners. The 6 gallon size is more popular than the 10. It's better for a bathroom garbage bin.
👤The bags are fine if they are used for paper or soft material that won't puncture them. We use them for the bathroom and my office.
👤They were bought for the office. It works well for small cans that aren't used for a lot of trash. If you don't empty the can often, you might want to get a thicker mil.

👤These are regular plastic bags. It is definitely not compostable. Compost facility will not accept them. There is no certification label for the bags. Green washing from China.
👤I'm trying out a new garbage bag and it wasn't the right one. I've been more conscious of the environment this year. Garbage bags are another step in that direction. I won't be buying this brand again. It was expected that it would be in its packaging. Garbage bags are wrapped inside the box. It's not necessary to wrap bags in another bag, it's still not needed, and it causes unnecessary waste.
👤I contacted the city rep for these bags and she said they were no better than regular plastic bags. If these bags go to a landfill, they would give off methane which is a very powerful greenhouse gas, so it would be worse for the environment. There is only one time when to use bags that are made of bio-degradable material. I wouldn't use them for that either because they aren't certified compostable.
👤I've been looking for a bag that's not made of plastic. There is a Solid enough to hold a decent amount of trash. The price is also great. I am very happy that I don't have to use plastic bags for trash anymore, and feel proud that I am not producing plastic waste that harms the environment, I will recommend this product to anyone.
👤I've tried several bags from Amazon to find one that will fit in the house. This one is the best. It is leak proof and won't cause a stinky brown puddle in the bottom of your can after you accidentally throw an egg yolk in there. The bags are slightly more brittle than other bags that I have tried. Don't throw something straight down, place it gently and you will be good to go. The bag works well in my 13gallon kitchen can.
👤These are better than regular plastic bags. We prefer to use our own bags since our apartment provides tons of them. They are thicker, more durable and make this dirty job less dehumanizing than the others. The price is high. Is the earth worth it?
👤I made a resolution to reduce plastic waste. These bags fit the bill. They are not as strong as traditional plastic bags, so don't jam them full or push the contents down, they will rip because they are not plastic. It was a small annoyance compared to the reduced plastic out there.
👤Very affordable and helpful. I thought they would be flimsy but they are stronger than I thought. I'll be making it again after buying it.
👤They say "Compostable" on the box, but not on the bags. The Region of Waterloo doesn't consider these to be compostable because they don't say so on the bag. This product should have a warning on it that it doesn't meet all codes.
👤They are not actually compostable. There is a Garbage collection stopped accepting them because there was no symbol for it being composted.

👤They are trash bags. They were able to hold trash. They fit your trashcan. The trash bags are similar to tissues in a tissue box. I like them. Trash bags are luxurious. If you want to be fancy, get them.
👤The Simple Human trash cans use them. They are very sturdy and will hold up well to being mashed down. There is a You have to wonder why they are so expensive. They're more expensive than larger bags. I would probably stop buying them if my wife didn't like them.
👤Simplehuman are the best trash cans in my home. I only have to order two sizes total because all the little ones require this bag. I keep them in a number of places. The bags are easy to use, they hold a surprising amount in them, and don't leak. When I saw that every trash can had a bag for it, I thought it was ridiculous. The company wanted to make more money by telling people to buy their brand and size bags. That isn't true. I was wrong. The bags are cheaper than store brand bags, and are more durable. I'm saving money by using Simple Human bags. I don't know about anyone else, but I am always excited about something that is a better value than I was expecting and is saving me money at the same time. These are definitely worth it.
👤Simple Human is something that I love. They create household items that are easy to use. They have amazing cans and bags. I have used many types of trash bags, and Simple Human is the best. They do not have to tare, the bag handles never rip, the bags never leak, and they pack a good amount without the feeling that it will break.
👤The small bags fit the can very well. The odor control feature is worth the cost to me. I rinse the cans with hot water as they grab waste smells.
👤I purchased these after I received a trial pack in a small step can that I had purchased, they are the same size as the trial pack and fit the garbage can perfect.
👤I ordered the trash can liners in September of 2021. They work well together. I ran into a glitch on the Amazon website while trying to reorder liners. The dimensions on my previous order are correct for the size "A" trash liners, which are 4.5L, 1.2 gal (US), but the Amazon website advertises the "A trash liners as 30L, 8 gal, which is incorrect." The associate who assisted me tried to convince me that I would be getting the correct size trash can liners. He was incorrect as well. I contacted another store that sells the product. The trash can liners were 4.5L, 1.2 gal. I contacted Simplehuman after reading this information. The "A" trash can liners were 4.5L, 1.2 gal. The item is not advertised as 30L, 8 gal., on Amazon.com. Due to the misinformation on the Amazon website, I ordered my liners elsewhere. I didn't want to have to return them if I received an incorrect size. My preference would have been to order them on the Amazon website, but it was not possible. Correct information is important.
