Best Eco Friendly Vacuum Seal Bags

The bags are easy to use and seal well. One bag was enough for them, even with T-Bones. This is a must have if you cook with immersion cookers frequently. I only used 1/3 of the rolls after using them for a month for a family of 3. I like them.

👤Foodsaver bags are like buying car parts from the dealer, expensive and no better than any other brand. These bags work great and they are much cheaper than the Foodsaver brand. If you don't have a machine with a built in cutter, they don't have the measuring lines. Everything else about them is great. One review said they're thicker. Oh yeah... Maybe a small amount. I think it's just because they're new that they feel thicker. I don't feel any difference once you use them a few times.

This company cares about their product enough to reach out to me to make sure I am completely happy. I will most likely buy these again because they are good value for money. I wouldn't use them on anything with sharp edges, but I find them acceptable for hamburger. They are thinner than the brand name, but they work well in my sealer, we have had them leak after freezing. I only used them for short term freezing because I didn't have a freezer burn.

Only 2 work was Ought of the 8. 2... That's crazy. Not going to complain for new ones because they probably don't work. I followed the instructions. I can put these bags in the back of my closet and not have them in the way.

👤Garbage. I bought a food saver vacuum Sealer a couple months ago and have been unimpressed, I wasted $150 on a sub-par product. I bought a variety of rolls from the box that contained the sealer. I saved a small piece of the original roll to compare after reading some bad reviews. The original bag is wider than the one I got with this order, which is interesting since they're both supposed to be 11 inches. The original roll on the left has channels, but the one on the right has little studs not connected in any way. Next, look at the rolls and see all the wrinkling and creasing, as someone else suggested these are quality control rejects that are just going off via Amazon. The product unmade in China is funny, given how much the company lies about quality. FoodSaver gives an answer to some of the product questions. There are two trends involving misrepresentation. For example, someone asks if the bags contain the same things as FoodSaver, they don't even care enough to give an honest answer or take the time to read the question, and for many questions where people ask if the bags can be used for something. That's what I would recommend. I'm returning the garbage rolls and spending my money on a better product. FoodSaver is cheap and made in China.

👤I was thrilled to find a five roll pack for $10 cheaper than I pay at Walmart, but the bags I received were not the same quality bags I've used before. I wanted to use the 8 inch rolls when I opened this box because I was bagging up 80 pounds of chicken. The textured side was lighter in weight. The bags were textured only on one side. The bags were not sealed with air inside. I called Food Saver and they said they hadn't changed the design of their bags. I used the 11 inch roll from the last box to finish the chicken. I tried making small bags from the big rolls of Foodsaver bags, but they wouldn't seal. These are lifesavers. No more freezer burning! I tried all of them with these bags and they looked good and sealed well for about 20 minutes. The vacuum is lost when air gets in. The top three bags have the same seal, but the bottom two have different ones. If you are packaging snacks for use within a week... these would be okay. These are not the bags for you if you plan to store for months before opening, or if you are making anything that air would destroy.

I haven't tried Spacesaver brand bags yet but the SUOCO bags did a great job of packing heavy quilts to store away. I had to deflate the bag using the Dyson and then use the hand pump to do it because none of my Dyson vacuums fit the hole. There are two The seals on the bags are not tight enough so they fall off. The bags are sturdy and can handle being thrown into the water at a high temperature. They are re-usable and can be thrown in the dishwasher to be washed. Easy lemon drink. When I first started sous-viding, I used ziplocs and the water displacement method, but that has always been a bit difficult. If you were like me, you would try to do the displacement method in your water bath and burn your fingers. You create tons of waste unless you wash and re-use the same ziplocs. I decided to buy a Food Saver FM 2000 if I was going to be doing this frequently. The hassle of vac-sealing food is what makes the FM2000 a great option. I have to store it away because it takes up too much counter space, and it's a pain to whip it out every time I want to sous-vide. You have to cut off a length, seal one side, then use the other side to vac-seal with the sheet cut rolls. I'm lazy and it's a lot of effort. I recommend grabbing this kit if you want to step up your game from water-displacing ziplocs. It makes the vac-seal better. It is my new go-to.

The bag should not be under the valve hole or the surface of the bag where the valve is. The valve on the bag needs to be held tightly. It works well once you get going. 👤I've owned a vacuum cleaner from Miele for a few years, and while it sounds crazy to praise it, I must. I got it because I was sick of the cheap canister vacs that sounded like jet engines. I've never had the bag- change warning light go off, but I'm constantly amazed at how stuffed the bag can be, and I get reminded to change the bag when I sense the vacuum is heavier than normal. The bag is so stuffed that it is hard to remove, but it can be done without causing any harm. It still has a lot of power in such a state. It's a fantastic piece of engineering, but it's pricey. I bought a dishwasher from a company called Miele because I was enamored with the vacuum, and that has been a joy as well. It's silent, and cleans everything better than its predecessors, I never knew how much cleaner and spot-free things could be. It's a model that fits my apartment. Holds a lot.

I would recommend these bags to anyone who wants to keep their 3D printer clean and dry.
